My sweetheart is 6 months old now!!!!!!! She was 15 lbs and 25.5 inches long at her 6 month visit. She can start 2nd foods and juice with a little bit of water. Life is great with the little one since she is sleeping through the night now. I cant wait to take some time off with her this summer. : ) My son just cant get enough of his little sis and is such a great help when it comes to helping out. Life is busy with my son in school and soccer and of course with a 6 month old that likes to grab everything she sees now! They might make me go crazy at times, but life would be nothing without my angels.

I cannot believe my Juliana is already 4 months old! Where did the time go???? At her 4 month visit she was 13lbs 10 oz and 24 inches long. She is still a petite little woman but she has the chubbiest little legs. She just started baby food and she loves it. She loves to sit up and stand. What a smart little girl. Her brother just adores her and he helps out so much with her. He loves to snuggle with her and watch TV. Her dad is just FABULOUS with her. He is the greatest partner I could have asked for. Well other than all of that work is miserable. As soon as I get here I am already waiting for 5 o'clock : ( I just want to be with my kids ALL day. I love life though, so I can't complain. I love being a mommy and wouldn't trade it for the world.

So I have been back at work for a little over a month now and I must say I feel like my little one is growing so much faster now that I dont get to spend as much time with her. She is already 3 months old. I dont remember time going by this fast when I was pregnant. Well all is good with baby. We all adore her soooo much! I couldn't imagine life without her. : )

About ME:

Well Hello! My name is Maritza and I am expecting a little princess November 14th. This will be my second baby! My son is going to be 7 at the end of the year so there is a little age difference there. I was very young when i had my son but I believe that it made me into the woman that I am today and though it was hard to be a teenage mother I never gave up and my son is my pride and joy to this day and everything I do is for him and now for him and his little sister. I cant wait to see what my little princess will look like. I would love to meet new mommies and those with experience as I believe that being a mommy brings new experiences every day! : ) Well i hope to talk to a lot of you and help out with any questions any of you may have. So my princess is finally here!! Juliana Marie is finally here. She was born on November 14th at 12:21P.M. and she was 6 lbs. 12oz. 19 1/2 inches long. I went in to the hospital at 10:00A.M. for my cesarian and she was born shortly after noon. It was very scary and I am still in a lot of pain but doing a lot better, thank god for that vocodin!! : ) I am so in love with my little momma and my fiance is the best with her. We are in heaven right now and cannot believe how lucky we are to have her and for her to be so healthy. Breastfeeding her is a little hard but I LOVE knowing that I can do that for her. The long wait was definetely worth it. She is the most perfect little thing in the world. I wish you all you mommies and babies the best. God Bless you all and just know that your little ones will almost be here and that the wait will be worth it once you have your little one here...

So I had my 38 week appt today and all went well! Blood pressure is good and the baby is head down. My swelling is still bad so my doc wants me to stop working after tomorrow! YAY! That means a week off before my c section...I can sure use the rest. I am super tired and want to relax before the 14th. I guess I have to see her one more time next week to make sure all is still going well before c section. She checked my cervix and she said its soft and thin and I am about 1 1/2 cm dilated. She thinks the baby will stay in till next Wednesday. I just can't believe that in 8 days my little princess will be here with me. WOW!!! And I think it's official, her name will be Juliana Marie.

Happy Halloween!! So I had my 37 week appt even though I wasnt really 37 weeks till today! LOL my doc is off today so she had to squeeze me in a day early! : ) All went well. My feet have been swelling a lot but thank GOD my blood pressure is good and weight gain is at 15 lbs so she isnt concerned about the swelling. I wasnt either except that it really hurts at times. So my c section is in 2 more weeks! :) YAY! I plan on working till November 9th just cause I know I will drive myself crazy just being at home with all her baby stuff and no baby! haha. I am scheduled to have her on Wednesday Nov. 14th at noon! So two weeks from now I will be on my way to the hospital! Funny because I have been longing for this moment and now that its getting closer I feel almost like it is not real! : ( : ) So I almost have all of my stuff packed I just cant pick an outfit for her because all her clothes is too cute! I am sure I will pick something cute. Well hope everyone is good! I cant believe it 37 weeks finally!!!

Hello girls!! So i had my 36 week appt. yesterday and all went well. I am still measuring 37 weeks. Baby's heart rate is very healthy and she was moving around for my doc to feel her. : ) Doctor checked my cervix and still NOTHING! : ) But I guess that is a good thing because she wants the baby to stay in there until my c section that is scheduled on 11/14. So other than that i go again on next Tues for my 37 week visit. Oh and I got my results for the Strep B test and it was NEGATIVE! So one less thing to worry about! So that was great news. Well I hope you are all doing well. I am counting down and I have 20 days left and my little sunshine will soon be here!

So this weekend I had another shower! It was awesome. This one was with just my party friends. It got a little wild. Haha! These are my girl and guy friends that me and my fiance would go out to clubs with or have get togethers with and party and so not the case anymore. LOL...So it was nice to see them all. There was tons of food, a HUGE cake and fun games!! My friend did such a great job preparing for it! : ) I loved the games she made the men play, lol...she made them play the bottle game (drinking the bottle the fastest) but she knew they wouldnt want to play so she used beer instead of Juice and tell me why not one of them said no? It was HILARIOUS!!! And she also blindfolded them and timed them changing a diaper the fastest (on a stuffed animal) haha, and my fiance won out of all of them and he was the one with no experience! It was a great time and I got some great gifts. : ) I cant wait for my last one that is on Thurs. I cant wait! 24 days left.

