About Marietta

Marietta is the nickname of my late grandmother. She lived a long life and we were glad to have her.

The picture I used is a painting by Mary Cassatt, an American Impressionist. It is called "Young Mother Sewing." You can see that I like to be relatively private about my personal information when communicating over the internet, but the Cassatt piece about sums it up.

I was here in Autumn 2007 and was sad to leave too soon in December. Back again now, and there's no telling how long I'll stick around. Long or short, I'm not anxious this time around. What will be will be, and it'll be alright.

I know....that's what my gyno told me, and in the first trimester I was sleeping an average of 12 hours. Can you imagine?

I was feeling so miserable because I was losing the sense of time and day.

Crap...I don't want to go back to that? Most of all when I need to get ready for the baby and it's holiday season.

But I'm starting to get excited about the baby.

I feel him for long periods of time and he kicks so strong....it hurts but it makes me feel better feeling him so strong.

About the Q&A question I put on about bloating, - the pain is in my stomach and sometimes in my chest. There is no constipation involved, just a build up of gas that I can't seem to get rid of. Any advice would be great.

well hello, i am off swimming in a bit with 2 of our 3 boys they love it and hopefully they will sleep tonight.

i had a very good day yesterday and felt really well but today i feel all tierd again and washed out. i have midwife tom so hopefully i will get checked out and get given the all clear. the baby is really starting to move and kick the shit out of me and my hubby still cant feel it whichi s a bits hocking as i might not be on the slim side but with the kick the baby is giving im suprised he cant. i wonder if he is normal with normal hands etc lol. he should be fine though and feel soon. we can hope eh. anyway i really hope ur doing aswell asme and just carrying a baby full stop. oh i was meant to tell u that they put my dates back to the 14th december howver coz of what has happened with the lkast 2 they have agreed to bring baby out on 1st december yippy. soleat now we have a date and have something to focus on. 14 weeks on monday, not that im counting or anything lmao.

Your husband is so cute. How thoughtful is that....to go back to where you spent your honeymoon and stay there for 4 days. That is really nice. *hands down*

About that other thing...girl, you gotta take it easy.

I don't know what could have caused it since hubby and I haven't done anything in months! Sometimes we're like..."should we...?" but then we think of the baby and the stress/fear makes everything vanish in 2 seconds....and we're like...."naaahhhh.....let's wait a little more."

There's absolutely nothing I wouldn't do for this baby...and I still have to meet him. He has me wrapped around his little finger ...ALREADY! Poor me....

One more thing: The family from Texas booked a hotel room. So, entertaining them was simply dinner and a movie. It was a load off!

So funny...

Yup...fish is a must on holidays. I've had it here but the taste obviously is not the same.

If everything goes well, we'll baptize the baby in Italy in May or September....so you can bet I'm going to it nothing but fish there!

That's crazy, yeah we got the same coupon however it's only valid for the month of Sept. I couldn't resist all the cute little clothes they have for baby girls. You know you are right, with girls it's like you have to be careful they don't grow up too fast. With my son it's easy he could care less what he wears.. Amanda is pretty I have been back and forth soo much w/names.

We had orignally thought Brianna Kaitlynn now we are thinking Alinea Callie. Brianna is starting to feel too common.. We will see.. Well I hope you are feeling well and I will talk to you soon!

Actually I was thinking about it before.

I'm going to Costco tomorrow, so I'm planning on buying some mayo, lettuce, celery and tomatoes. Make it really thick and eat it with some nice crackers.

I fear fish so much ...that I'm not actually craving it but 1 thing. I'm dying for some octopus salad ..... but then when I think of where it will come from (the lovely waters of NJ).....I totally give up on it! Damn....I can't wait to go to Italy!!!
