Well i found out on January 28th that i am Pregnant with my third baby!!! I am due October 3rd.

Me any my hubby were not ttc but we are so excited to be adding on to our family!! We have a lil' boy who is 3 and a lil girl who just turned 1!! i'm kinda hoping for another lil' boy! Well my first doc. Apointment is on March 5th so i'll update again then!!

Febuary 10th 2008 (6weeks 2 days)

Well i think i just had my frist craving, lol, Cucumbers, black olives, crutons and ranch dressing...mmm...it was soo good..lol. This morning i tried to put my jeans on and they were snug!!! I dont believe this!! maternity clothes already??? i dont think ive gained any weight, ive probably lost some because i havent been eating all that well. Anyway last night i was having the worst cramps on my right side so i went to sleep and this morning they are gone..Thank god!! well untill next time!!!

February 27th 2008 (8weeks 5 days)

Well yesterday i went to the ER because i had some light spotting and cramping. After sitting in the waiting room for 6 hours they finally called me back. the Doc came in and gave me a pelvic exam and said my cervix is closed and firm, then he brought in the ultrasound machine and tried to see the baby, he could only see the sack but no baby, so he sent me down for another ultrasound where i found out that everything is fine!!! Thank god!!! i got worried!! Finaly after 10 hours at the ER i got to go homw!! This morning i woke up this the worst migraine ever!! i think puked my braines out!!! lol Good news is that its gone and the baby is ok!!!

I had my first doctors appointment yesterday and it went pretty well. The doctor said my blood pressure is a little high but nothing to worry about right now. So i'm just excited that everything is going well so far!!!

March 21st 2008 (12 weeks)

Well i'm 12 weeks today!!! It seems like the morning sickness has left!!! but i still cant eat, i'll make food and take like 3 bites and i'm full. oh well i guess it could be worse!! My next doctors appointment is on the 31st of this month and i'm anxious to go and hear the baby's heartbeat!!! Well i'll update later!!!

March 31st 2008 (13 weeks 3 days)

I had my doctors appointment today and we heard our baby's heartbeat for the first time!! everything is going well so far, my blood pressure went down since my last appointment so thats good. I am having some bleeding due to intercorse, but the doctor said that its because my cervix is tender.he suggested we not have sex for a little while only because it will worry me if i bleed again. well i have my first ultrasound and next doctors appointment on April 28th. i'm soooo excited to have the ultrasound, hopefully i can find out what i'm having!!

May 6th 2008 (18weeks 4days)

So i had my doctors appointment and ultrasound on the 28th and everything went fine!! i lost 2 pounds so thats a total of 7 lost so far. the doctor said thats fine as long as i'm not trying to loose the weight. the ultrasound was good except she couldnt tell what were having!! bummer!! oh well i get another ultrasound in about 7 weeks. other than that theres nothng much else to update on..next doctors appointment on may 28th!!!

May 28th 2008 (21 weeks 5days)

I went to my doctors appointment today and all went well. i gained 2 pounds ,which isnt bad, I'm still 5 pounds less then i was whe i got pregnant. I found out that i have to wait 7-8 weeks to have my next ultrasound.....i dont think i can wait that long to find out the sex......i need to know now!!!...lol....i'm going to try and talk my hubby into getting one of those 3d ultrasounds!! we'll see!!! Next appointment is june 25th!!!

June 22nd 2008 (25 weeks 2 days)

So i had my ultrasound yesterday and we found out that were having another GIRL!!!! i knew it!!!...lol...Not much else to update on, i have my doctors appointment on Wed. so i'll update again then!

June 25th 2008 (25weeks 5days)

I went to my doctors appointment today and everything is good! My blood pressure is good, and i gained 3 pounds. I got the order to go get the GD test so i have to do that within the next 2 weeks. The doc. said that i'm probably going to have another big baby (both of my other kids were over 9 lbs) so he is going to send me for another ultrasound probably around 35 weeks to see how big the baby is. He also said that i'm probably going to have to be induced around 38 weeks...I had both my son and daughter 11 days before my due date and they were already over 9 pounds, i'm kinda hoping for an 8 pounder this time...lol. well my next appointment is on july 23rd.

