About ME!

First I want to say congratulations to all the beautiful pregnant women on this site.

My name is Melissa and I'm 25 years old. I have a wonderful husband who is in the Marine Corps. and 2 beautiful children. Aiden is 4 1/2 and Samantha is 6 months old. I am currently pregnant with our 3rd little one and am due on December 14th. I found out I was pregnant on April 13th when my period was almost 1 week late. My husband was away in California for training so it came as a shock to both of us. It was an exciting shock because we knew that we wanted at least another one, but I don't think we were trying to have them as close together as they are going to be. There is only going to be 13 1/2 months between the 2 youngest!! I'm sure I am going to have my hands full, but I don't mind. My husband makes enough money so that I can stay at home with my children which I am so greatful for. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Right now I am 8 weeks pregnant and so far this pregnancy has been nothing like my other 2. When I was pregnant with my son I had some morning sickness where I would feel like I was going to throw up in the morning but after I ate something I was fine the rest of the day. I didn't have any other problems until around my 28th week when I went into preterm labor. They stopped it (thank god) and I ultimately had him at a little over 38 weeks on August 29, 2003 weighing 6 lbs 10 oz. and 19 3/4 inches.

As for the little princess I only had 1 week of morning sickness and worked throughout my pregnancy all the way to again....28 weeks when I went into preterm labor with her. They stopped it (thank god) and I had her just like my son at a little over 38 weeks but on October 26, 2007 weighing 6 lbs. 10 oz. and 19 3/4 inches.

You might think as you read this that I have typo but both my children weighed the same and were the exact same length. I also went into preterm labor with them during the same week of pregnancy.

Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her
down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop
the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important
and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to
make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the
wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

IT'S A GIRL........AGAIN!!!

I moved my pregnancy journal to blogs to save some room!!

Thanks for the photo comment! We're not finding out the sex..... so it's going to be a nice suprise here in just 20 more weeks.... pretty exciting but it does drive me nuts every once in awhile not knowing!
So strange that everyone is saying boy. hmm.... my family is saying girl, lots of people on here say boy. I can't wait to see for myself!

ready4mygirl - Tuesday, 7 October
I know the feeling I am so tired. I went to bed at 3:00 in the morning and got up at 7:45. I laid back back down until 8:30 and it has been a long day. I had a test today and I have another one tomorrow. Tomorrow will be an even longer day... I am there until 8:30 at night. Wedsnday will be a short day though. I came home today and dinner was done, the house was spotless, and Jaden was in the tub. I looked at Adam and said " you gotta fever or somethin?" Needless to say it was nice but getting Madi to go to sleep was like tearing a boob off. Now it is tiime to relax. Hopefully tomorrow is just as good for the both of us.

yeaah sometimes I don't know how I do it !

ready4mygirl - Monday, 6 October
HAHAHA that is so funny. My hubby would know immediately if I rubbed some shit on him.He has a great since of smell and will rarely change Madi if she is shitty... but it is funny to imagine it happening. Those losers lol. I have been drinking alot of water today and I am feeling okay so far. I am in between classes right now. How is your day? I sure hope the kids get over that cold soon. Hopefully this will be their only cold this season.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

I have never done anything real horrible to him...yet. I have never spit in his food or nothing. I never would that is nasty. Although it is fun to imagine doing it when you are pissed. Turning the cold water on when they are in the shower is always fun That sucks that both of the kids are sick again uggh... I hate this time of year too. Jaden has a cold as well. Just a cough at night and a runny nose though . I still have the cold I caught from him. I am wheezy and coughing up junk. I have had it for a good 1.5 weeks. I am going to get ready and off to school I go. My last class of the day lets out at 7:20. It's going to be a long day

