Crazy family of 7 soon to be 8. Justin and i met on Match.com and started dating february 2004, and 3 years later we married. Justin has 4 boys and i was pregnant with my daughter. i was a single mother. He stepped in ever since and has been her dad since before she was born. We married/eloped August 12, 2006 with only a handful of family at the beach with us. In january 07 i had my IUD taken out and immediatly we were pregnant, not long after that i had a very bad miscarriage. We tried to get pregnant after that with no success, really trying on our nerves. We decided to not try for awhile and BAM! pregnant. Now we are pregnant with our very first together! Living in South Tampa, home of the yuppies and the bucs, we find peach in such a chaotic time in our life.

With my daughter i was in prelabor for 5 days before being induced. Contractions 4-6 minutes apart for 5 whole days. My doctor finally gave in and induced me and the petocin didn't work that night, so after having really bad back labor they finally let me sleep. The next day before i woke up i was given the petocin again and another dose of cervadil to relax my cervix. All day nothing, finally in the early afternoon, they said they would break my water if it didn't happen in the next hour, and sure enough, i popped on my own. guess it was scared of a long needle! after my water broke i remember really bad contractions. the pain was so intense i didn't even recognize my own sister. they grabbed the epidural guy out of the hallway and made him give me one, and after that i was MUCH better. i was so scared of the epidural wearing off that i said i felt pressure so they gave me a shot of morphine. yea baby! no pain, even if there wouldnt' have been i had all of it covered. i pushed maybe for 20 minutes, and out came a big 7 lb 14 oz girl. there you have it. my birthing story.

Oh my goodness...thank you for the nursery comment! Believe it or not, the rug was a Target find. Have a wonderful weekend!
