Congrats on your little one!!!! I had my little boy on the 3rd and he was also 8lbs and 19.5 inches...he's good too, only whimpers when he wants to eat but cries when changing his diaper. Adorable. Are your other kids excited? And helping a lot?? Mine are just the greatest helpers.....even poopy diapers can't deter my older daughter! Wow!!

Mary, When you were induced after having second child, did they just give you pitocin? or cervidil to? My doc only wants to give me pitocin and then break my water (second time round).. she says that my body will know what to do.. just wondering what your experience was..

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

my baby was not so very active either until about 2 weeks back. now he'll have very active days and on other days he's all laid back. the tech at the u/s said it might be coz my placenta is in between baby and tummy wall ....so i'm just not feeling him that much. but now he's strong and when i do feel him they are almost uncomfortably strong kicks.... hope this helps...

Thanks for the mail.I really hope this one will be a girl as i am so wanting a girl,i dnt mind a boy but a girl would be nice.i am planning on having just one more after this ,maybe two years after having this one.I am getting real anxious about this baby and im praying that all will go well this time.we will keep in touch.

I am not sure what i am having asyet.I did an ultra sound 2weeks ago but the cord was between the baby's legs and she was very stubborn,didn't want to move at all but the doctor says it looks like a girl.i will do another ultra sound next 2weeks to confirm as I really want to know what i am having.Congratulations on having a boy.Is this your last baby?

Well Congrats! We have the same EDD...so we'll be able to keep in touch. We are expecting a girl! I have a 16 and half month old and she will be 20 months when she becomes a big sister. We are thrilled to be having another girl.

Hi Mary, Congrats on your boy. I'm 23 weeks pregnant as well, we aren't finding out what the sex is though. My Husband and I plan to have around 5 children as well, sometimes I wonder how people can get by financially with that many mouths to feed. Do you have any tips?
