Hi. I' a 36 year old mother of two.

I had my two girls when I was 21 and 22. It was easy to conceive back then, and I really thought two was enough for me.

Along the way, my ex husband and I divorced and I never thought I would want to even think about having another baby.

This past year, I met the man I could spend a thousand forever's with, my soul mate, the love of my life. We were married within the year, and now we are trying to conceive our first baby.

I thought it would happen right away. It did before, it did with my sister and everyone else I know. I am worried about my age. I know it takes time, and I need to relax and take it easy, it has only been since the end of July since I began trying.

I am hoping it happens soon, but I know it will happen if and when it's meant to be.

Nov. 9th:

Second day of Af. Accepting the fact that it didn't happen this month. When we decided to ttc, we both guess how long we thought it would take, he guessed one month, I guessed 4. So this month.. in two weeks anyway, we will be on our fourth try. SO, I have the OPK and we'll just have to wait and see. I hate waiting.

Nov 10th: My Af stopped mid day. So it lasted only only 24 hrs. I wonder why so short. Its not normal for it to be so short for me, and I usually have horrible cramps. So, I think I'll test in the morning so I can rest my mind.

Saturday, 15 Dec

today is dec 14th. I have about 8 days before I ovulate again. I don't mind this waiting period half as much as the following two weeks. I wanted so bad to have a wonderful Christmas surprise, but it didn't happen. I know it will though, soon.
If it doesn't happen in the next two months, its time to visit the Ob/gyn.
Of course I hope this will be my month, but time will tell.

It `s been 7 months of ttc. I am waiting for my AF on Sunday. I have a strong feeling this is going to be the month. I went to my OB/gyn, he said I have no reason to do anything but keep trying at this point, and if in 6 months I am not pregnant we can look into our options.So for now, we wait. Til Sunday at least, of maybe we will test early on Saturday. I am finally content with waiting, and even find it exciting.Good luck to you all TTC and those who have!

Friday, 29 Feb

I took 3 tests, all had at least a faint line, the first two I did 3 days before my AF. We bought those at the dollar store figuring its early and we don `t want to spend a ton on tests. I had a feeling I was pregnant this month because exactly 7 days after I ovulated, I had very light bleeding for about a day and a half. Both showed a very faint positive reading. We bought a better test and took it last night, two days before AF. ANother positive, this time a darker reading. I am due for my AF tomorrow, but I think this is really it. I got my BFP!!!

Monday, 10 Mar

I am 5 weeks pregnant and feel so darn tired and nauseas, my husband can `t believe how my bb have grown already, and I have been sleeping like crazy lately. I have never had so many symptoms, esp. this early on. My first Dr. visit is in one week. I can `t wait. I am just so happy to be pregnant. I don `t know what else to say, 7 months of trying, it finally happened!

Well, I am sick pretty much sick all day everyday, and tired! But its all good, I know my body is going through a lot of change and I am excited about it.I just called my Doc to make sure Monday is ok for my first appointment, I heard most Dr.s don `t want to see you until 10 weeks and I am at the end of my 5th week. So, they said Monday is perfect 6 weeks is exactly when he likes to start! So, I am happy to know I am doing the right thing. :)Its been so long, I really don `t remember as may details of my first two pregnancies. I do know I was sick for my first and perfectly fine with my second. ANyway, that `s my update. 5 Weeks and moving along!

I am approaching week 8 and for two days in a row I didn `t feel like complete Doo-Doo. Which makes me so so happy!!Not much else is new. I bought a maternity bathing suit today. Its very cute, so far I haven `t gained any wieght, but my tummy seems a bloated.I had all my blood and urine anaylsis done this week. The end of this month brings excitement with our first sonogram and some worry with knowing I will have to tell my boss the news, which he won `t take too well. BUt What can you do!I hope everyone is staying positive and feeling good! more to come.....

May 19th Second Trimester.

So, I am now 15 weeks and 2 days. Feeling tired a lot and I get some pretty killer head aches. I gained 4 lbs, and heard the heartbeat twice so far. We still don't know if we are having a boy or girl, but we shall soon find out on June 17th! I really can't wait.
My girls are having fun picking out names I decided on Oscar for a boy and Katrina for a girl. That still might change, but so far, those names are the winners..
I keep laying in bed feeling my belly, I feel my uterus tighten at times, and I just can't wait to feel the baby move..... soon!!!

HA When I read the first sentence of your message, I thought it said you had to take a poop test! HA I read it too fast. I crack myself up.

Wow, I have heard of that 3 hour stupid thing. I thought the hour one was bad enough. I agree, we should be able to leave and come back. Why the hell would we cheat? You would have to be some loser to go home and have a burger and then go back...I know some people who were given the stuff and they drank it at home, waited an hour and then went in. Wish they did that here. I hated sitting there. I even forgot my book and had to look at old gross magazines that everyone else had touched...HA
I haven't walked in a couple weeks cuz of the fires, but plan to do so soon hopefully. I am lazy...

