Im going ok! I have my checkup on Monday for my 38 weeks... I hope he wants to do an internal I had really bad braxton hicks yesterday, just want to be sure theyre actually doing SOMETHING other than giving me pain lol.

I've been trying to upload pictures to my computer all morning but I am having technical difficulties. As soon as I can I will have them up and I'll let you know!

Sounds like you have your work cut out for you but that it could be worse. We haven't painted Levi's nursery yet because it's too cool out where I live and we wouldn't be able to raise windows to air things out. Sigh.....I guess that's a job for next summer, and we will have to tear things apart adn then put it all back together again....

Two little girls--they will be so cute together, Im sure!

Omg, I am so glad that you said that because I was beginning to be afraid that I might be starting labor and he might come too soon. The way you described is exactly what it feels like. Also, right around my belly button hurts and then it wraps around my back. My legs also feel kind of funny afterward. Today I could hardly walk because the tightening and pressure was so bad.

I think I am nesting. This mornign I woke up at 5 a.m. and was cleaning house by 5:30 a.m., LOL! My husband woke up for work and he thought I was crazy, lol!

Just finished the nursery tonight! My mom and some friends of me and my husband who are also a expecting a baby stopped in and helped us. It looks AWESOME...now all it needs is a baby in it!

I've heard of the maternity belt you are talking about, but I have not been able to find one ANYWHERE. I am also getting the epidural. Lol, I am a bit of a wimp and had planned that even before I got pregnant, but after talking with a nurse practitioner that also suffered with SPD, I know without a doubt that I want the epi.

You've had a baby before, maybe you can tell me: what do the burning menstrual type pains mean? I have been having very mild burning mentrual like pains today, not very long, and mostly annoying more than anything, but painful enough to make me a little excited, like maybe the process might be starting, like maybe I am starting to thin or something. What do you think?

Omg, I have SPD, and have had it since week 13, and it is a nightmare. I couldnt tell you the last time I slept for longer than an hour without waking up in horrible pain. My pubic bones crack really loudly and then the pain is horrible, along with bad hip pain. Turning over in bed is awful too. I've tried pillows and everything. I always sit down to put on underwear or pants, socks and shoes, and that isn't as bad. Sometimes I try to sleep sitting straight up, and sometimes I might get two or even three hours of sleep that way. The good news is that it will be over soon! And that won't happen soon enough in my opinion!

I hope you have good luck with getting some comfort on the SPD thing. And if you come across anything that works, please let me know. I'll do the same for you.

Hello! I have been having the same pain in my symphysis pubis area! I've had it for over 6 months now, and it seems like it's been a little better lately. I reccomend sleeping with a pillow between your knees. That seems to help me. I have also tried chiropractic and acupuncture that has helped. My midwife gave me some excersized to do (with my husbands help) but it might be hard to explain on here. I hope something will help you! I have been told to just strap your knees together. I also know that certain shoes make it seem worse. Does any of this help?
