2/7/08-I just want a nap - one that lasts a few weeks and then for this lump in my throat to go away. I can deal with the morning/all day sickness but these two things are driving me BUGGY!

2/11/08- Still wanting to nap, but the lump thing is getting better. THANK GOODNESS! Drs. appt. tomorrow, can't wait. Because I am not feeling sick as much, I don't really "feel" pregnant anymore. (I am a little nervous because of this, but I am sure all is well, and its just the 1st time mother to be worries.) I can't wait to feel the baby moving.

2/12/08- They put me on extra iron for the anemia. But that is the least of my worries. Come on baby why can't I hear your heart beat. I am scared and just want to know all is well in there. Guess I will have to wait until Thursdays ultrasound to find/hear/see the heartrate again. :-(

2/14/08- Happy Valentines Day Baby. Well today was the day to find your heartbeat and there it was 153. You are quite the mover and did not want to stay in one place for the U/S Tech, but she caught you. I feel sooooo much better knowing all is well in there. I can't wait for you to come, but I know we have a while yet. :-P

2/19/08- Well we had a rough Sunday-Monday, but we got through it. I am sorry for stressing you out, but Mommy had to put her best friend to sleep Monday at 1:00 am and it was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. You were a trooper though, gave me a little heartburn but didn't put up too much of a fuss when I couldn't eat normally. Thanks. I wish you could have met Mischief but I will surely tell you all about her and show her pictures to you when you get here, she took care of me for the last 9 years. Funny I was the owner she was just a cat but she ruled my life. Well hang in tight in there, I love you and can't wait for you to get here. And Mischief : I LOVE YOU and RIP.

2/22/08- Well the last few days have been rough, we spent Wednesday at the hospital all day - thought with all that cramping that I was losing you. Turns out that you appear well despite my having some sort of stomach thing. They gave me medicine that they promise won't hurt you and I am taking it as directed. Today I am feeling better though and will start to introduce us to "real" food again. I am sorry for not being able to feed you too much, but.... Love ya.

2/26/08- Drs. appt today for follow up to last weeks hospital trip. After a search you and your heartbeat were found 153 - doing good. I am feeling pretty good, feel a little bit of a pulling in there but thats to be expected. Set up the appt to see if you will let me know what you are for 3/27, everyone is betting your a girl - I am hopeing you are a boy - but we will be happy with whatever you are. xxoo

3/12/08- Drs. appt today 17w 4d, everything is good except that I lost weight AGAIN. Its literally been a roller coaster, down, up, down... Found your heartbeat RIGHT AWAY, I mean the doppler touched my belly and there it was 153 again. Good baby!!!! Can't wait till the 27th to maybe find out what you are. Dr says everything is going as it should, thank heavens- sometimes I just don't feel pregnant anymore. xxoo

3/12/08 cont.....Quad screen results were back too and nothing to be worried about there.... YEAHHHHHHHHHH...

3/27/08- 85% chance you are Angelica Marie.... but you would not open your legs for a clear shot - but we saw the three lines..... Everything looks good and you are measuring where you should be. Approximate weight 11 ounces. We will have to wait till the 30 week scan for confirmation of your "girly" status but you are, I JUST KNOW IT!!!!

4/9/08- Okay - Heartrate today is in the 140 range, doctor says its fine. The Placenta Priva (?) that was on the original U/S's was fixing itself as of the last scan on 3/27/08 so the doctor says there is probably no need for concern- but of course that just means I will be concerned. I was never even told that there was an issue with the first couple U/S's so............ Otherwise all is well. The doctor says he is probably going to start seeing me every 2 weeks since I am having so MANYYYYY cramping/stomach issues. Well I guess if its my confirmation to know all is well in there that is good. Waiting not soooo patiently to see you.

4/14/08 - So this was a busy weekend. Friday your room was painted, friday night was spent hanging the tinkerbell static stickers your dad insisted you have. Saturday was shopping for carpet, ceiling fan and many other little things including your dresser/cabinet. Then of course the ceiling fan and carpet had to go in so that took us until about 11 p.m. Sunday we (mainly me) put your crib together and and the cabinet. We put the little outfits we have for you away, and all the other little things we have bought away and hung up nets with stuffed animals in them. Your room is almost complete- I just need to touch the paint up that was damaged when the carpet was put in and the walls were still tacky from the paint. Now its just time to wait for the baby shower on June 28th and then for your debut!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! So eager to know you are well and to see you. xxoo

4/22/08 - Drs. appt today, Alison reports that your heartrate is ranging between 149-157, very good. I mentioned to her that I have not really "felt" you yet and she told me that it is not unusual but that if I am still not feeling anything in 2 weeks that they will order an ultrasound to be sure of everything. However while she was listening to your heartbeat, there were several times that she felt you kick and the thump could be heard on the doppler. It was quite cute, you're protesting the doppler listening to you. Next appt. 5/8, but she also stated that if I ever need that "extra assurance" of hearing your heartbeat to just call and she will fit me in for a quick listen.... Thats very reassuring to me.... Love ya and can't wait for you to get here.

