Hello Ladies!

Thanks for visiting my page. I love this website and have enjoyed reading about all of you and our pregnancies!!

I'm pregnant with twins (boy and girl) and my due date is March 16. My husband, Devon, and I have been trying for almost 5 years and have had a really tough road to walk. We did many infertility treatments and inseminations that were unsuccesful. We finally moved on to IVF and I got pregnant the first time. We were ecstatic and thought it was a done deal but then at the 6 week ultrasound we found no heartbeat and the little guy was not the size he should've been. It stopped developing early on. We were devastated but picked up the pieces and moved on. After our fourth round of IVF we were beginning to lose hope. All the daily injections and stress of it all were really getting to me but on our 5th try we finally got pregnant again!! We couldn't believe it and were, of course, so worried because of what happened the first time. After getting through those crucial 3 months we began to relax a little more. Yesterday I started my 20th week and everything has gone so well with the babies. We are truly enjoying ourselves and still can't believe we are having two babies. Then to top it off we get a boy and a girl. I have a ten year old son named Titan who will be 11 in December and he is so excited. He kept saying he wanted a brother and a sister and his wish came true!! He rubs my belly a lot since it has finally popped out and he kisses the babies goodnight every single night I tuck him in. We feel so spoiled now and we pray to God that things continue as well as they have been!

Wednesday, 31 Oct
Hello! I'm 20 weeks and 3 days today. I'm feeling really good overall but I'm wiped out by around 3-4pm! I wasn't very hungry at dinner which is usually the case but I made myself eat a small meal. Anyway, had a good day and those babies are really moving a lot. I think they're using my bladder as a trampolene!

Friday, 2 Nov
I woke up feeling good this morning. I even went to my Jazzercise class for a workout. I've modified a lot of the moves but I still get a good workout. Anyway, got home, took a shower and hung out with my husband, Devon, since he had today off. It was around noon and I was wiped out! Usually that doesn't happen until 3 or 4pm. I could barely keep my eyes open but tried to watch some Desperate Housewives espisodes we had taped. Picked up my son on his early day from school and came home to bed!! I couldn't take it anymore. I got a good nap but had to get up 3 times to pee during my 2 hour nap. I feel like I live in that restroom!! Ahhhhh! Felt better after the nap and now I'm just hanging out with my boys! Sweet dreams everybody!

Saturday, 3 Nov
Hey! Is everyone enjoying their weekend? I hope everyone is doing well. I didn't sleep very well lastnight but am feeling good today. Hubby is at work and Titan is playing with his friends so I'm a little bored because I got all my chores done yesterday. Anyway, I'm super excited because this Tuesday the 6th I go in for a check up and we get to see the twins again. I just love seeing them moving around on that screen. We also get to confirm, a second time, if they are a girl and a boy. Yipeee!! Hey, can some of you tell me how far along you were when people on the outside could start feeling the baby move. I'm 21 weeks today and my husband and son haven't been able to feel them kicking around yet even though I'm feeling a whole lot!!

Monday, 5 Nov
I got some good sleep! Yipeee! So I'm all ready to go workout this morning. After that, I'll be having an early lunch with Devon. Hmmm... We'll see what the babies are in the mood for. I can't wait for our ultrasound tomorrow morning! I want a second confirmation that we're having a boy and a girl!! I'll post more after the u/s.

Friday, 9 Nov
Yahooooooo! Tomorrow, Nov. 10, 2007, I will be 22 weeks!! It's going by so fast. Devon felt the babies for the first time yesterday! He was going nuts with excitement. There has been so much movement going on in my belly so I was frustrated that Devon and Titan couldn't feel them from the outside. Now I just have to get Titan to feel them at the right time!! We think it's our baby girl that Devon felt because on the last ultrasound she was on my left. Devon was melting all over the place and hasn't even met the little ones yet!! Anyway, I worked out today like a good girl but now I'm wiped out!

Monday, 19 Nov
Wow! I am feeling bigger than ever! It seems I'm out of breath most of the day even when I'm relaxing in bed. The babies' kicks and movements are stronger than ever too. Last night I was on my side and my arm was resting on the side of my belly when I felt a big knock on my arm. My arm instinctively popped up! It's just all so amazing to be feeling all of this. As of Saturday, Nov. 17, I am 23 weeks along!! In the past few days I've also been getting a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions. I had the most today. I pay attention to them carefully since I am at risk for pre-term labor but so far they have only been Braxton Hicks. Thank God things have been continuing on smoothly. With all the complications we had over the 5 or so years of trying to get pregnant we can't believe we've gotten this far. Giving up and letting all the failures of getting pregnant rule our life was not an option and we realize that even more now as we wait to meet these little miracles. Next ultrasound is on Dec. 4. Can't wait to see what they are doing in there and how much they've grown!! I'll keep you all posted!

