[[Updates]] Decemeber 4th, 2007 (19 weeks) We found out today that we are having a little boy!!! His name will be Landon and we're sooooooooooooo excited! Today was my first ultrasound and it was really amazing! I saw the little guy kicking and moving around! He was really cute! I go back for another ultrasound at 32 weeks so thats when I get all the pictures and stuff. I thought that they print the pics but it turns out they just put them all on a cd for you..pretty cool. The technician said we're going to have a stubborn baby because when she was trying to move him around to take a picture of his heart he wouldnt move..hehe funny. So now that we know what we're having I can start my shopping! Im so excited! :D Thats all for now I guess! I'll update again soon! December 17th, 2007 (21 weeks) Today was the first time Shawn was able to feel baby Landon kick!! And he kicked hard! haha It was the cutest thing! I swear just seeing shawns face almost made me cry. Such a special moment! :):) December 18th, 2007 (21 weeks) Today I feel like crap! Im so light headed and dizzy and I dont know why. I keep eating but nothing is working. I keep getting this light headed feeling even if im sitting down :( Oh well maybe I'll just go to bed or something. December 24th, 2007 (22 weeks) Yay! Its Christmas Eve! Merry Christmas Eve to everyone! hehe. So today is my first day in week 22! Im so excited! I've done so much shopping already for our little guy! Everyones been telling me not to buy too many clothes cuz he'll never wear half of them but I can't help it! Whatever I see I have to buy! LOL. He's gonna have a lot of stuff! I've been feeling better the past couple of days...gotten over my light headed feeling. Ugh but my gums are acting up now! They bleed so bad whenever I brush! And they are soooo swollen! I hate it! Im so worried I have something wrong..cuz i was reading about gingivitis and such when you're pregnant can lead to preterm labour. So I can't wait to get to the dentist after the holidays! Hopefully he'll fix it! So thats all for now I hope everyone has a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! :):) December 28th, 2007 (22 weeks) Christmas is over! Ahhhh! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and I hope Santa was good to everyone! ;) The baby isn't even here yet and he got so many awesome presents!!! I felt like I was having a baby shower! haha Everyones so excited its great! Tomorrow is my last day in week 22! So exciting!! I feel Landon moving and kicking all the time now! Its so cool. He usualy moves at night when im watching tv but neevr when I'm trying to sleep! At least not yet! I can't wait to get my 32 week scan to see him again! Such a cutie! January 17th, 2008 (25 weeks) Wow! I haven't updated in awhile! Well...everyday Landon is getting stronger and stronger! Kicking and moving everywhere! Although somedays he's lazy and it freaks me out! lol. I went to the doc a couple days ago for my monthly check up and I have gained a whopping 11 pounds since my last visit! I couldn't believe that! But the doctor didn't seem to mind. So that brings my total weight gain so far to about 28lbs..something like that. Im hoping I don't gain more than 40 lbs! But as long as he is healthy I'm happy!! Im in the process of washing all his clothes now and putting them away! So exciting!! I didn't realise how much stuff I have and I didn't even have my shower yet!! hehe. I go on the 24th for my glucose test so i hope everything is ok with that! I'll update when thats taken care of I guess! <3 February 11, 2008 (29 weeks) Well, where do I start... Today I went for my monthly checkup and they told me that I tested positive for group-b strep. That freaked me out...A LOT! I'm really worried about it but they say its nothing to worry about. Yeah right!!! I worry about everything and reading some of the things that were written online about it was really scary. But I guess as long as I get to the hospital and they give me the antibiotics before Landon gets here..they say he should be fine. I only gained 2 pounds since last month so that was good news! I was scared to step on that scale!! LOL. The doc said my belly is growing perfectly and Landon's heartbeat was perfect!! I'm so excited...its getting really close now!! But still far away..hehe. I can't wait to meet my little man!! I have another ultrasound on March 3rd or 4th (I cant remember right now) Im so anxious to find out if everythings ok with him since my last one was at 19 weeks. Plus I get the cd with his pictures on it!! I swear Im gonna look at it everyday!! My family is giving me a baby shower on Saturday then the next Saturday people from my work are giving me one! I can't wait!! I still didnt buy his crib yet and I'm getting kinda nervous now. I wanna have everything ready for him. Well I guess thats all for now..I'll update after my showers!! =)) March 10th, 2008 (33 weeks) Ok, Im getting so anxious to see Landon now!! Ahhhh its driving me insane waiting and waiting...but I know once he gets here everythings gonna go by sooo fast and I'm gonna miss being pregnant!! That makes me sad...lol. I went for my last ultrasound on Friday and they told me everything looks great, hes head down and he weighs five pounds already!!! Crazy!! I didnt think he weighed that much already! As long ashes healthy... I had my two baby showers last month! They were so much fun and I got a lot of great stuff that I needed. We still need to do a ton of shopping though...it seems like it never ends! But its fun! I never thought I'd have so much fun spending my money on someone else...and not even care about anything I need, It's all baby!!! LOL. My how how life changes once you find out your expecting. I can't wait for summer...especially since Landon will be here its gonna be sooo much fun! Anyways, I'm gonna go eat something heheh, thats all for now! <3 March 23, 2008 (35 weeks) Shawn and I went for our tour of the maternity ward last week. It was nice to get to see where I'll be delivering Landon. The delivery rooms are GORGEOUS!! The recovery rooms....EW! I HATE THEM! Even the private rooms are small and ugly! Ugh..so dissapointed! Oh well...Hopefully we won't have to stay in the hospital for too long. Before the tour they had a class about breastfeeding..I figured I'd go even though I won't be breast feeding. *sigh* The lactation nurse that they had was just jabbing formula feeding moms the whole time!! Also talking about how the hospital is all about breast feeding..I know that breast milk is very healthy and a great thing for moms to do if they want to..but I DO NOT believe that it is always best. Anyhoots, I can go on and on all night about this so I'll just stop now. I will say that I will probably get into A LOT of arguments with nurses while at the hospital! lol. 35 weeks already...I can't believe it! Seems like just yesterday I was peeing on that stick! It still seems so far away though until he gets here! I hope he comes two weeks early!! heheh. I'm so tired of being pregnant!! Thats all for now I guess! Maybe the next time I update Landon will be here! ;-) <3 April 12, 2008 (37 weeks) Okay so I know I said hopefully Landon will be here the next time I update..YEAH RIGHT! What was I thinking? LOL. If anything he'll probably late! Ugh. I'm not liking being pregnant anymore! I just want him here so we can start our new life with him. I also want my body back! I wanna feel sexy again and actually have fun having sex..lol. I feel so bad for Shawn. I always think to myself oh maybe tonight but then I just fall asleep or dont wanna be touched AT ALL! He's been so good about it though! I don't know how you ladies deal with your husbands or boyfriends being deployed or not being with you! Shawn leaves on weekends for trainings and I miss him so much! =( On to another subject...I am so annoyed with EVERYBODY now! (Exceot Shawn) It seems like everyone is really f*kin stupid and anything anyone says annoys the crap outta me! I can't even talk to my own mom for more than 5 minutes because she says things that irritate me so bad! I feel bad but omg! Just annoying! LOL.
