Hello, my name is Amanda. I am not currently pregnant but trying very hard. In March i found out i was pregnant and only two short weeks later found out i lost it. My husband and i were extremely excited about the pregnancy because we had been trying for 7 months. Now i know that isn't that long but when you are trying it feels like forever. I am currently in the military as a reservist/guardsman. I also work fulltime for the state of connecticut. Along with that i am a certified nail technician and work in a salon. I hope to become a stay at home mom once we get pregnant and the baby comes but that all lies on wether my hubby gets a new job. He is in the process of trying to become a Corrections Officer. If all goes well he will hopefully get in soon and my worries of not having enough money to stay home with baby will subside. I was a single working mother when i had my son so i know that is not something i want to do again. i think my husband and i will do whatever it takes so i can stay home with the kids. unfortunately but fotunately my son's biological father has nothing to do with us. Some of you may think its to bad but i think its great. See there was a time in my life that i rebelled against what i do not know and my son was a product of this rebellion. However he changed my life for the best. I couldn't be happier that he came along. I am such a different person because of him and who knows where i would be if he didn't happen. Well, its been 6 years and his father hasn't even cared to try to have anything to do with us so i got his rights terminated and my husband gladly adopted him. My husband has been the most wonderful person in the world. When we started dating he jumped right into the whole parent role. Changing diapers and giving baths. so much so i think he scared himself to death and completely ran the opposite way for about two weeks until he realized he absolutely could not live iwthout us. A couple months after that he proposed. Our wedding was phenomanal. i was so happy. Still am. We were the first in the family to get married and i think we started a domino affect. since we got married there has been 7 weddings between family and friends. Naturally becasue we were the first to get married we are now the 1st to TTC. we are very excited for this time in our lives. I can't wait for the day of my BFP. i will be the happiest person alive.
