hey whats up well im SANDRA i'm 22 years old and a proud mother of two babies one sadly passed away on october 2oo6 my son genaro jesse jr he was born asleep he was a stillborn!! i still think about him & wonder what he would look like right now!! i think about my son everyday ill never forget him and even though hes not here with us i will always claim my son!! i love him and miss him dearly may he rest in peace , well i also have a lil gurl her name is stephanie gizelle she was born on march 24th she was 8 pounds and 12 oz. and 20 inches.. ohhh man!! being a mother is a greattt feeling!! i just wanna thank god for giving me a chanse to be a mother and for giving this beautiful healthy baby girl!! she is sooo precious i just love watching her sleep and all the little things she does are soo wonderful! well right now my babys daddy is locked up and i dont know when hell be out soo im doing this hole single mother thing but!! i have the help of my beautiful mother!!! shes been great!! i love her soo much shes been there for me since day one!! and i just wanna thank her for everything she has done!! well i live in bakersfield cali and right now im unemployed!! i dont know when ill be looking for a job again!! i really dont want to i wanna be here at home with my princess but hey!! sooner or later i have to go back!! anywaze i like to meet new people im friendly and im a good listener sooo if u have anyquestionsss or just need another friend hey!! im rite here!! ok peace!! wanna know more just ask!l;]

Hi, I just read your concern about giving your baby tea and my doctor told me to do the same thing. It wont hurt your baby but just make sure it is tea without caffeine in it. They use to give babies tea back in the day so it is good to know that it was a kind of home remedy. And if they did it back then it must have worked for alot of people. My doctor told me to use peppermint or chamomile tea for soothing their tummy and to also put in just the littlest amount of sugar to sweeten it a little so that it is not bland. Good luck! Thats how i was on my last weeks, bag all packed in the car for like 3 wks, and everytime i would leave my kids at home thinking it was going to be the day they leave me at the hospital and nothing...so my last visit, i left the kids home left the bag home and figured if i wasnt prepared they would finally leave me,,,so thats what happened my blood pressure happened to be high that day and i stayed,,,right on her due date...funny...but just hang there,,shell come unexpectedly..

Hey Sandra! First of all I am really sorry about the loss of your first baby but congrats on this pregnancy. I was just reading your comment about you being scared about the contractions. I had my first baby back on Nov.28th and I was TERRIFIED of the pain. I ended up getting induced and was in labour for 12 hours with NO PAIN RELIEF. I planned on having an epidural but my labour did not progress and because I was not making and headway, they would not give me drugs. Anyway, it was by no means pleasant but it was manageable and you can cope with or without drugs, trust me, you can do it! I ended up having a c-section but I hope you don't and honestly, don't worry because each contraction brings you that much closer to your bundle of joy and it is soooooo worth it! Hang in there and let me know it goes, best wishes!!!!

It's probably not that the baby is getting hard. I think you are having braxton hicks contractions--which is 100% normal and healthy. It's your body's way of 'practicing' and strengthening your uterus before delivery. Your stomach gets hard--not the baby. Check out info on Braxton Hicks on the Internet (I think there is even a board devoted to it on thsi site) if you are concerned.

Its the strep b test and its not a big deal at all its pretty much the flu in the vagina and the only thing that they do is have you on antibiotics while you deliver. so dont worry they just check cause if they dont know ahead of time the baby could get sick but when they do antibiotics during labor it prevents it! hello darling !!! you and i need to talk ...my babies daddy is in jail too...he got locked up when i was 6 months pregnant and i am having the baby on 2/21/08 and he won't be coming home anytime soon...maybe in like 5 years. I just want you to know that your not alone... i have been dying to talk to someone who is in my shoes... i am still with my son daddy and i imagine i will wait it out til he comes home ( i love him so much) but this situation is the worst thing ever. My big sister has taken over the daddy role too, she helps me w/ everything and is staying with me when i have the baby... I get really sad because i think about all the things he is going to miss, but i thank the lord that my child doesnt even know him yet, and that this all happened while he was in my tummy, that we he doesnt know the difference....Well write me anytime... I think my maternity leave starts tomorrow after 5, but i will still be on to check on everyone...Good luck and keep your head up !!
