hey my name is maribel am 22 years old, am 25 weeks pregnant with my first child ... and am new to this. Just wanting to make friends and get advice from those who have some. Am so excited about my baby boy coming to this world. Am also really scared but am sure so is everyone else. so we will see how it all works out.

well i cant sleep and being 6 months pregnant and feeling huge is just not making things easier. my boyfriend freddie got all the pregnancy symptoms our first trimester so all this is new to me. at work i sit for 12 hours long answering 911 phone lines and dispatching police officers so by the end of my day my back is killing me. but lately it seems like only my right side (where my ribs are) is where all the pain is coming from. i have tried sitting differently but it just wont work. oh well it will all be worth it at the end of the road. so anyhow, my other half and i decided since we are having a boy to name him Joshua Jacob Luna. (so let me know how you like the name). can anyone help me out and let me know how to resist buying baby clothes? all my friends and family tell me to wait untill after the baby shower but am having a hard time. its my first child and i just cant help myself to buy things when am at the stores or online. HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL THE MOMMIES OUT THERE.

Hello to all the momies out there. well am 27 wks pregnant and loving it. My baby boy joshua jacob luna however is loving the fact the he is practicing to be the kicker for for a football team or some kind of sport. He is a very active baby but in a way i like it because it makes me feel like i know he is okay and healty even the times that it kind of hurts because he kicks really hard. I have thankfully had a very good pregnancy, not too many symptoms and the ones i do get are not that bad. Lately my right side near my ribs hurt really bad but usually only when i sit for a long time. Another thing that bothers me is that my legs hurt and the lovely leg cramps but who doesnt get those. At 6 months i have gained a total of 15 pounds and i dont know if its normal or not but i feel huge even though everyone that i do see tells me am not big for being pregnant. I dont really feel that attractive being big and not fitting into my normal clothes and feeling like i dont have anything to wear, but i just have to realize am pregnant...and i cant fit into my old clothes. But its just that maternity clothes is not the cutest and i dont want to spend too much money on something i wont wear again. I just have to make it thru it and realize pregnancy is not forever and its for a good result. Its just that when everyone does tell me i look good for being pregnant i have a hard time believing them and i start to think they are just saying that to be nice to me. But oh well am excited about my baby and happy to go thru this miracle of life.

well i hope you all had a good thanksgiving. as for me it was pretty good and baby joshua has been behaving fairly well. i have not had any bad symptoms of pregnancy but the only thing i have to complain about is that my right side where my ribs are and towards my back area is killing me. sometimes i cant take the pain and i either have to walk it off or lay down. the pain is so bad sometimes i dont even know how to explain it to my boyfriend and family. but besides that everything else is going well , am 29 wks and the doctor said the baby is healthy and growing. we are working on the nursery and am so excited to see the walls painted and the glidder all together. we are still waiting for the crib to arrive its been ordered so we also got the bedding and its a safari theme...its too cute...i will post pictures soon....well thats it for now, i'll keep you all updated...take care....

well am 34 wks and i went to the docs apt this week and here is the update. they told me that my baby boy is doing healthy and am doing just fine. i recently started getting really bad heartburn and i have never felt that before so am hurting bad. am also getting full too fast so am not eating very much so the doctor wants me to eat a bit more. i have gained 21 pounds all together. today my crib arrived so am super excited about that and my better half put it together. it looks great (check out the pics). tomorrow am going to go get my stroller and carseat so everything is starting to feel so real. i just cant wait to hold joshua for the first time. am ready for labor, well ready as am going to be. i just want to go back to sleeping on my belly and wearing my old clothes and instead of feeling joshua kick i can get to see him do it. hehe.

well today i went to my docs apt am 36 wks and they checked me and everything seems normal and baby is healthy. we heard the baby's heartbeat and yeah he is healthy and kicking mama like crazy. i am now going to start visiting the docs weekly, so we will see how the progress goes. am getting more and more excited about baby joshua coming. our nursery is nearly almost done, crib and bassinet are dont and we just got a car seat and stroller so am excited. recently i have been feeling extremly tired and sleepy and i just cant wait untill all this is over. cant believe four more weeks to go. its getting hard to sit at work for 12 hours because i have to pee so much and the pressure of my belly since am still carrying kind of high. anyhow good luck to all you momies out there reading this....

BIRTH STORY...

okay so here it goes..on January 15th 2008 at 1230 i felt like i had pee my pants while i was sleeping. i never really thought it could be my water breaking since my due date was feb 7th and i didnt think he was going to come 3 weeks early. so anyhow i called my other half who had just left our house about an hour prior to all this starting he had gone to work to drop off a report and i let him know what the situation was. he said he didnt know if it was my water or not but to call my mother and ask while he was on his way home. so when i did my mom told me its better safe then sorry so all three of us headed to the hospital. i had the was thinking i was going to get sent home but whatever i would still go. so i arrived at the hospital at 0205 and was at 2cm and my water had broken and with leaking slow untill eventually just came out. the contractions started about 20 minutes later and they hit hard but short just one right after another. about an hour later i was at 5cm and then at 0526 joshua jakob luna was born. it was not bad at all. no time for epidural or anything else. over all the delivery was not that bad, it seemed painful but not like i expected. joshua was 6 pounds 6 oz and 19 inches. a handsome little baby boy who i fell in love with as soon as i layed my eyes on him.
