Hi. I' a 36 year old mother of two.

I had my two girls when I was 21 and 22. It was easy to conceive back then, and I really thought two was enough for me.

Along the way, my ex husband and I divorced and I never thought I would want to even think about having another baby.

This past year, I met the man I could spend a thousand forever's with, my soul mate, the love of my life. We were married within the year, and now we are trying to conceive our first baby.

I thought it would happen right away. It did before, it did with my sister and everyone else I know. I am worried about my age. I know it takes time, and I need to relax and take it easy, it has only been since the end of July since I began trying.

I am hoping it happens soon, but I know it will happen if and when it's meant to be.

Thankyou for reading this and if you have any advise... feel free... : )

Nov. 9th:

Second day of Af. Accepting the fact that it didn't happen this month. When we decided to ttc, we both guess how long we thought it would take, he guessed one month, I guessed 4. So this month.. in two weeks anyway, we will be on our fourth try. SO, I have the OPK and we'll just have to wait and see. I hate waiting.

Nov 10th: My Af stopped mid day. So it lasted only only 24 hrs. I wonder why so short. Its not normal for it to be so short for me, and I usually have horrible cramps. So, I think I'll test in the morning so I can rest my mind.

Saturday, 15 Dec
today is dec 14th. I have about 8 days before I ovulate again. I don't mind this waiting period half as much as the following two weeks. I wanted so bad to have a wonderful Christmas surprise, but it didn't happen. I know it will though, soon.
If it doesn't happen in the next two months, its time to visit the Ob/gyn.
Of course I hope this will be my month, but time will tell.
good luck to everyone ttc and congrats to all of you that have gotten your blessing, esspecially those in the 35 and over group!!

Tuesday, 26 Feb
It `s been 7 months of ttc. I am waiting for my AF on Sunday. I have a strong feeling this is going to be the month. I went to my OB/gyn, he said I have no reason to do anything but keep trying at this point, and if in 6 months I am not pregnant we can look into our options. So for now, we wait. Til Sunday at least, of maybe we will test early on Saturday. I am finally content with waiting, and even find it exciting.Good luck to you all TTC and those who have!

Friday, 29 Feb
I took 3 tests, all had at least a faint line, the first two I did 3 days before my AF. We bought those at the dollar store figuring its early and we don `t want to spend a ton on tests. I had a feeling I was pregnant this month because exactly 7 days after I ovulated, I had very light bleeding for about a day and a half. Both showed a very faint positive reading. We bought a better test and took it last night, two days before AF. ANother positive, this time a darker reading. I am due for my AF tomorrow, but I think this is really it. I got my BFP!!!

Monday, 10 Mar
I am 5 weeks pregnant and feel so darn tired and nauseas, my husband can `t believe how my bb have grown already, and I have been sleeping like crazy lately. I have never had so many symptoms, esp. this early on. My first Dr. visit is in one week. I can `t wait. I am just so happy to be pregnant. I don `t know what else to say, 7 months of trying, it finally happened!

Thursday, 13 Mar
Well, I am sick pretty much sick all day everyday, and tired! But its all good, I know my body is going through a lot of change and I am excited about it.I just called my Doc to make sure Monday is ok for my first appointment, I heard most Dr.s don `t want to see you until 10 weeks and I am at the end of my 5th week. So, they said Monday is perfect 6 weeks is exactly when he likes to start! So, I am happy to know I am doing the right thing. :)Its been so long, I really don `t remember as may details of my first two pregnancies. I do know I was sick for my first and perfectly fine with my second. ANyway, that `s my update. 5 Weeks and moving along!

Sunday, 30 Mar

I am approaching week 8 and for two days in a row I didn `t feel like complete Doo-Doo. Which makes me so so happy!!Not much else is new. I bought a maternity bathing suit today. Its very cute, so far I haven `t gained any wieght, but my tummy seems a bloated.I had all my blood and urine anaylsis done this week. The end of this month brings excitement with our first sonogram and some worry with knowing I will have to tell my boss the news, which he won `t take too well. BUt What can you do!I hope everyone is staying positive and feeling good! more to come.....

May 19th Second Trimester.

So, I am now 15 weeks and 2 days. Feeling tired a lot and I get some pretty killer head aches. I gained 4 lbs, and heard the heartbeat twice so far. We still don't know if we are having a boy or girl, but we shall soon find out on June 17th! I really can't wait.
My girls are having fun picking out names I decided on Oscar for a boy and Katrina for a girl. That still might change, but so far, those names are the winners..
I keep laying in bed feeling my belly, I feel my uterus tighten at times, and I just can't wait to feel the baby move..... soon!!!