5/8/08 - Saw Alison again today, your heartrate ranged from 146-152, good once again. I was scolded because I lost 15 pounds in the last 2 weeks, but I don't know how that is since I have been eating - all but this past Sunday when I was sick. I will have to keep my eye on this and work a little harder. We are having another ultrasound today because I am not really sure if what I am feeling is you or not and Alison would rather have us be on the safe side. I agree!!!! Plus I like all the "xtra" peeks at you! Well I will post more in a little bit the U/S is in 30 mins.

5/8/08 continued - I saw the cutiest little face today - you were batting your little eye lids and the tech swears you have my nose. Heartrate 153, and you are moving all around. And you decided today would be a good day to let us verify that you ARE INDEED A GIRL, Misses Bold Butt all flashing your stuff like no tomorrow. :-) Growth is good, there is plenty of fluid around you, the placenta previa is cleared and you are no longer breach!!!! Ahhhh, now if we could just get to August mommy would be happy! HUGS.

5/23/08 - Drs appt today. We passed the glucose test- no gestastional diabetes. Iron low - not so good, will have to try and figure out a way to adjust that. Heartrate good 146. Weight back to what it was before the last appt. So either what I lost was gained back or the scale was wrong the last time. I have been instructed to rest. And the doctor and his staff both agreed today that this hasn't been an easy pregnancy for me. No wonder why I say you will be an only child! I love you and can't wait to have you here but don't want to do this all again!!! Come on August. Hugs

6/10/08 - Drs appt today, and since I was not feeling well I was happy to see them. This passed Sunday I spent sick with N/V/D - all of which are not plesant. Then today I was feeling crampy and nauseous so..... Alison checked your heartrate 146 - good, she did an internal to make sure that I was not dilating - I am not, then after a few other external exams she told me I was dehydrated and that I need to increase my fluids or I will have to be admitted in the hospital. So home I went and during the next 8 hours I drank a gallon of water - ughhhhhh. And I am going to make an effort to drink more water everyday - I don't want to have to have IV fluids. We set up the rest of my appts from now till delivery week and my next U/S which is on 7/9/08. I can't wait to have a peek at you again. Alison also gave me a lecture on Iron and told me some other products to try so...... (My weight is back to the "norm" no weight gain but no weight loss- right were it was preprego and what it was for the first few appts.) Can't wait for August.... Hugs

6/24/08 - Drs appt today. I gained 4lbs, finally I am over what I started at. Your heartrate is in the 160's - Dr. Altman says that would indicate you are active though I don't feel it that much. Having an ultrasound tomorrow to make sure all is well in there since I only feel you move like every other day. Can't wait to see you again tomorrow and then in person. xxoo

6/25/08- Ultrasound today. We are measuring a little ahead of time - 33 weeks 1day instead of the 32weeks 4 days we thought. The tech was able to see all 4 chambers of the heart and said that there was enough fluid around the baby. Confirmed once again, definately a girl. Weight=5lbs 1ounce, meaning that at delivery she will be about 8-9lbs. HOLY CRAP. Oh dear lord you are going to need to help me with pushing her out!! Got a good pic of her with her eyes and mouth open and punching me! Its the cutiest thing. Plus it would appear you have a bunch of hair- evident in one of the pictures also.... Can't wait to see you : BUT NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE PUSHING YOU OUT!

7/9/08- Saw Alison today, gained 1 pound again- still well within the norms- so far only 7 pounds the whole pregnancy. Did the Strep B culture, we will get the results in 2 weeks at the appt on the 22nd. Heartrate in the 140's. The last ultrasound showed Angelica measuring in the 67th percentile. Because as is the norm for me in this pregnancy we will be doing an ultrasound next Wednesday because of the only feeling movement 1x a day... So all is well so far. (oh and my BP was better then prepregnancy 118/72. I average mid 120's / high 70's preprego, and since pregnancy 130's / 80's. Guess I am really relaxing now....)

7/16/08- Ultrasound today - weight 7lbs 5 ounces= OH MY GOD, 9+ lb baby at birth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heartrate 138 - good. Plenty of fluid around you- probably attributes to why I don't feel as much movement as others do... Saw your little chest going up and down - practicing your breathing like a good little girl... Its getting harder to get around these days - but we are in the countdown now. Still can't wait to see you- but starting to get a little worried about having to push you out!

7/22/08- Drs appt today. Gained 1/2 a pound in the last 2 weeks. Heartrate 150's. Was hooked up to the fetal monitor today, despite laying there for 20 mins there was no movement noted- EXCEPT after Dr. A blew the horn in your ear and then I had a couple movements. We tested positive for GBS so that means antibiotics at labor to hopefully delay your getting it. :-( Oh well what can you do?!?!?! Week Drs. appts now and another ultrasound next Wednesday- same reason as always limited movements! Dr. A says though that everything shows you are fine- heartrate, size, u/s, everything. So now its the monitoring and waiting game..... I can't wait to hold you in my arms....