Wednesday, 21 Nov
Went to a class yesterday that taught me how to identify signs of preterm labor. Doc and staff have been so good about making sure I know how to recognize warning signs. The sooner it's identified the faster we can get to stopping early delivery. I like how one of the doctor's assistant put it. She said we need to cook those babies in your tummy for as long as we can. Anyway, I'm feeling good and confident about what they taught me so I feel prepared! This morning Devon was off from work so we slept in and were lazy in bed for most of the morning. He felt both babies moving and kicking around so it was an exciting morning! A few days ago he had only felt the baby girl and not the baby boy but today it was both. I feel like I've been living in the bathroom today. The liquids go right through me!! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there!!

Saturday, 1 Dec
Yuck!!! Not feeling good from this darn cold I'm fighting. Haven't been able to sleep well either. It's tough to be out of breath from the big belly and then to not be able to breath from having a cold on top of that!! Doc said that Sudafed was safe so that's helped a little. I think after this weekend I'll feel more like myself. Oh yeah, 25 weeks today!!!!

Tuesday, 18 Dec
27 weeks and growing!! I feel like Titanic. I'm having all the regular discomforts of getting bigger and bigger in the belly but the most important thing is that the twins are fine! We finally picked names. The girlie girl is Danica and the boy is Derrek. We love how Derrek and Danica sound together. Next appointment coming up on Dec. 24 so I'll be updating soon. Hope all the Mommies are feeling well!

Thursday, 27 Dec
Derrek and Danica are doing well in my tummy! I got to see them at the appt. on Monday morning and everything is looking great. I did my 1 hour glucose test and it came back high so I have to now do the 3 hour one tomorrow morning to see if I have gestational diabetes or not. Hope not!! I didn `t have this problem with my first son but with twins and the fact that I `m older raises the risk. That could be why I `m so tired all the time but we `ll see how it goes. I `m not worried about it because I `ll adjust my diet or do whatever I have to do to control/fix it. So that `s what I `ll be doing for the first three hours of my morning tomorrow. Wish me luck! Today I `m 28 weeks + 5 days. Hope everyone is doing well out there and has a wonderful New Years!!

Monday, 14 Jan
Hey everyone! I `m at 31 weeks and still moving forward! I feel huge but the babies are doing well and moving so much! We sure had a wake up call on Friday night though. I was getting contractions Thursday and Friday but they got a lot more consistent with lots of pressure. I talked to someone at Labor and Delivery and they wanted me to come in for a stress test. They had me drink a lot of fluids to hydrate myself because they said I was having way more contractions than they would like to see. They were starting to talk about admitting me too. The good thing was that the babies heart rates were fine and they seemed to be doing well. I drank and drank but nothing changed so they started an IV to push fluids that way and thank God the contractions slowed down majorly! My cervix was checked and doc said it was intact so I got to go home with special instructions of course. No bed rest at this point but basically don `t do much at all and just take it easy and stay well hydrated. We need those babies to stay in my belly until atleast 34 weeks so we are crossing our fingers and I `m doing what I need to do. We checked into that hospital at 7pm and didn `t get released until 2am!!! Definite wake up call for us. Just wanted to share! My baby shower is coming up this Sunday the 20th which will be so fun! Can `t wait. TAke care ladies and enjoy the week.

Sunday, 27 Jan
Hey everyone! Hope all is well! I have to say, as for me, I `m creeping around like an old lady! Everything hurts but I `m so excited to be at 33 weeks today. I `m seeing doc once a week now and he said we just need to keep Derrek and Danica in my belly through this coming week and then they will be safe to deliver if I actually do go into labor. I have moments where I feel like labor is starting. Things are definitely happening and I can `t believe how close we are to meeting our little ones! I can `t be on my feet for too long but am hanging in there that `s for sure. Take care ladies!