So, what do they do now? That totally sucks! Do you have to take the test again or will they let you? Weird...
I found out that I am so anemic that they are surprised I am awake! Prescribed me some iron, but I just resumed my prenatals instead. I had stopped taking them, cuz I hate the way they make my tummy feel.
Keep your chin up! Other than that, how are you feeling? Ugggggggh I owe you a picture! I'm on it!!! promise

Ya, Rylee is starting to kick a lot. It is great, I love for my husband to feel her. We are doing good overall. You know heartburn, dizziness, ect but the doctor says its nothing to worry about. Time is going by pretty fast. keep in touch.

I haven't logged on in awhile. Did you get my pic I sent your email? I kind of had problems. I think I will just post it on this page under my photos...he's so cute, I'll give him some air time!

Him and his wife just got back from Guatemala. They built a school and hiked up a volcano for their vacation! No kids obviously! HA
So, I found out I was anemic. Did I tell you already? The doctor said I passed my glucose, but I am so anemic he was surprised I could even get out of bed in the morning! I just thought I was so tired because I was old and pregnant! So, I am now on more iron, yuck. He said the baby would be fine, but that it could push me into early labor or even a blood transfusion when I go in for my Csection. ugghhhh
I'm so excited to be in my 3rd trimester! Starts tomorrow I think. I can't wait to hold his little butt in my hands and let him nibble on my chin like a little bird.

How have you been feeling? Any cramps or braxton hicks?

HEY, don't get that glucose test while you're sick. Illness will elevate your natural numbers anyways (from everything I've heard) and you don't want to have to stick to this low-carb diet if you don't have to- did I mention how much that sucks?!

I can't believe you're actually hoping for more - you crazy chick! I guess it would be nice for these ones to have a sibling that's close to a playing age, but I just doubt I could ever do it again. Of course, this coming from the girl that didn't even think it was possible! And we're still Catholic, so God evidently already has a wicked sense of humor - who knows!

I've gotten a few things but nothing is really ready. I got a great bassinet on CraigsList - turns out the woman lived just 2 miles away - for use in our room for the first 3 months or so. My best friend gave me her crib (which the hubby still needs to put together) and rocker. I have about 3 pj's I've bought and 2 boxes of stuff my SIL gave me from my nephew. My baby shower is planned for 8/24 (the day after I turn 40) - isn't that ironic! So hopefully I'll get a few things there and still have time to fill in the rest.

OK, you've guilted me into it. Next week when the kids go back to school, I'll schedule a day to figure out how in the *#@! to get a belly pic up here!

School starts a week from tomorrow - SH@#! I am not ready. How's your cold?

OK here's some stuff that's happening that didn't happen the first 2 times - this baby is causing me pain! When he moves sometimes, it just downright hurts. He's found my sciatic nerve which he likes to kick every once in awhile to send a jolt through my butt and down my leg just to keep me on my toes. He doesn't move as much as my girls did and I swear he's facing backward because I feel everything inside my body, not as much on my stomach from the outside. Also, it just all feels different than the first two times, maybe because I'm SOOOO much older. I can't believe I'm going to be 40 in 3 weeks - HOLY CRAP! And I can't drink or even eat what I want - this is definitely not what I pictured for my big 4-0. My husband told me that I'm going to actually be 39 again and next year, we'll do the big 40. By next year, I'll probably be feeling more like 45! I am ready to have this baby!

HEY STRANGER! Just saw your new pic - you look adorable!!! You probably hate that though. My friends keep calling me "cute" and I tell them not to say that so now they just refer to me as the old hag! HA! Aren't they funny? Especially since I'm almost the youngest of the whole group.

How are things going?

We just got back from the beach. Had a fantastic time - it was the most relaxed I think I've been in a year. We did hardly anything but sleep, eat and lounge by the pool. Unfortunately, we did not hang out at the beach nearly as much as normal because it was so flippin hot! The heat index for about 3 days was 105-108 degrees with off-shore breezes so the only relief was when you were actually in the water.

My brother and family are in town from L.A. for the next 2 weeks which is also the last 2 weeks before school starts so I am crazy busy. I've started getting up again at 7am but that's probably good, it will get me ready for those 6am school mornings - CRAP, I already went to school once! Why does it feel like with your kids you have to go all over again???!!!!!!

Thank you so much. I appreciate it. I know I shouldn't worry but its so hard. You want everything to be ok and then to hear something like that throws you back. I am still waiting for the dr to call me with the actual results, I am so thankful for the ultrasound tech or I would be worried sick. How are you and baby doing?

My little girl is really active (ha ha). I LOVE it.