So my I scheduled my C-section on Nov 14th....I am getting excited but cant believe she will be here 3 1/2 weeks...It's a little nerve racking! : ) But at the same time I cant wait to hold her and see her little face! And not to mention, not be pregnant anymore! It get's so hard to be pregnant at this time. It's so uncomfortable and every day something new hurts, parts you never even thought would hurt.LOL...I will def not miss the swelling, crabiness, aches, pains, HUGE belly and big clothes! : ( But I think i will miss feeling the baby kicking inside of me, now she will just really be kicking me. Haha! Well I cant wait for this to be over. I see my doc again next Wednesday at 36 weeks. At that time I get the results of my Group B test. So hopefully that all went well. : )Well hope all you mommies are feeling okay and getting rest! We need it as in a few weeks we wont know what sleep is anymore. : ) God Bless all of you and your little babies on the way!

I had my 35 week appt today and everything is great. I have not yet started to dilate which is surprising because I have been having a lot of pressure and pains down there but I guess its a good thing I am not because I am not quite ready for my little one yet. She can come any time after next weekend because I still have two showers to go and a little bit of personal shopping to do for her as well. : ) I want every thing to be perfect. I already washed all of her blankets and clothes! WOW! Did that take forever and 5 loads later I was feeling the pain! LOL...; ) But anyway I wasnt able to schedule my c section because the scheduler was kinda booked so she will be calling me sometime today or tomorrow to schedule it. So we'll see. One thing that is strange is that I have only gained 14 lbs and at every visit i have been measuring on target but at this appt I started measuring at 37 weeks. Strange but the doc thinks its all baby! :) She said that in less than a week I will be back to my pre pregnancy weight which is def great news. I cant wait. Well I hope that all of you are doing great and feeling okay. We only have 4-5 weeks to go.

Well almost 35 weeks...just 2 days away. I have a doc appt on Wednesday and I cant wait to find out what day the c section will be even though I am super nervous about the entire thing i am starting to not worry as much. This weekend we got the crib and changing table and put it all together! I cant wait to see her in it. : ) I have my second shower this Saturday the 20th. This baby shower is Co-ed, even though the last one kind of was too, my BF is doing this one and she is making the guys play some of the games too! : ) So this should be interesting. Well I hope you are all doing well. I am doing okay besides the swelling, cramping and aches. Will update on Wednesday. : )

So....I had my 34 week visit yesterday and everything went well. My belly is measuring at 34 weeks and I start seeing the doc every week now until week 39 then....C SECTION! : ( I am a little nervous but anxious to have her. I cant stop buying things for her! So at my next appt I will get an internal examination and they will also check for Group B strep. They never checked for this when i had my son almost 7 years ago. Also, at my next appt I can schedule my c section! HOW EXCITING!!!??? I will know next Wednesday when i can have her! : ) I am seriosuly starting all my organizing and planning for the baby. My son is getting so excited about his little sis. He talks about her all the time. Well I will update when I have new news but as of now my princess will be here in about 4 1/2 weeks!

I have my 34 week appt today. I cant wait for my next visit in 2 more weeks because that is when we will be scheduling the C Section. I just want to know so that I can plan on what day will be my last one here at work. : ) I had my shower on Sunday and I got so much stuff. I have two more showers to go and then i can finish up my shopping. I have another shower on the 20th and one on the 27th. I just cant wait to have her and spend a few months at home with her! That will be great. Soon enough she will be here, I am enjoying this time right now with my fiance. We are spending a lot of time together and concentrating on us because we know that when the baby is here there wont be much alone time. Well i will update my page again after my appt.

OCTOBER 5TH, 2007

So this has been a long week! I am so tired lately (more than before) My feet are starting to swell a lot, and i cant seem to get my place clean enough. I clean everyday....Last night I decided to wash all bed sheets, floor mats and rugs and clean out my linen closet! What was I thinking!!?? After an 8 hour day at work I wanted to do all that. I guess i must be going through that nesting period! : ( But I have to say its a great feeling because I am doing this so that the house is perfect for the arrival of our princess! : ) I cant wait to hold her. I bought her a few sleepers yesterday on my lunch break. Kohl's has amazing sales right now! I think i have bought her too much already and i still have my showers coming up. But I am not buying everything 0-3 months I am buying up to 18 months so she will have plenty of clothes for a while. Well i have my 34 week appt on Wednesday the 10th. After that i go again in 2 weeks and then it's every week for about 2 weeks and than C section! How exciting..Well I will update after my doc appt! God Bless all you mommies! 32 WEEKS PREGGERS!!

Well I had my ultrasound yesterday and it was awesome! I loved every minute of it! I am 33 weeks tomorrow, and I have so much going on in the next month. One of the most exciting is this weekend on the 7th, it's my BABY SHOWER! So I can't wait....I really cant wait to start getting everything that I need. We've bought clothes and the crib and changing table and dresser, but nothing else because my mom keeps telling me to hold off until after my showers so that I know what I need. So I really cant wait to have all 3 of them so that way I can start my own shopping. Me and my fiance are ready to buy whatever she does not get since we have been saving like crazy since we found out we were expecting. Well at my U/S they said that the baby was right on track with her growth. She was measuring at 4lbs 5oz. And I will be having a scheduled Csection on the week of Nov. 12th. So I know time will fly and there is so much that I want to get done. I plan on working till the 9th of Nov since I sit all day and pretty much work at my own pace. But in between now and the 12th I have so much to get done. I want everything perfect for the arrival of my princess. Well I hope that all of you are doing great and hang in there we've almost made it to the end! : )