Oh my gosh you are online. I check on you a few times a day to see if you are on. You have not been on in FOREVER...Tell me whats happening?! The angels are born??? I will wait to hear from you!

buninovenx2 - Saturday, 16 Feb
Hi! Wanted to check in on you and let you know that I hope you and babies are doing well! I see you haven't been on in quite some time but I'm going to attempt not to worry!! I posted some belly pics from about a week ago if you get a chance to check them out! Feeling okay here, went for a pregnancy massage today...YAY. Well, my hubby is waiting on me so I must hurry but will write more later! Talk to ya soon I hope!

startingoverat37 - Monday, 4 Feb
Well whats the update with you? Are you still incubating? How are you doing? How are the babes? Let me know. Tisha

startingoverat37 - Sunday, 27 Jan
Are you having any contractions? Or is it just that twins come earilier usally? Are you ready for double trouble :)? I always wanted twins but obviously God knows I could not handle it. Bummed me out though when I realized there was only one. I thought wouldn't it be cool if I had twins as this is the last pregnancy and then there would be 2 for the price of 1. Playmates.
So your house won't be complete til March. Man! Thats tough! Would have been nice not doing a huge move with lil ones. You will have to get alot of help. You take it easy and let others help you out. Did you have a shower? That would be interesting buying double everything. I hope you are doing well I see you aren't on a ton. Good luck this next week...let me know the progress and when they are born.
I am still nausious everyday. I have been going through severe depression recently- being so tired of the nausea, feeling very isolated from pepole since I am so sick I do not go anywhere really, the gloomy weather here in Washington, and just plain and simply tired of pregnancy! Erin Kelly is breech. The doctor is going to try to turn her through my stomach in 2 weeks. OUCH! I think I would rather the c section. Well you take care of yourself.

buninovenx2 - Sunday, 27 Jan
Howdy! It's been a while since I've been online because of the crazy week at work that I've had! It's been rather trying because one of my staff members has really been testing me so I had to react and make her stay at home one day without pay in order to HOPEFULLY get her attention. So I worked 3 days of 12-14 hour days on W, TH and FRI. Needless to say I have done absolutely nothing but lay on the couch today and I don't feel one bit guilty about it! My body was exhausted, I ended up filling in as a nurse for one of our drs. those three days so I was on my feet and up & down a LOT- I'm not very used to that anymore but it was good for me and I felt good too! Anyway, I'll have to get my crap together and get some pics on my page of my belly and the nursery- it's just a matter of taking the time to do it! My mom and I just got home from Babies r us, my grandmommy (who is in the nursing home) bought me my rocker and ottoman for the nursery as a birthday and shower gift. My LAST birthday is coming up next FRI. 2/1, I'll be the big 29 so no more birthdays after this. Too bad I can't even have a drink on my last birthday. Oh well! I noticed you're in week 33...YAY, you're almost to that 34 week mark that you've been waiting for! Way to go momma! How are you feeling, are the babies still moving around a lot or running out of room? My little girl is constantly reassuring me that she is a okay in there with her movements, all day long. Luckily though she really doesn't have a problem settling at night so that I can get some rest. I can feel her readjust position every now and again but it usually doesn't even wake me up. Well, hope you're feeling good and let me know how things are going! Talk to ya soon I hope!

Hi I read about the hospital scare. I am glad everything is okay though. I guess you are happy to know usally twins are earlier than singles...so this will be over for you a lot sooner then me. Did you move in the new house? That will be tough to do while pregnant or with newborns. Wish you luck with the move. Night.

buninovenx2 - Monday, 14 Jan
Hello! Glad to hear from you- I do get worried sometimes when you're gone for a long period of time because you are a bit further along than me and having twins so I always worry that you've gone into labor early. At least you can rest assured that even though they'd be preemies, at this point they'd most likely be okay if they just HAD to make their appearance! I know what you're saying about wanting to make it to 34 weeks though!! I'll keep you in my prayers for sure! I'm really sorry to hear about you escapade @ the hospital but it sounds like the outcome was good so that's a plus! You're really lucky that you've made it this far in pregnancy with twins and not had to be on some type of bedrest! You're a real trooper! My best friend was on bedrest for quite a while with her boys and we were actually talking about that this weekend! I've been feeling pretty good overall...I do have my days though but that is to be expected. My back pain had subsided for the most part and I got to go have a prenatal massage on Saturday which was WONDERFUL and I highly recommend it to ALL pregnant women, no matter how much it costs!! It really isn't that bad around here though, I got and hour for $75 and felt like a human being again for that hour so it was well worth every penny! I have to admit though my hubby got me that massage for Christmas! Guess what...over the weekend I didn't get a whole lot of rest BUT I did make a lot of progress towards getting ready for baby girl. My best friend and I got her room painted, bought the crib, changing table and chest of drawers, and window treatments. So I now have the real beginnings to a nursery!! YAY! My hubby agreed to let me go with the black furniture with a distressed/antique look and I LOVE it! It matches her little bedding set perfectly. Her walls are creme with one accent wall in a sage green look. At least I know she has somewhere to sleep when she gets here if nothing else!! lol. Okay, well I've yapped enough so I'm gonna go but look forward to hearing from you!! Talk to ya soon, Kerry

i have been feeling alot better lately... i lost another few pounds but the baby is healthy and growing fine so the doctor is not all that concerned yet... still have some vomiting but i feel alot better... i'm glad everything is going ok for you now... what is considered 'carrying to term' with twins? I would think you have got to be getting pretty close right?

