Im Charlise. Im 20 years old. My Boyfriend and I found out were expecting our first baby!! Its a little girl! =] It was totally unplanned yet NOT unwanted. Family and friends are so excited. We are both truly blessed to be given the opportunity to be parents

My boyfriend is a Cpl in the Marine Corps. He is now deployed to Iraq untill Nov/Dec. Its his first deployment and our first together. Which makes things pretty hard yet Im truly blessed for having him in my life...even when hes so far he gives me all the love and support I could ever ask for. Before he left together we got to see the first ultrasound and hear the heartbeat.

yeah the room came out REALLY good! i was so happy. i could just picture her laying there in the crib, and it was so overwhelming knowing that's where we're bringing our baby home to! its so exciting.

I love being at home, it's fun.....you do what you want when you want. It's great....I never have a schedule. On the downside its harder b/c with only 1 income it's hard to get the things you need but we make it!

I felt the same way you did when I was contemplating marrying my hubby now. We lived together for 9 months before we got married. You need to live with him first b/c if you can do that then you will be fine.

I hope this helps....you will be fine!! PROMISE!! Even if you don't last, you have a beautiful little girl that you will have to parent together regardless.

The Marine Corps will let you live together but you won't be able to live on base together. If the base has housing for him there they won't give him the housing allowance to live out in town if you aren't married. If you get married then you will be able to live wherever you want. You could live on base or they will give you money for rent in town.

You should tell him to do recruiters duty after he gets back and move to Upstate NY. You will only be a car ride from Ohio. Then we can get together with the babies!!

I hear ya. I have him on a short chain, or so I think. It's just getting rediculous. It's not like they make that much money in the corps even though they act as if they make millions.

I don't know what I would do without this website. It keeps me sane!

it was nice. Steven painted the baby's room and set up the crib and changing table while i was gone standing duty, and surprised me with it when i came home! it was so sweet.

That's so awesome!! I wish I was in my 3rd trimester. Working is completely overrated. If my hubby would stop spending every last penny we had I wouldn't have to look LOL.

I went to school full-time and worked when I was pregnant with my son. It was hard work, I know how you feel...it's horrible. The end is near though!!

sadly, the lotion sucks! every kind is not really workin.. i mean i have totally totally seen worse stretch marks but it must be true that when they say you cant prevent them you really cant. its a bummer tho... i didnt want them but its just my luck i guess. letmeknwo when you decide on a name i cant wait to know!!! less than 100 days to go for you now! so how ya doin? im not gonna ask you how your feeling, i wanted to rip everyones head off who asked me that from 20 weeks on... untilnow only cuz i went into preterm labor an people wanna know how im doing lol.. but if that didnt happen i would be biting my tonuge an saying "great" but thinking " what the f do you think... this big ol' thing infront of my belly, no sleep, waddling, stretch marks, come on!" lol pregnancywas greatuntil about 32 weeks i would say then thats when all the uncomftorable things start to happen...unfortunatly lol. i so cant wait to sleep on my stomach again! man i miss that lol

We are going to name his Charles Wade Ray III (obviously after my hubby) and if it's a girl we aren't sure yet. I like the name Molly.

I'm sure you wish he could come home but I'm sure he'd rather be gone for those nasty mood swings LOL. And plus since he wasn't around this time for the whole pregnancy he's probably going to be more willing to have MORE LOL.

It was crazy when the music calmed down my little one. I was like "OMG, he remembers the music!!" I'm counting down the days till I can find out what I'm having!! I'm so excited!

We are doing good. I used to have my son listen to Dave Matthews Band. When he was about 18 months he started throwing a fit in the car so I put Dave Matthews on and he instantly stopped crying....it was funny. My daughter listened to country music too. She has to have it playing now in her bedroom when she goes to sleep for naps and at night. If the radio isn't on, she won't go to sleep LOL.

It took us forever to find a name we both liked. Don't worry, you still have plenty of time!

yeah join the stretch mark club, it only gets worse... lol mine arnt that bad at all but once i noticed i was getting them i started the lotion twice a day. Right when i get out of the shower an then when i am in bed about to go to sleep an i find that it helps to do that more than anything, an you have to be constant an not miss a day lol. i love your names they are adorable! i havnt seen anyone name a baby savannah in a while so thats prob my fav, my really good friend just named her baby ur other name but i like them both! im glad you guys are doin good!

We didn't decide on a name until I was about 28 weeks or so.

I can't believe you are 26 weeks already and I'm already 14!! This pregnancy is actually going by pretty quickly for me. THANK GOD!!

You better ask them to special order you a desk. LOL. As for the "fat" desk. I'm sure they can find you a table. LOL....but seriously, I'm sure you will be fine!!!

yep, that's how Steven was. he was so set on BOTH of us agreeing on a name, but EVERYTHING i said he hated. so i was being nice and would consider and come up with others but those werent good enough for him either.
i started getting fed up and would fight with him about it. it just didnt seem fair, that i'm the one giving birth and going through pregnancy and labor and yet MY name choices are just OUT because he doesnt "care" for them? why should III be the one to settle for my choice being a middle name??
idk HOW i finally got my way but after about the 50 billionth fight with that same argument, he gave in....good luck! just stand your ground if you want it that bad! what about using HIS choice for a middle name?

lol. yeah i FINALLY got my way with the first name, but now i want my way with the middle name too because i obviously wanted to name her after Elvis, so i want her middle name to match his too so it would be "Presley Aaron Rios" but noooo he doesnt like that name and always says "Well you got the FIRST name and the deal was IIII get to pick the MIDDLE name!!" so i just have to be patient, but geez, i want to tell him he's not allowed anymore, he's taking too long and being too ridiculous!
