I found out I was pregnant sometime in the beginning of October. My fiance is amazing and we were already engaged before this unexpected surprise. We'll be married in August. The baby's due June 10 and we are both VERY excited. I've always loved children and grew up with lots of neices and nephews, so it's not too scary. : ) But, for now we're just trying to enjoy the time before our lives flip upside down....

Tuesday, 19 Feb
So, I `m very depressed about gaining 20 pounds already. : ( but i `m still hoping to be able to control the weight gain a little bit throughout this. Baby still isn `t kicking too much but I guess that `s normal? anyways...gotta go eat-i `m starving!

Friday, 22 Feb
Don `t have much energy and don `t really know why. I guess I should just keep exercising and trying to do what `s best for me but it `s hard when you don `t feel like doing anything!

Monday, 25 Feb
IT `S A BOY!

Thursday, 6 Mar
My little Carlos Matthew is causing heartburn most nights, hemorroids most days, and another couple pounds!! im afraid these next 14 weeks may take a long time to complete...but don `t get me wrong! i love my little man. : )

Saturday, 8 Mar
i `m definately starting to feel fat...like i `ve gained weight a little everywhere and i `m not a huge fan! i want to still fit in some of my clothes i bought a couple months ago! if it was just my belly, i wouldn `t mind but i `m starting to notice it in my butt and thighs, and even my face!! : ( it `s very depressing but i guess it `s just some of the cost i have to pay for loving one little one so dearly.

Wednesday, 26 Mar
Supposedly everything is going great! Had my almost last monthly checkup today and will start every 2 weeks next month! They said everything is going well. I `m just still struggling on whether to go to a birthing class or not.

Tuesday, 1 Apr

So I `m in week 30 today. I don `t really feel like I am that far along but bad sleeping, heartburn, hemorroids, everything coming back again. It `s pretty crazy I `ll be holding my little boy in 10 weeks time though. : )

Tuesday, 3 June

So I'm feeling just about ready to get this little boy out into the world. Praying it will be later this week or early next.-would hate to go 2 weeks late but I'm still pretty comfortable so with my luck I probably will..

I'm in Syracuse, I'm scared 2 go outside everyone is talking about it! Lol not wen I'm pregnant, the only reason I'm going out is if I'm going 2 the hospital.

patty1284 - Thursday, 5 June
The only thing i've heard to do is squats really, and keep your belly relaxed, I guess theres not much else to do :(

knockoutmom - Thursday, 5 June

knockoutmom - Monday, 2 June
i did the same thing a week or two ago. i cleaned the whole house and in a few hours zach and the cats tore the whole thing up! so ive given up all cleaning til thursday then im having my little nest fest! im sure once we return from the hospital the cats will already have messed it all up though which i dont even wanna think about.

knockoutmom - Monday, 2 June
awww lucky! i forgot to add heartburn to my list. id love to be surprised about when she was coming. that way i wouldnt have the whole entire day before to freak out like im going to this thursday. i am so nervous! im not really so worried about being cut open or anything, its just the numb feeling thats gonna get me. plus im known to have panic attacks so im hoping that i can somehow relax my mind and just concentrate on the baby. are you getting nervous?

knockoutmom - Monday, 2 June
oh your one of the lucky ones then! i feel like hell. im nauseated, i cant go to the bathroom, i cant sleep, i get horrible contractions. the list definitely goes on! yea i guess they say only 3% of births are breech and somehow i ended up in this rare percentage. i guess it keeps things interesting though! haha. im so nervous. only 4 more days to go!!!

knockoutmom - Friday, 30 May

I just copied and pasted it for you, the site is called smartmomma
how Can I Naturally Induce Labor?

How can I naturally induce labor? Your ankles are swollen, your hemorrhoids are throbbing, and you feel like the L.A. Lakers are stomping on your ribs. Sounds like you are overdue! What do you do when you are at or over 40 weeks and you want to naturally induce labor?