Aidens Mommee - Saturday, 5 Jan
Congrats on your twins! How are you feeling??

buninovenx2 - Thursday, 3 Jan
Hey! No more snow in the forecast but the little we got was enough to make it feel like winter finally! It is now just cold as crap here and I'm like you, indoors drinking hot cocoa sounds like a plan! I'm really glad to hear that you got good test results and that you'll only have to be careful about what you eat, sounds like that won't be a problem though considering you don't have much of an appetite. I really haven't reached the 'not able to eat as much' point yet but I can feel it coming. During Christmas if I ate to much, I felt awful though so I know that I need to not continue to stuff myself after I feel full. I still have plenty of taste left for a variety of foods and it's showing in my 5-6 pound weight jump last month!! I went to the dr on Monday and she made a little comment about the amount I had gained in comparison to previous months. I just looked at her and said, UH- Christmas, sorry! I'm trying really hard to do better now though so that I don't continue just putting on uneccesary weight. I was going to tell you that last night, I got to the point where I was almost in tears with the back pain- mostly just because I was fed up with it and ready for it to give me a break! So I called my mommy and begged her to come down and rub my back to see if I could get some relief. Of course, being the wonderful mommy she is, she came down to my house shortly after that and brought some joint/muscle relief cream, laid me in the floor and rubbed for like 20 or 30 minutes. She said she could feel some knots in my back and bulge like things around my hips but once she was done, I felt SO much better and relaxed that I could actually stand up straight!!! YAY! I put some heat on it after that and laid down on the couch...for the 1st time in like 5 or 6 days I was comfortable and fell straight to sleep. My hubby gently helped me get to the bed an hour or so later and I slept like a baby! I feel a bit better today so maybe, hopefully I'm on the right road to feeling like myself again!! Keep your fingers crossed for me! Ok- well we got like 13,600 something dollars in insurance payments yesterday that I have to post to the patient accounts and I need to try and get 2007 closed out- which also means a major cleaning of my office so I need to get busy but I'll talk to you soon!!!

buninovenx2 - Wednesday, 2 Jan
Glad to know I wasn't the only 'fuddy-dud' on New Year's Eve. Just kiddin- we aren't fuddy duds- we're just preggo! I know that I can take Tylenol for the back pain but it doesn't seem to do a whole lot, other than that, I'm just not willing because I don't like the thought of take a pain killer or muscle relaxer with baby on board. Maybe I'm weird but that's just how I am. I'm really trying to be a trooper but sometimes I still feel like a weinee...more than that I just wish it would quit! I think I really try to be such a trooper because I work in medicine and listen to patients WHINE and COMPLAIN about EVERYTHING all day every day so I just try to let that keep in all in perspective for me! So we got like 2-3 inches of snow and I am working today anyways! BLAH! I was hoping for more so that I could close the office and play in the snow. Oh well! Okay, well back to work and hopefully we can get on out of here a bit early since NOT a lot of patients are coming in! Talk to ya soon!

Startingoverat37 - Wednesday, 2 Jan
We went to see National Treasure 2. It was a good movie. I would love to get a nap everyday but have not been able to much lately. I have been going to bed nightly at 9-10 though and staying there til 10-11. SO I stay in bed alot! On really nausious days I stay in bed often later or go to bed earlier. Wwo on the cleaning...I need some help to bad you live so far away. Wish I had extra money for a cleaning service once or twice a month. My family is in the neighborhood behind the Sunrise Mall. A couple Uncles and Aunts build custom homes in Roseville. SOunds like from others comments that you are building a house, how exciting!!!! That must be very exciting! We are buying a 1885 home. We were remodeling but quit after the kitchen (Money doesn't grow on trees unfortanely haha) but getting pregnant put all remodeling on hold for now. I do alot of the work myself so I don't see me lifting drywall and mudding walls right now. I wanted to work on my formal living room this summer but then I started getting really sick and went to bed for about 18 weeks. Anyways its exciting you will move in a new house. No remodeling.