July 24th 2008 (29 weeks 6 days)

So i went to the doctors yesterday and it went ok. I failed the 1 hour GD test , by 5 stupid points, so i have to go and take the 3 hour one. I gained 5 pounds...not to bad i guess! He gave me the order for another ultrasound so i have that in two weeks. not much else to update on, just starting to get really uncomfortable. Next doctors appointment is on August 6th!

August 11th 2008 (32weeks 3days)

I had my Doctors appointment last Wed. and everything went well. Blood pressure is good and i lost 1/2 a pound...dont ask me how i've been eating like a cow...lol. I had a ultrasound last thursday to see how big the baby is and she is measuring 2 weeks ahead at 4lbs 11oz!! i kinda figured she would be close to 5 pounds. The lady also said that she is breech...not to worried though she has plenty of time to flip around. Next doctors appointment is on August 18th!

August 21st 2008 (33weeks and 6days!!!)

So i had my doctors appointment on monday and everythink went ok!! my BP is good and i lost 3 pounds..once again i dont know how but its fine with me..so i'm at the same weight i was when i got pregnant!! the doc said the baby is around 6 pounds by now and is still breech!!! she better hurry up and turn her little butt around..lol!!! i really dont want to have a c-section on my last baby!!! The doc didnt seemed worried and said she still has plenty of time to turn! My next doctors appointment is on sept. 3rd..i'll be 35 weeks!!! i cant believe how fast this is going!!

September 3rd 2008 (35 weeks 5 days)

So i had my doctors appointment today and it didnt go so great. I gained 4 pounds and my blood pressure was a bit high at 158/88. He wasn't all that worried but he sent me to the hospital to have a Non-stress test and to get some lab work done. Everything came back normal so i got to come home. He told me that i need to take it easy and watch my salt intake because i'm pretty swollen. i also found out that the baby is no longer breech but she is transverse....so hopefully she is on her way down..lol. My next doctors appointment is on the 10th!!!

Its funny. Before I had my first...I wanted you know 2 kids at the most....then I had him and I thought okay maybe 3. Now that I have had my second...Im like 4 is not TOO bad...LOL its an addiction. If only they could stay little just a little longer :)

I was so worried about all my friends in the lower states when hurricane Ike was coming that I never thought I was going to have to worry about myself. On Sunday Sepetember 14 the left over storm hit Louisville Kentucky. **WE DO TORNADOES HERE NOT HURRICANES** Over 75 percent of the city lost electricity due to severe wind damage. I tree has fallen into my house and we still do not have power at this time. I will be back as soon as possible. Congrats to the mommies that have had babies and Congrats to all the new mommies!!

That happened to me 2 weeks ago- I was having contractions every 2-3 minutes for a few hours before I went in and since I just moved here and hadn't been seen by a doc in a while or registered at the hospital they gave me an IV for dehydration and 2 shots to stop the contractions (which SUCKED). They checked me and said I was about 1cm dilated and they monitored me and the baby for a while and sent me on my way after a few hours once the contractions stopped. I knew going in to the hospital it wasn't time, but better to go and figure it out :)

There are lots of ways to try and get a breech baby to turn on her own, like shining a flashlight by her head and moving downwards, or putting a cold pack by her head and a heating pad by your pelvis. One of the most effective methods is a bit more uncomfortable, I did it with my 4th baby and it worked like a charm though. It's called the slant board. You take an ironing board and prop it up on the couch or a chair on one side (just make sure that it's secure). then you put a pillow one the floor side and straddle the board. With some help lay down so that your feet are up on the higher side and your head is towards the floor. You will probably feel a little light headed, this is normal. You stay this way for about 10-15 minutes and then have someone help you up. This is supposed to dislodge the baby's bum from your pelvic bones. Then when you get up, gravity should help the baby's head to fall downwards, getting her to turn. You should walk around for about 15 minutes afterwards, and if you feel a swishy sort of feeling like the baby turning, then do some squating to help her head move into the pelvis. You can do this twice a day if you need to, morning and evening. I did this once and didn't really feel anything, but went to get checked the next day, and he had turned! If you have a home doppler or just a stethascope, you can have someone listen for the baby's heartbeat, which should be up high - before you start, and then listen again after you try the slant board or any other method, and see if it's down lower. Oh, you can also play hard rock realy loud by her head, and see if she moves away from it. I know someone who did this when she was in labor, and the baby turned! Good Luck!!
