Im Charlise. Im 20 years old. My Boyfriend and I found out were expecting our first baby!! Its a little girl! =] It was totally unplanned yet NOT unwanted. Family and friends are so excited. We are both truly blessed to be given the opportunity to be parents

My boyfriend is a Cpl in the Marine Corps. He is now deployed to Iraq untill Nov/Dec. Its his first deployment and our first together. Which makes things pretty hard yet Im truly blessed for having him in my life...even when hes so far he gives me all the love and support I could ever ask for. Before he left together we got to see the first ultrasound and hear the heartbeat.

Thursday, 26 June Yeah I don't know how I would feel about the MIL watching the baby all the time for you. Although you'd save lots of money on daycare I couldn't handle the "advice" and what not I'm sure she would be giving you even if you didn't ask. Then the baby has a diaper rash and she'll think you're beating her or something. LOL.
The help would be nice every once in a while. Maybe you could go back to the university part-time or take some night classes. When Justin got home from work he could watch her while you went to night school or something. It will all work out in time.
I hear ya on going to the bathroom 5x an hour. I wake up at least 4 times at night go pee and it's very annoying. I feel like i don't sleep at all!!! BrittanyNmatts1st -
Thursday, 26 June oh yeah i love love love pillows! lol hahah oh you jut wait lol your gonna grunt just to reach for something hahaha. i do the same thing you do tho its hard... i ws in the car with my mom yesterday an i dropped my water bottle, an i bent down to try an get it an i just seriously couldnt reach it to save my damn life! she was laughing at me so hard an im like "its not funny!!!" hahaha it was tho.
oh thats good that you get to talk all the time, my stepdad has been in japan working for the past 10 weeks so my moms havin a hard time to but she IM's like you guys do.. i cant imagine, an specically for how long hes going to be gone for, that would be the hardest thing ever! are you video taping the birth so he can see when he comes home? marinewife8412 -
Wednesday, 25 June The pain in my tummy has subsided since I had something to eat and lots of water. I think possibly I was a little bit dehydrated. Make sure you keep yourself hydrated b/c whenever I called the dr with contractions they said I was dehydrated and more often then not I was completely hydrated. They irritate me towards the last months.
I worked for awhile as well. I worked until I had my last one but when I saw how much it was going to cost with child care I decided it was worth it to stay home. With gas prices on the rise it was going to COST money for me to work. I would bring home NOTHING. It was rediculous. I planned on going back to work in Sept when my oldest starts kindergarten but I don't want to put Samantha in daycare so I can work for 4 months before the next baby is born LOL. Doesn't make much sense to me!! Did you start your "coffee" job yet?? *Baby-Mine* -
Wednesday, 25 June aww, he just wants to be with you....and knock you up again!! lol jk!
*Baby-Mine* -
Wednesday, 25 June thanks :/
i feel huge! lol and its so low! mommyleek -
Wednesday, 25 June Glad to hear everything is doing well. When I was pregnant with my first I use to eat a handful of m&m's and within about 10 minutes he was moving all over the place! *Baby-Mine* -
Wednesday, 25 June i'm gonna breastfeed. ugh it just sunk in that im gonna have to leave her after 6 weeks, and other people will be able to feed her,and i was so sad thinking she'll be confused and not want me to breastfeed her when i get the chance and i'm so worried she'll prefer others to me. especially my SIL!! oh man i feel like a mama bear and dont want another girl NEAR her! lol horrible i know! *Baby-Mine* -
Wednesday, 25 June yeah that's true, i'd probably wait too. is your bf planning on sending you any money for her or something? if that's too personal a question you dont have to answer! sorry! lol
i know its dumb but i even get nervous about Steven watching her! and i KNOW i'm just being paranoid because i know he would NEVER do anything to hurt her, but you know, that's what people always say and then you hear about Shaken Baby Syndrome, and oh my gosh, i just get so scared. i've already told him, "Ok, if you EVER for any reason feel like you just cant handle her WHATEVER the reason is, just bring her to work with me, i wont be mad, and it wont be a big deal, they'll let her stay with me and give you a break, and we only live right down the street so dont try to deal with it on your own!!"
then he thinks i'm crazy and that i dont trust him, but man its hard thinking of anyone else taking care of her since i have her all to myself right now. and i KNOW what i'd do and what i wouldnt do, but how can you say for SURE what someone else will/will not do? you know?