buninovenx2 - Tuesday, 1 Jan
Happy New Year! Yay- we made it to 2008- the year of our babies!! Hooray. Hard to believe that time can fly by so fast! I can remember with my 1st daughter, it seemed like pregnancy took forever but this one has flown by like I can't believe and she's going to be here before we know it! We had a nice quiet night last night and actually I was asleep by like 10:30 or 11 but I'm like you and don't go for the late nights anymore. I also feel your pain when it comes to be sociable- I used to love to go and do and be around all our friends but recently I told my hubby that I'd rather just stay home as much as possible until this baby comes. Home seems to be the only place I'm REALLY truly comfortable. The back pain issue is driving me crazy and I didn't have it with Krystin but I swear ever since I had the epidural with her, my back has been easier to injure. Not to mention the numerous times I have pulled it in the past few years between lifting and all the horse stuff we do and I've always heard that once you pull your back out it's always easier to re-injure it after that. The bad part is that it's nothing I can't handle, it just makes it a little tougher with the extra weight and the 'off posture' I already have. Oh well, thanks for listening to me gripe- it's nice to have someone to sympathize. I hate to complain to anyone around me because I don't want to become that annoying preggo girl that whines all the time and everyone gets fed up with so I just keep my mouth shut, grin and bear it. My best friend was sweet last night, we went by to see them for a few and she could see that I was trying to cover the pain I was in and she told me that she could remember what I was going through and felt sorry for me. That means a lot coming from her because she's not always the most sympathetic and caring person in the world! Anyway, hubby is being great about helping me and I'm sure my back will feel better with a little time and extra TLC. I hate that you had to do the 3 hr glucose thing, I know that sucks we do them in our office all the time. If you were here I'd have done it for ya and not hurt you a bit! Drawing blood is my thing and patients request me all the time because they say I don't hurt them. I love that I can give people a good experience with something like that! Ok- I've rambled enough and need to go help my mom cook some dinner. She and I finished my baby registry today and she invited us up for dinner so I need to go help. Pray for us to get some snow...they're forecasting 4-7 inches and we haven't had a good snow in several years so I'd love to see it really happen. Okay, well I'll talk to you soon and hope everything goes well and there's good news from the glucose testing!

Wow thank you for the compliment. I have really been struggling alot the past 7 months. I have really hard days then I have decent days. Today I am feeling semi okay so I have decided I will take kids to the movies. Not what I want to do as bed sounds better but I know for there sake I need to do things for them. Have a nice afternoon. What part of Sacramento do you live in? My Mom moved from Citrus Heights to Washington a couple years ago. I lived in El Dorado Park & Cameron Park for 2 years in 83-85. Still have family in Citrus Heights.

buninovenx2 - Monday, 31 Dec
Hello! Sorry it's been such a long time but I took a week's vacation from work last week and I don't really get on the computer much when I'm not @ work! I had a wonderful 9 day break and had a great Christmas! I hope you did as well. What are you doing for New Years? We are doing...NOTHING!! No plans which is a 1st for us because we're usually into something but it won't hurt to take a year off! Hope everything is going well for you and I have faith and am saying prayers for you that your house will be done and you will have the babies room ready when they arrive! How have you been feeling? I have started having some pretty intense back pain now and then (mainly after I 'overdo it' and do more than I should be right now) but that's par for the course and I'll be okay. She's worth it. Well, I'd better try to get some work done, have a great New Years and I'll talk to you soon!

Startingoverat37 - Saturday, 29 Dec
Congrats on twins! Thats wonderful. I hope you are feeling well through this time. Not much more to go.

Glad for you!!

buninovenx2 - Tuesday, 18 Dec
I am SO glad to hear from you! I was beginning to get a little worried! Anyways, things are going great for me but I'm still not ready for Christmas and I have a limited amount of time to get ready! Can't believe it's just a week away! My belly is growing but most people keep telling me how 'little' I am- I definitely do NOT feel little by any means. My best friend made me feel good over the weekend because she kept saying how small I was in comparison to her at this far along. I need to post some belly pics I guess! We haven't really done a whole lot more shopping but I have been working on my registry @ babies r us so that's progress. Now we just have to start working on her room after Christmas. Did you see the bedding set I chose posted on my page? What do you think? I love it but it's kinda hard to match colors to. Oh Well! I am definitely going to work up until my due date if at all possible because I can't really afford time off prior to her arrival. I'd rather use it all up when she gets here and my job is the type that I can do a lot less if need be towards the end as far as getting around and stuff. When will you all get to move into the new place? I know you must be looking forward to it! Well, don't be a stranger and I'll talk to ya soon but gotta run for now. ~Kerry

Just wanted to say hi because it looks like any comments I've posted to you recently have been erased and I have no idea (no brain pregnancy) what we talked about last so, hope things are going well- noticed you haven't been here in almost a week and praying everything is going okay for you!! Look forward to hearing from you!