ready4mygirl - Monday, 6 October
Yeah, my hubby told me he isn't addicted to video games...his asshole hurts!! He spends an average of 40 hours a week on it. Your hubby probably thinks he isn't addicted to his game either.. his asshole hurts too lol. Next time we sweep the floor we should sprinkle the contents of the floor on their food. My husband eats so fast he would never know lol. I know I am terrible. One year for April fools day he was craving oreo cookies. I scraped all of the icing out of them and replaced it with white tooth paste. He thought they were mint flavored. HAHA he was so mad when I told him it was tooth paste. I am mean but he pisses me off so it feels good to do mean things to him that won't kill him lol. You should try it ( if you haven't already) and knowing you you probably have lol. You probably spit in your hubby's pop or something. Come on admit it lol

ready4mygirl - Monday, 6 October
I swear my hubby and your hubby would get along real well. What I hate the most is when I spend all day cleaning and the next day it looks like it wasn't touched. My contractions have slowed down alilltle. Hopefully yours do too. i have a long ass day in school tomorrow... that I am not looking foward to.

ready4mygirl - Monday, 6 October
That is what I do w/ Jaden. He is weird. He will eat chicken legs, chicken patties, wings and nuggets, but he will not eat chicken breasts. He gags and says he can't swallow it. I have been having contractions on and off since this morning. I must be dehydrated or something.

ready4mygirl - Sunday, 5 October
I remind him that all the time. His real dad is not apart of his life so Adam is all he has as a father figure. He says he loves him and all but sometimes I find that hard to believe b/c he is always just waiting for him to do something wrong so he can punish him, and to me that is not right. We argue alot over it. Jaden is a very picky eater... if he has never tried something he will say he doesnt like it or refuse to try it. It is pathetic and it is bullshit, but how I handle it is oh well it is your tummy not mine, if you don't eat ... no snack, his choice. I am glad samantha is doing okay

haileyc - Sunday, 5 October
You are SOOO lucky! I have a fat butt, so my jeans no longer fit. Super sad face for me! I'm feeling good... I'm going camping tomorrow (sunday) and I'll be coming back on Tuesday. But I'm not really "roughing it" because I'll be sleeping on an air mattress (in a tent) and the place has flushing toilets and warm showers. I'm excited because the place is beautiful. How are you feeling?

dossfirstchild - Sunday, 5 October
Well that sucks...i'm definitely going to have to stick to bottle then...since i go back to work in about a month anyhow... :(

I'm so excited though...I go to Puerto Rico in Nov :D I havent been there in like 4 yrs and i'm so happy...baby is going to meet all the family and her grandpa...well maybe meet him...

ready4mygirl - Sunday, 5 October
I wish I can get away from my hubby for a week sometimes. The only thing I would probably miss is the sex. I honestly sometimes think my husband does not like my son. He is always wanting to punish him for EVERY little thing. For instance if he doesn't eat all of his dinner he wants to send him to bed, or ground him to his room for anything and everything. he is always snapping, yelling or cussing at him. I am sick of it.

thehudsons - Sunday, 5 October
Hey there, How have you been feeling???

ready4mygirl - Sunday, 5 October
HAHAHA my hubby does that too. It is pathetic. A cool mist vaporizer might help loosen everything up.Or some vics baby rub. Poor little thing What did the Dr say this time? Hubby is being a dick b/c I am " bitching at him, he wants to play his game all day and there are things he can do around the house. Isn't that typical?

ready4mygirl - Saturday, 4 October
How is your day going? Besides my husband being a DICK mine is going pretty good. He is not speaking to me right now lol he thinks I give a good fuck. i am waiting on my step dad to bring Madison home. How is Samantha?

jayrodmarie22 - Saturday, 4 October
Thanks to everyone who commented on feeling there baby's movements .. It was interesting to find out that alomst everone is feeling there baby's move. Thanks jayxo

ready4mygirl - Saturday, 4 October
Yes it is good she is not wheezing. If she isn't gasping for air anymore, or looking/getting worse she is more than likely fine I got to sleep in today. My mom kept Madison last night. I think maybe I slept to long b/c I am still tired.

ready4mygirl - Saturday, 4 October
Yeah, it's just that little ones can get so sick so easily. Some of the things that aren't serious for us can be life threatening for them... so I just don't take any chances with my kids and I advise others to do the same. I sure hope she feels better soon. Poor baby give her a kiss and a squeeze for me.
