About ME!

First I want to say congratulations to all the beautiful pregnant women on this site.

My name is Melissa and I'm 25 years old. I have a wonderful husband who is in the Marine Corps. and 2 beautiful children. Aiden is 4 1/2 and Samantha is 6 months old. I am currently pregnant with our 3rd little one and am due on December 14th. I found out I was pregnant on April 13th when my period was almost 1 week late. My husband was away in California for training so it came as a shock to both of us. It was an exciting shock because we knew that we wanted at least another one, but I don't think we were trying to have them as close together as they are going to be. There is only going to be 13 1/2 months between the 2 youngest!! I'm sure I am going to have my hands full, but I don't mind. My husband makes enough money so that I can stay at home with my children which I am so greatful for. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Right now I am 8 weeks pregnant and so far this pregnancy has been nothing like my other 2. When I was pregnant with my son I had some morning sickness where I would feel like I was going to throw up in the morning but after I ate something I was fine the rest of the day. I didn't have any other problems until around my 28th week when I went into preterm labor. They stopped it (thank god) and I ultimately had him at a little over 38 weeks on August 29, 2003 weighing 6 lbs 10 oz. and 19 3/4 inches.

As for the little princess I only had 1 week of morning sickness and worked throughout my pregnancy all the way to again....28 weeks when I went into preterm labor with her. They stopped it (thank god) and I had her just like my son at a little over 38 weeks but on October 26, 2007 weighing 6 lbs. 10 oz. and 19 3/4 inches.

You might think as you read this that I have typo but both my children weighed the same and were the exact same length. I also went into preterm labor with them during the same week of pregnancy.

Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her
down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop
the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important
and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to
make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the
wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

IT'S A GIRL........AGAIN!!!

I moved my pregnancy journal to blogs to save some room!!

Adam was being a dick last night too. Sorry if I am getting too personal, but do you leak that colostrum shit? I do, I have had it since 9 weeks with this one. If I take my bra off my entire shirt is soaked, or when I have sex. It has been like that for all of my pregnancies. It sucks. I have a friend that is 36 weeks and she isn't leaking it at all... thats not fair, I wish I was like that. I have been in public when they started leaking, its pretty embarrassing

That is going to be hard on gas. I don't like driving big vehicles. Just out of curiousity how much is gas a gallon in NY? It is currently $2.93 a gallon. 2 weeks ago it was $3.89.

It sounds like its not a yeast infection just probably a nasty rash. Hydrocortizone cream may help. A+D ointment works really good too. I hope it clears up soon. YES they are gone YAY! They left last night. My hubby started jumping and yelling woohoo! He is such a dork. Today has been pretty good... just relaxing. How about you?

ready4mygirl - Saturday, 11 October
A yeast infection generally wouldn't cause a fever. If the rash is red with little tiny white bumps in it ... it is a yeast infection. You can buy regular yeast infection medication and it will clear it up. I would take her to the Dr's for the fever though. Especially if it over 101. It is not dangerous for an infant/ child to run a high fever, but it can be if the fever last more than a few days. I would take her. If she was on antibotics she had an infection and apparently the infection isn't clearing up. Awww poor baby give her a squeeze for me

I am glad you your hair turned out nice. I bet you stared at that stud muffin the whole time huh? That is funny you said that. Today me and my friend Angie were going to our class and there was a guy in front of us. He looked real good from behind. He had a nice ass and all. I said I bet he is hot A few seconds later he turned around and OMG he fucking looked like someone off the hills have eyes So I learned a valuable lesson... Never look at the ass first.

dossfirstchild - Friday, 10 October
Hey sorry took so long...this girl is always up fussing during the day...shes so spoiled...she loves being with me all the time...YIKES...what did i do? I know that is so bad and shes going to suffer when she goes to daycare :(

I'm so sad! Looks like she is going to have to go to formula...I havent been producing much milk...and she eats so much...girl she is already 11lbs 1oz...shes only 1 mth old...Hows your little princess doing? Feeling better?