This is my third one. I think he started at 35 because I told him I was really uncomfortable down there and was having pressure. But, yeah I think my first two didn't start until 37 or 38.
I am anxious too! He is really moving today! I am cleaning my house as no one is home and I am just doing it on commercials! HA Getting a lot done though.
I feel so lazy lately...

No tests. I had a doctor appt yesterday and they said that things are the same. No dilation, etc My contractions are getting stronger and longer but not consistent. So I am sure they are the Braxton Hicks, but they are still very uncomfortable and happening much more often like you. I almost turned down the crotch check yesterday cuz I wasn't in the mood. I hate going in and getting felt up and getting nothing in return! HA just kidding. It's just I knew he wasn't going to tell me anything and it is almost a let down to hear that I am the same as last week.
Well, only two weeks from today I will be holding my new little son. I can't believe it. It is kinda freaking me out and making me scared at the same time as excited.
All of a sudden there are so many issues at home like money, Sami getting a ticket for running a red light (387.00!) Luckily she has a job and will pay for it herself, but I still feel kinda sorry for her. That is a lot of money. Hopefully she learned a lesson.
Hope your weekend goes good and your BH aren't too painful!

Yeah, Griffin has a whole dresser full, plus two bags of stuff that won't fit him for awhile. I have some of Chad's stuff in my attic that I couldn't bare to part with, but I am not sure if Griff will wear them or not. May be too hard.
I hate doing thank yous too. Not because I'm not thankful, just because I am a procrastinator! That is a great idea about not wrapping!
I am feeling quite drained lately too! Didn't do much nesting today. Did my bathroom though. The only room I feel like I need to clean now is the living room and it really just needs dusting. So, the baby needs to come out now! HA
Sami already has the car seat installed in the car and one in the truck and she is calling me from work now on her breaks and wants to know when Griff is going to come out and "play"! HA

bunnyintheoven - Wednesday, 8 October
Hay sugar, how are you doing?? It's been too long

lori-d - Tuesday, 7 October
How did your shower go? Did you give the "thanks for coming speech"? HA Hope you received all you needed and had fun! I have been working on my thank yous. It is going to cost a fortune to mail them! Too bad they don't sell stamps at Target, I could use a gift card! HA
I have been having serious cramps down by my bladder/cervix area. Settling in I guess. I want to have this little guy so bad! His room is officially complete except for some wall hangings and a couple shelves I want, but I'm okay with that being done later!
How have you been feeling?

momof2luvbugs - Monday, 6 October
Asher's room is complete! We're just missing his bookshelf - but it's all done!! Yay!! Now we just can't wait for him to get here!!

CLAIR12 - Monday, 6 October
my 1st pregnancy was 9lb 12 oz and this time i dont know yet as i have 4 weeks left. xxx

lori-d - Sunday, 5 October
You lucky! You get to see your baby again! When was your last one? I have really been wondering how big my little one is...Sami was 7-15 and Chad was only 5-7 so I could have any size I guess! Since I'm having a Csection, it doesn't matter. Just healthy would be nice. I'm so freaked out about that lately. I'm having so many anxieties. I guess it's normal, don't know. I look at the little cradle already by my bed waiting for Griffin and just can't seem to picture him in there. I think I am going crazy...Maybe cuz Chad was sick and I just can't remember what it was like to have a healthy little baby. It's been almost 19 years! It's getting closer!
Can't wait to hear the prediction on the size of your little one, let me know!

lori-d - Saturday, 4 October
I have been very cranky too. Totally stressed out more than usual during this pregnancy. I haven't logged on to the computer, haven't cleaned my house like I wanted to when I started leave, and I stress about everything! I'm even getting tired of feeling the movement in my belly because it is constant and it almost hurts because there is no room in there! HA I want him to come out so I can meet him! Yesterday I think I peed four times in 20 minutes and barely any every time!
How are you feeling? Now that I sent you an upbeat message! Hope you're doing better than me today! Well, the day is early, so maybe it will get better!

angela982 - Saturday, 4 October
Yeah I was having trouble sleeping for awhile too but its getting better. I read the risks of trying to give birth vaginally to a breeched baby and it scared me and trying to turn her manually is only 65% affective so we are going the c-section route. But as of now if I go into labor myself they will not stop it so she could come anytime.

angela982 - Saturday, 4 October
I'm doing ok just ready to be done so uncomforable. This is one is staying in the breeched position so thats the reason we are having a c-section. I'm nervous but excited at the same time. How are you doing? I had a ultra sound done on Sep. 25th and she was 5 pounds so far so we're happy about that.

felicia-lundstrom - Saturday, 4 October
That seems wierd to me that their going straight to insulin! Oh well. Good job on keeping your numbers down :-)

It's so exciting when I get to see my little guy, it never gets old. I'm doing great!! How about you?

