Im Charlise. Im 20 years old. My Boyfriend and I found out were expecting our first baby!! Its a little girl! =] It was totally unplanned yet NOT unwanted. Family and friends are so excited. We are both truly blessed to be given the opportunity to be parents

My boyfriend is a Cpl in the Marine Corps. He is now deployed to Iraq untill Nov/Dec. Its his first deployment and our first together. Which makes things pretty hard yet Im truly blessed for having him in my life...even when hes so far he gives me all the love and support I could ever ask for. Before he left together we got to see the first ultrasound and hear the heartbeat.

Yeah you aren't kidding. I think I was 7 or 8 weeks and now i'm 24 and you're almost due. It's crazy. It's wierd though b/c it's like I know you and we've been friends forever. It's really nice.

I remember being where you are....ready for that baby to come out!! You get to the point where you are just SICK and TIRED of being pregnant LOL.

Isn't it amazing how stupid people manage to work their way into every aspect of life... I swear it's some giant conspiracy. Just wait until you have to start dealing with Tricare... that's a nightmare!

I just started working with a doula to try and up the odds of having a natural childbirth and she told me some things about my hospital that scare the you know what out of me. Things like in with all of your registration paperwork they make you sign something that says they can administer pitocin without asking your permission... Grr! I have an appointment with my midwife today so I have lots of questions for her.

I'm so excited for you. I bet you'll have Rayna before I have (Roland). I'm convinced we're having a boy and that's the name my Hubby and I have been able to agree on. What do you think?

Have you recorded any of the heartbeat noises while you've been at the doctors? I know some people that recorded it on their phone so they have it as their ringer now.

So what did Justin get you for your shower? Something pink I hope!

We definitely have to stick together that is for sure!!! Don't be suprised if your man acts differently when he comes home. It doesn't have anything to do with you it has everything to do with where he's been, or he'll be just fine. My friend's hubby came home in May and it took him until the end of July to act "normal."

You're getting so close now that I'm excited and it's not even my baby LOL. I'm nuts I know but I feel like we've gotten so close just talking over this thing. I wish I could be there with ya coaching you the whole way through your labor. If you had me there you'd do it all natural...promise!!! Its really not that bad, it's painful but not the end of the world. Rayna is going to be GORGEOUS!!

Good for you. I'm sure not having to be in a stressful work environment will be good for you and the baby. Ugh don't you hate it when online classes seem to suck up your entire life! I had one like that and I was so pissed. I mean I took the class because there were other things I had to do. Blah!

25 pounds is great! I mean you figure 15+ of that is baby and water and what not and if you breastfeed even for a couple weeks you'll lose whatever's left in no time. By the time Justin gets home he won't even be able to tell you were pregnant... aside from his beautiful daughter being in the world.

That is so sweet that Justin sent you flowers and a gift for your shower. I bet planning that took his mind off of where he is for a little while : )

My weekend was good. We had some friends over Friday night and then ran errands all day Saturday and then we had "mandatory fun" a required Marine Corps group picnic thing on Sunday so yah... But we're leaving for Williamsburg this Friday to spend a little time relaxing and being together before things get stressful.

The baby is still moving ALOT and showing no real signs of making its entrance any time soon... which is just fine with me. I've had a few more BH/period like cramps this week but nothing exciting.

Well i'm glad that you got the things that you needed. About the people at family jobs and services....that is why they work there. They have to be IDIOTS LOL. I deal with the same idiots when I had to apply for WIC. I swear they have 2 brain cells and that is pushing it LOL.

You look adorable in your pics. So what did Justin send you?? I saw balloons and a package, what was in it?? What a sweetheart he is!! You better keep him and take good care of him :)

i'm glad you got what you needed! have you started washing everything? i washed all her clothes and it feels so good! lol my mom said i shouldnt until i know for SURE that its a girl bc i wont be able to return what doesnt have tags on them, so i was all paranoid that she could be a boy! i had an u/s and they said she still looks like a girl, so THAT NIGHT i started washing everything. man let me tell you it was like an itch that needed to be scratched! lol
now her room is ready and we're just waiting on her bedding that my sisters ordered for us.
my shower was really nice my sister went all out and had it decorated so cute, and we got pretty much everything we needed plus ALOT of clothes! it was really fun

So this is your last week huh? I bet you're getting excited to not be so tired at the end of the day.

