It's a girl...............AGAIN!!! This is daughter #5 for our family, we will welcome Riley Elise sometime around May 15th, 2008. We are excited, and quite frankly starting over, we have daughter's who are 20,18, 16 & 9...............one married who is the mother to our beautiful granddaughter, and one who is graduating a day after my due date , and heading off to college!!! But we consider Riley a blessing after an early miscarriage in April of 2007. We are still young enough to do this again, although I do feel the difference in my body now, wish I was in better shape, and 25 again, kind of :) Best wishes to all!

Hello:) I was reading your message in the breastfeeding forum. My baby squirms every once in awhile too while feeding. I have noticed that when I switch breasts he seems to be more satisfied with the other. I have heard that it can be anything from a bubble to an ear infection. These are just suggestions I have gotten from other women. I think sometimes he might be squirmy because my milk lets down slower in one breast. If he is really hungry he is much more eager to eat. And also, sometimes he gets wiggly because he is trying to poop. Maybe it's just coincidence but I did read somewhere that nursing and sucking triggers some kind of reflex that makes the baby want to poo:) It is kind of trying when he does it too me...sometimes all I want to do is relax and he's freaking out. Does your baby cry when she does it too? It's like...a frustration cry to me so that also reinforces my idea about the slow let down. Do you lay down to nurse? How often do you give her a bottle? I'm asking because I leave the baby sitter about 15 ounces for my 9 to 5 shifts at work and I'm not sure if we give our bottles at about the same frequency. He eats about every 3 hours. Well, hope to hear from you. Take Care!

Thank you for the comment. I actually took my son to Dr yesterday again, because he started having yellow discharge while on antibiotic eye drops. But Dr said to continue using the same drops as needed and do a massage of tear ducts that supposed to help even more than drops. I hope very much that with all above it will clear fast.
Thanks again.

Hey there. I just wanted to give you the La Leche League forum website. Some of the info is invaluable, and the ladies are very experienced and friendly. http://forums.llli.org/ Also, this is pretty much an online breastfeeding bible .. http://www.kellymom.com/bf/index.html Good luck with breastfeeding! I'm sure I'll see you in the breastfeeding forum :o)

Congrats on your new little angel! It's so nice that your daughter and granddaughter will be able to grow up together. Welcome to breastfeeding!!! I am a first time Mom but so far it is by far the most rewarding thing I have ever experienced. I'm online quite a bit so feel free to message me anytime if there's anything I can help you with as far as breastfeeding goes! I think all Moms are worried about how much their little one is getting at first. I can't remember how old your daughter is but a good indicator is if they are back to their birth weight by a week old, or is it two weeks.... Sorry, that's not so helpful huh?

Thanks for the sweet advice. Some days I do find myself rushing around and I think oh goodness, I have got to slow down or these girls will be grown before I know it. lol I kind of figured the teen years would be difficult as I know I was sometimes. You seem like a really wonderful mother. So glad to be able to talk to you. Congrats on the new addition. Have a wonderful day.

Hi,

I was just looking around and found your page. That is really neat that you have 5 girls. I have 2 now and the one I am expecting. lol I expect if we have anymore we will have all girls too. Is it difficult when they hit their teens?

I just so happened to come across your profile and saw that your daughters middle name is Elise as well :) I just had my 2nd Daughter on the 8th and had never heard Elise used as a middle name until now :)

Thank you so much marie for your response to my post. It's just comforting to hear other people's experiences too... I guess I don't have that much room to grow vertically cuz I am feeling the growth horizontally now..especially TODAY :D LOL ... we're almost there and I cannot believe how time is flying by!! :) Best wishes to you dear and hope you're doing great :) xo's
