Your baby is beautiful ! Congrats indeed on your little baby boy. My daughter is a total delight. I am so in love - I never imagined (seeing as I did not enjoy being pregnant at all !). My breasts are killing me and not much milk is being produced. I am not sure if this is the stress or if I am just not cut out to breastfeed. In any case, she is gaining weight and looking more and more like a baby and less like a little rose shrimp ! For now, she has the most beautiful blue eyes too (like my mom and her grandfather - my husband's father). Thanks for keeping in touch. Your support has meant so much to me these last couple of months - you have no idea ! Best of luck with the growth spurt.

i'd say the latching took about 2-3 weeks to stop hurting -- at that point, my nipples got toughened up enough. I found that rubbing some breastmilk into the nipples when my son had finished nursing and letting them air dry helped a lot. also, I tried to alternate holds so that different parts of the nipple were stressed each time was helpful too - football hold, cradle hold, etc. of course, now he's too big for football hold anyway! hng in there; you're doing great!

Tariq was breech so they decided to do a C section, he came one day early though, so I had about 4 mild contractions before they cut me. I have to say I had a very easy birth and great recovery, I was walking around with my IV the next day, but I did get some strong painkillers. I just found out that they wont be giving me those here in Germany, so im dreading my delivery now. My mom always says, you dont know what it is to be a real mother until you went through real labour, so I guess I better get ready.
Is he giving u a hard time at night?

oh wow he is too cute, I love chubby babies my first was almost 10 pounds, lets hope this one doesnt get all that big though. According to my last ultrasound I am having a girl, thats what I really really was hoping for too. If i cant get it confirmed next week, we are planning to have a 4D U/S in Atlanta, we are going home for Mothers Day and I really want to shop till i drop. So I have to know what I am having.
I had some problems with swollen feet, but since that has passed I am feeling great and have no complaints. How are u and the lil man doing? How was the birth :-D?