Wednesday, 25 June i only get 6 weeks
can you believe the girls in Canada and the UK get 9 mos to a YEAR?! that is so unfair!! we should get a long time too!
Steven is gonna stay home with her while i'm at work. i am too paranoid to put her in daycare, after all the horror stories of what happens to kids when you leave them with people you dont know, HELL NO!! i couldnt do it, especially a little baby, no thank you! *Baby-Mine* -
Wednesday, 25 June i would LOVE to go to Japan! i have family out there, and would like to meet them one day, but i guess i should learn Japanese first! lol *Baby-Mine* -
Wednesday, 25 June that's not too bad, but i guess with a new baby it will be difficult. you can do it though. my sis just got her BA and she has 2 kids, so it DEFENITELY can be done! lol marinewife8412 -
Wednesday, 25 June You have lots of decisions to make and some time to think about it. You need to do what's going to be good for you and your baby. It's about the baby now and then you LOL. AHAHAHAHA you come 2nd LOL.
This morning is rediculous. I can't get this damn baby to nap. She's learned to pull herself up to stand in her crib so now when she doesn't want to go to sleep she will stand up and cry. I don't care about that but it's the fact that she can't figure out how to get down from that position to go to sleep. It's driving me CRAZY!!
My tummy is really killing me today. I have all kinds of abdominal cramps. I'm going to give the dr. a call this afternoon if it doesn't stop. I don't feel right. *Baby-Mine* -
Wednesday, 25 June yeah that's true about every base being different.
i know with the Navy if the sponsor gets stationed overseas, the dependants have to stay behind, married or not. i mean you COULD take them over with you, they cant stop you, but they wont give you the extra allowances for them. they give you a "seperation" allowance and housing allowance for the family left behind, but not to live over there. so they try not to put sponsors with families overseas as much as they can. i think that's stupid, but i think they just dont want to be responsible for the family in a different country. idk.
how much school do you have left til you get your BA? marinewife8412 -
Wednesday, 25 June Yeah that does sound kind of gross but the good thing is that you will loose all this weight after the baby is born which gives you more reason to become a "fatty." LOL
I remember being in class pregnant. It was horrific. I had to always have something to eat and drink by me b/c of being nauseous all the time.
How is your man doing?? I have a good friend in Iraq right now. He called me yesterday. I almost didn't recognize him voice, I felt so bad!!! *Baby-Mine* -
Wednesday, 25 June oh really? that sucks. my SIL is staying with us and i thought they wouldnt let her on either since she's not my dependant, but they said she just has to fill out a "Guest form" or something like that.
at least he'll get extra housing allowance for the baby marinewife8412 -
Wednesday, 25 June Yeah we totally would be!! All I do is sit around all day and snack...it's horrible. I'm doomed to be like 300 pounds LOL marinewife8412 -
Wednesday, 25 June That's funny b/c I was craving Burger King onion rings!!
We are too much alike LOL
I'm going to give them a call later today if I don't feel better. marinewife8412 -
Wednesday, 25 June Yeah me too. It just makes me nervous b/c I had preterm labor with both of my kids at 28 weeks and if I'm starting this shit at 15 weeks I'm going to have problems later in my pregnancy. I thought that staying home and not working would lower my stress level so it wouldn'thappen again but I'm starting to believe that it's just my body and it doesn't like being pregnant. LOL.
That's wierd that we both didn't feel good this morning. After I ate something I felt a little bit better but I'm still nauseous. This sucks!! *Baby-Mine* -
Wednesday, 25 June oh that's cool. that's what my mom, me and 2 of my sisters do throughout our work days! lol we hardly get anything done. thats good you get to talk to him.
are you guys gonna live on base, or in town? marinewife8412 -
Wednesday, 25 June I hated computer classes!! I always proficiencied out of them b/c they were horrible. I took an IT class and that was torturous!!
Are you still getting pizza at the place the guy thought you were "getting fat" b/c you were eating pizza all the time? LOL
I'm so nauseous this morning and last night I was having contractions.....totally not good. I've been getting them alot lately. If I have more today I'm calling the doctor tomorrow. =( *Baby-Mine* -
Wednesday, 25 June lol i do the same thing!! the guys at work always crack up when they catch me bending down to pick something up, because it always comes with noise! they find it so amusing, and you'd think they'd rush to help me get it, but no! i think they're too entertained!!lol
how's your man doing over there? marinewife8412 -
Wednesday, 25 June Well now you know. I used to drink a large glass of a sugary juice with some graham crackers or a granola bar (whichever you prefer) and lay down. They usually wake up quite quickly!! If you are down for reading a book that is GREAT get "What to Expect When Expecting." It has lots of good advice, but I'm probably better!! LOL. You have my number, DO NOT hesitate to call me even if you think it's stupid!! I'm glad the baby is fine!
