I found out I was pregnant sometime in the beginning of October. My fiance is amazing and we were already engaged before this unexpected surprise. We'll be married in August. The baby's due June 10 and we are both VERY excited. I've always loved children and grew up with lots of neices and nephews, so it's not too scary. : ) But, for now we're just trying to enjoy the time before our lives flip upside down....

So, I `m very depressed about gaining 20 pounds already. : ( but i `m still hoping to be able to control the weight gain a little bit throughout this. Baby still isn `t kicking too much but I guess that `s normal? anyways...gotta go eat-i `m starving!

Don `t have much energy and don `t really know why. I guess I should just keep exercising and trying to do what `s best for me but it `s hard when you don `t feel like doing anything!

My little Carlos Matthew is causing heartburn most nights, hemorroids most days, and another couple pounds!! im afraid these next 14 weeks may take a long time to complete...but don `t get me wrong! i love my little man. : )

i `m definately starting to feel fat...like i `ve gained weight a little everywhere and i `m not a huge fan! i want to still fit in some of my clothes i bought a couple months ago! if it was just my belly, i wouldn `t mind but i `m starting to notice it in my butt and thighs, and even my face!! : ( it `s very depressing but i guess it `s just some of the cost i have to pay for loving one little one so dearly.

Supposedly everything is going great! Had my almost last monthly checkup today and will start every 2 weeks next month! They said everything is going well. I `m just still struggling on whether to go to a birthing class or not.

So I `m in week 30 today. I don `t really feel like I am that far along but bad sleeping, heartburn, hemorroids, everything coming back again. It `s pretty crazy I `ll be holding my little boy in 10 weeks time though. : )

So I'm feeling just about ready to get this little boy out into the world. Praying it will be later this week or early next.-would hate to go 2 weeks late but I'm still pretty comfortable so with my luck I probably will..

I wake up with drool all the time, I think it is from all the heartburn, whenever I get heartburn (pretty much all day every day) I feel lots of salvia in my mouth, I think when I am sleeping I just am not consious of it and I don't swallow it! Not fun!

I sometimes find myself on my back too. Especially at nap time on the couch. I just keep turning onto my side when I find myself this way. It's nice to give the hips a break from brunting the weight all night. It's for circulation to the uterus that you don't want to be on your back for too long. You can prop yourself up on one side with a pillow to enjoy a little more back time to keep all the weight off the "piping" (vena cava). That works for me anyways. Good luck! Not much longer to go.

HAHA!!! I know! All of my friends barely gained anything....Im so jealous...I got all my stretch marks on my butt and thighs too....erg!! It's worth it though. Nothing we can't fix...we just have to work at it a little harder:)

when the dr. or midwife strips your membranes it can help u go into labor, my girlfriend has 3 kids and each time they have stripped her membranes, took 5 days for her daughter to come, 3 for her son, and 2 days for her last son. i think u have to be at least 2cm dilated for the dr. to strip you though, and most dr.'s won't do it until 38 weeks. good luck!!!!!!

yeah, i was positive....a little nerve racking but reading up on it as long as they give you the antibiotics during labor then the chances of your baby getting it are REALLY slim so i'm trying not to worry too much about it!

It's for group b strep. They use a q-tip and swab your vag and bum. The baby can get it when it passes through the birth canal...so if your positive they give you antibiotics to prevent it when you go into labor.

haha apparently! well how old was she when she had her children? usually the younger you are the easier it is. in my moms case she was in her 30's for all 3 of us and lost it quick, so i guess everyones kinda different.

No I'd just call and tell them everything...I think you don't need to worry but I think they'd want to know....if it hurts when you pee, that's one of the questions they always ask in regard to a UTI. Hope you feel better!

ditto! im kinda excited to start exercising after i heal up. which is weird because i never exercise! haha, i think just cause im not allowed to i want to. we'll see how much i wanna after all the sleep deprivation though! my mom had 3 kids and lost it easily for the 1st two then after me she hard a hard time. do you plan on breastfeeding? ive heard from everybody that that makes you lose weight quick!

It sounds like it could be a UTI (bladder infection ) on top of having had the exam. I'd call-those things can be miserable.

omg! id freak if i worked there. whats it called? or is it a smaller place? oh my god my dream is to make a big hot fudge sundae with just a little ice cream and all of it covered in hot fudge and whipped cream! rainbow sprinkles, too! oh, and cookie dough! haha!