I'm sorry to hear that your hormones are going so nuts. It's really hard to deal with especially when you know it's your hormones talking and not you, but you can't keep from being pissy anyway.

I'm just getting sick of people saying "so I bet you can't wait to have that baby"... really I'm lucky and I'm still pretty comfortable so I always answer no and they just look at me like I'm insane! Oh well only 4 more weeks until the due date and then sometime around there I'll know if I have a son or a daughter. Yay!!! How was your shower? I love the dress you wore it's so cute!

Yeah me either. I'm just pretty much all belly. I can see that i've gained a couple pounds in my face but that's about it. I have a "ghetto booty" anyways so I don't see the change LOL.

Just an idea for you that maybe you can whisper in his ear. There is a website and i'll have to ask my hubby where he bought my ring. It was sold at wholesale not retail. My ring was appraised at $9,000.00 and he paid $2,000.00 for it. LOL. Our wedding rings we got on sale as well. Gotta save where you can but he was insistent that I had a nice size rock.

You aren't that big, I promise. I'm huge as well. It's all good though, you're going to be holding a beautiful little girl with an insanely long last name very soon LOL.

really?? wow, that's crazy! how exciting!! hopefully she wont be late, so you can have her soon! wow, that's so crazy, it finally feels close, huh?
we're doing fine! my dr is gonna check my cervix in 2 wks (at 36 wks for me) to see if its started to soften yet, and if not then he's gonna start manipulating so it will start and i can maybe have her a week early! i'm so excited! i cant wait.
the only thing is she's still breech

she has 3 wks to turn or else the dr is gonna do it FOR her, and i hear that hurts, so i'm PRAYING she does it on her own!
Steven is doing good too, he's getting really excited and cant wait either. its back to just me and him, my SIL is back at her home, so its been nice just us two again.

Don't worry the hormones are getting to you and homesickness is getting to Justin. Things will be fine. He has no one to take out his feeling on but you, i'm sure he's not doing it to be mean or nasty, he just misses home. It will be fine once he's home!!

Thanks about the comment on my belly......it's alot bigger but the camera made it look smaller. I will take another one today so you can really see it. LOL.

Oh my rock......LOL I LOVE IT. It's a total of 2.86 carats!! I have my engagment ring and 2 wedding bands. Hubby said he wanted to make sure people knew I was married...I can barely bend that finger, it's really annoying. I'll post a pic of it so you can really see it (and get some ideas)!!

I feel your frustration completely.

I finished the baby's room the night before I went into labor. It was wierd.

I'm good today. It's nice and cool here today (70) so it's tolerable for once LOL. At least it's not raining like it has been for the past 2 weeks.

Aww, thats a good sign, that means the baby is starting to drop into place, some women just feel it more then others. i didnt. Try using a belly belt, it should help ease the discomfort and use alot of cocoa butter to help reduce the stretch marks, they will be worse cause the baby is dropped so low. Hows is your hubby doing? hopefully all is well. Hit me up and let me know how all is going

Sounds like you've had a horrible day and are in good need of a nice bath and some relaxation. Your sister would really piss me off....royally!! You have every right pregnant or not to feel the way you do about her. She's just taking you for a ride and obviously has no respect for you whatsoever. I wouldn't let her drive my car!! I don't like smoking either and I can't STAND it in my car, the smell takes FOREVER to get out of seats and the burn marks....NO THANK YOU! I would tell her to FUCK OFF and if her car is "broken" either get it fixed or RENT ONE! LOL.

Justin wasn't trying to be mean and yes, the hormones are getting the best of you but don't worry. He would love you regardless!! I'm mean all he sees in Iraq are a bunch of women completely covered up and SAND LOL. Of course he wants you to look good, but he will just have to wait for some time!! You are having a beautiful little girl and I PROMISE that you will get your body back in no time. You are young and it will bounce back!!!

Just relax and don't let the small stuff get you so upset!! I wish I could give you a hug!!

I'm sorry to hear your so uncomfortable. Have you quit your job? I can't imagine having to be on my feet all day... I'd have to run to the bathroom every 15 minutes

I bet you're going to get so much cute pink stuff for your little Rayna next Sunday. Hopefully you'll get lots of gift cards and or diapers too!