ready4mygirl - Friday, 10 October
Well, I am done with classes today YAY! But I have to wait another 1.5 hours til a friend gets out of her class. We are riding together today. Luckily my class was only 1 hr today b/c I have been having contractions for the last 1 hr and 20 mins or so. They are not horrible, but for a while they got bad enough I almost left the classroom. then they eased up and slowed down and now I am only feeling discomfort on my lower right side. It may be do to all the walking I dont know, but it scared me. How have you been feeling?

ready4mygirl - Friday, 10 October
You better start eating girlie. Your lucky you dont gain weight easily. If I even THINK about a milkshake... my ass jiggles for a week. But seriously you probably need to eat a little more. It is not good that you are not gaining weight. You should increase your food intake or calorie intake. I sure hope you gain those 2 pounds by your next Dr's visit.

ready4mygirl - Friday, 10 October
They don't even pick up after themselves in their own house. I think they are leaving today. I am so tired. It is 10 min to 8 and I didn't go to bed until 2:45. Off to school I go, and my house looks like a cyclone hit it. Madi wole up at 12 last night and didn't go back down until 2. I hope you have a good day. I have morning sickness today.

ready4mygirl - Friday, 10 October
It's nice to have my friend and her hubby visit but their kids don't listen worth a SHIT. I have almost snatched them up and beat their asses myself. Since they have been here ( al ittle over 24 hrs) I have cleaned my house 4x, done the dishes 4-5x, my son's room 2x, and as soon as I clean up their kids are dragging shit out again. Their kids are so damn loud. They keep waking Madi up. You tell them shhh, be quiet or shut up and they apparently don't know what that means. They want to run around, yell, stomp and spin on the floor at 10-11 oclock at night. AHHHHH

ready4mygirl - Thursday, 9 October
HAHAHA... yep we are just a like. I would of died laughing if i was there. Speaking of grocery shopping... my house looks like the grinch stole christmas, I need to go shopping bad. YAY today is my day off. I have some friends over they are spending a couple of nights. How is your day going? So far mine is good but there are a lot of kids here

cecismommie - Thursday, 9 October

katiemac - Thursday, 9 October
Good for you! I've heard craigslist is a great steal! I have to go on it more often! I am hoping we get some good stuff at the shower otherwise we are screwed and will need to hit all the stores at the last minute! or hop on craigs list or ebay! sounds like you have it all together!!

haileyc - Thursday, 9 October
I hate winter too. For the last couple of weeks, the weather has been psychotic. Last week, temperatures were in the high 90's in the beginning of the week, then cooled down ALOT towards the end of the week. On saturday, the temp was in the low to mid 60's and raining... and since monday, it's been in the 90's again. Supposedly, we're going to be cooling off ALOT later this week... again. It's crazy!

haileyc - Thursday, 9 October
LOL I'm still laughing about your "when women like bugs" comment because it's so true! But it was GREAT just being able to get away... You should at least try to go to the park and do nothing... that's nice. Not as nice as getting away for a few days, but still nice

jayrodmarie22 - Thursday, 9 October
okay so i went out today and bought a lot of the stuff you all suggested for me to do while im in the house ...Thanks to All!!! Will b sure to let you know which ones worked out and which didn't lol as i'm going to try them all!!

haileyc - Wednesday, 8 October
Sounds like she's getting better!!! LOL GOOD!!!! Camping was nice! I was with family and my husband. The family that we went with are major campers, so they had all the good stuff. I'm NOT a wilderness type of girl either, I'm a real girly girl. That's why we only stayed 2 nights But I love that place that we went to because it's on the beach... and it's VERY secluded, so I have NO idea what's going on in the outside world. It's amazing!

PS: Bugs aren't my fave either

haileyc - Wednesday, 8 October
Hey Girlie!
I just got back from camping last week. I'm with you, I don't like camping unless there are warm showers and flushing toilets... which there were! Yay!!

So how is your daughter feeling now? You wrote me on Sunday, so I'm sure a lot of things have changed now! I'm glad your hubby came back... now you got some help! Hopefully!
