crysc - Thursday, 17 July the next full moon is July 18th.
chefjess - Wednesday, 16 July Mary, Just wondering if you had done any research on scheduled c-section. I am trying for a VBAC. I don't know if you are having an elective cesarean or not, but if you wait to go into labor on your own, even with a c-section, it is usually better for baby. B/c then you know that baby isn't coming too early, you know they were ready to come! Just thought I would let you know about some of the research I came across when deciding to VBAC. Good luck with you birth!
myfirstbaby:) - Sunday, 6 July it didnt start until about 8 months! then when they came boy did they come lol
what are you having?
mumofsix - Saturday, 28 June You can loose your mucus plug with a breach baby as there is still a wee bottom or feet that can push on things. You can begin dilating without a head down there though.
tiffjoy - Saturday, 28 June The babies head does not need to be down in order for your body to put you into labor. Many, many women go into labor and as they are starting to progress, the nurses or doctor find they are breach and go for a emerg. section. Your body puts you into labor not the head of the baby. I would definitely let you doctor know that you lost your plug and if you start having contractions. Hope that helps and good luck!!

eastern-Canadian-Lady - Saturday, 31 May Thanks for the reply. I was with the ob/gyn when the first contraction happened REALLY bad. (I never had one like that since I was into the third hour of labour with my daughter.) He saw the difference in my belly, then he felt my belly and remarked that my belly was "really tight". I also found out that I failed my first gestational diabetes screening during that same appointment. (I am so upset by it. they didn't give any advice, which is scary bc I don't know what to avoid. I am still not able to eat very much, so I don't know how I am going to avoid the few foods that I can tolerate.) I told him that everybody knows that when a woman has diabetes they have big babies, but if I am losing weight and my baby is showing so small AND I have diabetes, then what does that mean for my baby???? He looked really worried, as he has before when he told me other things. He told me to try not to worry, that we will do a three hour test, an ultrasound to determine the baby's growth (which was done the next day) and then we will see where to go from there. But then he said he no longer wants to wait two weeks between appointment. (I was seeing him, then two weeks later with my family doc, then two weeks later I was going back) He wants me to see him one week and my family doc the next week, until delivery. He seems to be hinting at is going to be quite early. He asked me to rest a lot, to try not to focus too much on emptying boxes from my move. I was contracting so much since the appointment on Wed that it's crazy, but today there are much less of them than before. I have never even thought of an infection being a possible cause. I hope that things are well with you and your baby. take care, E-C-L
goonieMomma - Monday, 5 May Take all the "full face, full rear, thick hair" crud with a grain of salt. Likely they're recalling their own stints with being pregnant and hyperanalyzing yours! I've also found that when they say these things, they mean it in a "she looks pregnant" way such as fertile, young, and still getting it on! It's hard to do, but I try to take it as a compliment. When it really bothers me, like w/ coworkers, I tell them, "That comment really hurt me. You may have not meant it the way it sounded, which was entirely rude." Then they feel horrible, which is too bad, but it seems to make them catch themselves the next time.
Number2intheOven - Sunday, 4 May Thank you! Good luck with your pregnancy.
catsa79 - Tuesday, 22 April thanks for your comment on my belly pic. I think it's a girl!! Good Luck to you!
nich-vegas-mommy2be - Wednesday, 9 April I noticed while baby shopping for a friend's baby shower that Babies R Us had a nice selection of double strollers - much more than I have seen anywhere else.
lanybug - Wednesday, 9 April I just bought a Jeep double stroller. Those seem a lot more bigger the then Graco stroller. The Graco strollers to me seem to compact and small. The nice part about the jeep stroller is that any infant carrier will work with it. Good luck.
browniety - Wednesday, 9 April Hi! I have a graco duoglider and it seem to work perfectly and my soon to be 3 year old has plenty of room in the front. I save the back for my little ones. I used it for my 1 and 2 year old and now i'm going to use it for the new baby and my soon to be 2 year old
JoJoUK - Thursday, 21 Feb Hi Mary about 10 lbs but I have given up smoking as well at New Year so I think that is probably why the extra pounds have gone on for me! good luck. x
lebedkat - Tuesday, 19 Feb I probably gained around 4 pounds. What about you??