Let me know how big the baby is when you find out! I am curious.

Hi, thanks for the responses to my babyshower situation. At this point, My husband and bff are salvaging the shower the best they can. My bff is going to host everything and providing the cake and my husband purchased decorations and favors yesterday, along with us providing the food. We simply have decided to do Rigatoni, salad, chips and dip, pop and a veggie tray. It will still be at my home this Sun. I want to let all of you know that my posted comments on here about the shower were not completely all about the shower; it was the fact that my dad and stepmom hurt me and besically said screw you we don't want to be apart of your life anymore go pick up the pieces from the shower we had planned for you. My husband and I have decided to not reconcile with these people and the cut them out of our lives permanently. My dad had hurt me alot over the years and I just can't subject myself to his dysfunction anymore. I will enjoy my new baby and my own family( hubby and kids) as I have always done as I have said before my husband and I don't really have family from either side; we have both come from pretty bad backgrounds. Anyway, I am super excited about my new baby boy making his arrival very soon; I am 33 weeks today and he could be born as early as 3 1/2 weeks from today if I deliver him at the same time as I did my firstborn Zach and my daughter Alexandra was a 37 1/2 weeker, so maybe at the most I have 4 1/2 weeks left? I'll just have to wait and see I guess. I have definately been having alot of pressure and increased braxton hicks, also my midwife thinks I will deliver early too???? Thank you all for your support and friendship on here and baby dust to you all.

momof2luvbugs - Thursday, 2 October
Let me know how it goes!!!

The drama in my life never ends: To all of you on my friends list I need advice and support on a situation that is going on in my life. Please check out todays comment I wrote in week 32. There are also a few other comments I left a few days ago in week 32 reguarding this same issue; reading those comments may help give you a better understanding of whats going on. Thanks Christina

Seeing how I turned 40, I have to hurry up, if we hope to have a second, so waitng isn't an option for me.

Tess42 - Wednesday, 1 October
36?! Why, you're still a baby to me, ha! You are SO going to love having this baby and here's a little secret from an old momma: it's even sweeter later in life. No, really, for some reason, I can't stop sniffing my baby's head -- it's like the best flower you've ever smelled on the planet. OH, and their little chubby arms that cling to you like a chimp -- even better than before. I can't believe I get to hug and kiss a baby (and BE hugged and kissed by a baby) all day, all over again. AND, here's a great bonus: your 14 & 15 year olds will fall head over heels in love and be a really big help. They will be helpful in fetching things and you get to go to the bathroom -- best of luck, momma!

krisiemae - Wednesday, 1 October
You are very welcome! Best of luck to your pregnancy, and welcome to the gestational diabetes world. If you have any questions on it or need support, don't hesitate to ask. Baby dust to ya!

Hi I have GD and am being induced next week at 38 weeks- my baby is very big and is over 4kg (9lbs) already. I am on insulin three times a day and I also had GD with my first, but no insulin with her. She was full term and weighed 8lbs 7oz.

res - Tuesday, 30 September
Congrats on your pregnancy. You can definitely have another. I got pregnant with my first at 38, and am now ttc for #2.It has been 6 months of ttc, but I know I can do it again.

lori-d - Tuesday, 30 September
I am SO tired! I pee all the time too! Last night I had a tantrum because I was mad at everyone and then I cried so hard I peed a little! HA My daughter is acting like she is 15 instead of 18. I guess maybe I shouldn't expect her to be nice and keep her feelings in check. She is so rude and eye rolling lately. It just bugs me because she really has never acted like this and why now? Now that she is considered an adult? Yesterday was TJ's birthday and she acted like she was doing us a favor by hanging out with us and then bailed at the first opportunity to go see her boyfriend...Oh well.
So, I am officially on leave starting yesterday. I am so lazy! Yesterday, I didn't do a thing and today it is now 9:30 and I am just now going to jump in the shower and get some things done! :)
How have you been feeling?
