June 27

I decided to finally update my page.
Well, my son was born on February 9, 2008. He was two weeks early. He weighed 7 lbs and 9 oz, 20 1/2 inches, and it was the best day of my life:) My labor was very short. My water broke, we went to the hospital, and 3.5 hours later Andrei was born. He will be 5 months old soon. Time flies!

Andrei is a big boy, at 4 months he was 18 lbs 12 oz!!!:) He is on solids already and loves it.

He is such a good baby, smiles and laughs all the time, rolls over, tries to sit up by himself, and actually tries to crawl already!:)

Hi!
I have been searching around this website for a long time now, and finally decided why not, I can make my own page. Gives me something to do.

Well, my name is Marina. I'm almost 22 years old and 34 weeks pregnant. I recently got married, in September of last year. My husband's name is Alex, and he is 27. We are very much in love and happy to be pregnant:)

We are very excited that we are having a boy. His name will be Andrei Alexander. I am due on Feb 21st, but hoping it will be a Valentine's Day baby.

Well, for now I don't know what else to write, except that my pregnancy has been easy for me so far. Almost no morning sickness, feeling well, and the baby is super active, which makes me very happy.

Right now I stay at home most of the time, taking care of myself and waiting for my little one to come. I'm pretty bored during the day, so feel free to message me any time:)

Hi! Just updating my page...I don't want to complain, but I'm so tired to be pregnant already..I can't sleep through the night, it's just so uncomfortable. And I'm not even that big! I just can't wait for my little boy to get here!! I'm so excited! Tomorrow is my 35 week appointment, we'll see what else the doctor is going to tell me. I wonder if he's gonna tell me to come every week now.

My baby shower is this Saturday! I'm excited but at the same time stressed out about it. My friend is doing everything for this shower, but I'm worried if she can do everything right. And also, I want everyone I invited to come.. For some reason I have a feeling that only a few people are gonna show up. I just want it to be fun! And I look forward to getting stuff for my son..We haven't got much for him yet, just some cloths. My mom already sent me a huge package with some other necessary things for him. My MIL said she wants to buy him a crib and a dresser..I hope she does. My husband doesn't really like taking gifts from her, for some reason, but I will convince him. It's not for him, it's for the baby after all. My mom also sent me some money, so we can buy a carseat and a stroller. I decided I will do some major shopping after the baby shower is done and over with. And then we can finally set up a nursery.

Only five weeks left!!!! I feel like it's been so long and I've been pregnant forever. In the last couple of weeks all of a sudden it's gotten really uncomfortable to do everything..Tying the shoes, bending over, standing up, sleeping... But in the end it's all worth it, isn't it?:)

Start with the cereal, I did it in the evening - to help fill her up for sleep (it didn't really work for us, but I know lots of people who said it helps them sleep longer). I'd give her about 5 spoons then burp her, (they say to start with 2 tablespoons of powder mixed with formula/breast milk) the texture should be like a thin gravy, a little thicker than watery, then give him a bath, bottle, bed if that's your routine. I didn't really substitute it, just gave her the cereal a little earlier than I'd give the bottle. My daughter tolerated it right away, watch, though for constipation because it gives them extra iron. About 2 weeks later, I gave her a few spoons of veggies at about 10am (after her morning nap) and still give the cereal at night. That's how I did it, I had a million questions for my stepson's mom who just had a baby a few months before me. It's worked for me. Let me know how it goes. By the way, you can buy 2 types of cereal - one you add water, the other formula/brmilk. I warm up the formula and then mix it. It is so fun to feed them, especially after they really like it and start to blow bubbles and talk with it in their mouths, I constantly have crusty hair!

there is good feeding tips on babyzone.com.but I was told to do cereal for 2 weeks once a day, just plain rice cereal, if that's tolerated then you can start beginner veggies, give one flavour for 3 straight days (to check for allergies - some say a whole week, my doc said 3 days is enough. Always start veggies. hope this helps

one thing about your son's new poop - are his bowel movements frequent, meaning hourly or more frequently? I ask b/c a change in texture and color is probably just adjusting to the new food, but much increased frequency added into that could indicate diarreah. hope everything's okay!

I was told that that a reaction to new foods can take up to 4 days, which is why when we introduce new foods to them we should wait 4 days in between to make sure they are tolerating it okay...hope this help and your little guy feels better soon.

That is so awesome that your baby rolled over already! My little guy doesn't seem even close to rolling over. It's probably my fault because I don't give him enough tummy time - it seems like he hates it so I give in and pick him up!