There are some things you can do to naturally induce labor. Please note that these are not proven methods and may not work at all. At this point, we’re sure you’re willing to try anything to naturally induce labor , are we right?

Exercise – at this stage, walking is your best bet
Have Sex - semen contains prostaglandins which helps to dilate and efface the cervix. Orgasm causes the uterus to contract.
Have your Doctor Strip the Membranes
Herbs – midwives sometime recommend Evening Primrose Oil placed directly on the cervix to aid in dilation. Use only as directed from your doctor.
Nipple stimulation – nipple stimulation tricks your body into thinking your nursing to naturally induce labor contractions. Stimulating the nipples releases the oxytocin hormone, which contracts the uterus. This can be done by placing the nipple between the thumb and forefinger and rolling it for 10 to 20 minutes at a time every couple of hours.
Only try these methods to naturally induce labor under the advice and direction of your doctor or midwife. It’s hard to be patient at this point in your pregnancy, but it will be worth it. Until then, try to distract yourself by working, exercising, cleaning and organizing, taking up a hobby, or talking with friends. You will be holding your baby in your arms sooner than you think.

polingn - Friday, 30 May
Yeah I don't mind it either but I rather see his stubborn ass outside of the whomb grrrr

MissDestiny - Thursday, 29 May
Aww thanks, nice to know I'm not the only one with crazy irradic symptoms lol. On top of that, I had some serious crampage tonight, and went to the hospital only to be told I'm barely 2cm, and hardly effaced, baby is low, but nothing more. The nurse said to go home and try to poop lol. I feel so dumb, cuz I'va had two kids already, I should know when it's labor by now! Just goes to show how unpredictable pregnancy really is!!! TC

Niknaks - Tuesday, 27 May
oh we have the same due date haha

Niknaks - Tuesday, 27 May
HAHA thanks for your reply! I suppose I'll find out next week though, since my baby is posterior and my doc didn't wanna get things going today already but she did tell me it's "a rather painful procedure" which made me freak out so I appreciate your input

I found out I was pregnant back in October... I found I was having a baby boy in January..

catesgirlz - Thursday, 22 May
I have no idea, probably as it is my 4th pregnancy they think I know it all. I don't think so! Might just tell my hubby he is delivering the baby, the midwife has really annoyed me today. Still not decided a name anyway. Am so jealous of you all over there getting induced from now on...

PRETTIEST MOM
Once you have been hit, you have to hit 5 pretty Moms.
If you get hit again, You will know you are REALLY pretty!
So hit 15 pretty moms on your friends list to let them know they are
pretty!
Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her
down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop
the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important
and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to
make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the
wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
Send this to someone who you think is a special Mom.''

queen-ri - Monday, 19 May
ACCORDING TO THIS ARTICLE THE WOMEN NEEDS TO BE IN A TOTAL STATE OF CALMNESS AND IN TUNE TO HERSELF AND WITH A MAN THERE TESTOSTERONE LEVELS RISE - YOU WORRY ABOUT HIM BEFORE YOURSELF ETC AND IT PROLONGS LABOR. SUPPOSEDLY

noodle - Monday, 19 May
I meant "thin" out of course. Glad it helped even though your cervix won't "think". (:

mommytobe21 - Monday, 19 May
lol i know wat u mean. same here... ill grab my stomach and everyone will be like "WHAT?" ahahaha. but yeah, i go to the drs. on tues. so Im gonna ask wat it is... i'll let ya know wat my dr. says hehe

noodle - Sunday, 18 May
Your cervix is round and thick...when baby starts to come down and prepare for labor it will think out completely; I suppose you could barely see the edges of it at 100% and when dilated a lot. (head coming out too probably). Does that help?

Grace - Saturday, 17 May
Tuna with cheese, relish, and olives--that sounds like my kinda sandwich. Although what kind of cheese do you use? I slice (mince) up green apples and put them in with the olives and miracle whip ---OH ... Heavenly. I think I'll have one today, thanx for the inspiration. ;)
