Hi there first time mum to be here, Am now 23 weeks pregnant cannot wait. Found out at week 19 were having a girl hopefully all is well with her. Joined here so i can talk to people who are maybe first time mum to be also lol so i can relate to and ask questions as it is a lil daunting but all very excitting.

Hi Mary, I have been okay, just dont know what to do with myself. Today i dont feel very well, i have a bit of an upset tummy so i thought it might be the start of something but it didnt last, now i am at work and i am very very hot and feel ill. My tummy keeps tighting but no pains or anything like that. I asked the midwife yesterday if i could start taking evening primrose oil and she said not to as there have been some write up about it lately and all negative so to avoid it till she finds out. My lil one has found a nerve and i think she finds it funny when she touches it but it hurts so bad. I want her out now... I have decided to stop work a two days early, wow i know but i cant afford anymore than that, man i with i could stop now and go home. Sorry for all the moans. Hope you are doing better than me? Ang X

Hi Mary, Yip still working. I'm not getting tired as i i cant sleep at night anyway. Keira seems to be a bit of a night owl, she is awake at night and sleeps during the day. I really hope that changes once she is born. I am getting sore and my woddel is getting worse, everyone is now commenting, but i just remind some of them i have a reason to woddel unlike them...LOL. I am very inpatient but selfish too as i dont want her to come out as i will have to share her, its hard having something or someone to yourself for nine months and then just like that you have to share with the world... makes me a bit sad when i think about it. Hope your day of catching up with friends and family went well. Chat soon Ang X

Morning Mary, That is an unusal name i like it, dont know if im propouncing it right but i like it. We have decided to call our lil girl Keira Chevonne Campbell. Yes im still at work, i finish in half an hour and i cant wait. I have decided to work till the end so i get more time with Keira afterwards. My back is killing me, hoping with Keira being queit and my back hurting these are all first signs of labour, i really hope so... So its your fault the weather is so bad??? Lets hold thumbs our lil girls are as impatient as we are... Have a good restful day and ill chat later. Labour dust. Ang X

She is perfect, just small. All my scans have been growth scans. She only weighed 3lbs 14oz at my 34 week scan so they were a bit conserned, but all is great. I dont know why im getting another scan, dont think the OB is saw knew what she was doing, but hey i get to see my lil girl one last time before i get to meet her in person. I too work in a factory, but its not hard as I'm i team leader so i get other people to do all the work, LOL. The only hard bit it that i work 12 hour nights but i get every other 4 days off so it makes it worth it. She has been very quiet tonight so i am hoping thats a good sign... Ang X

Hi Mary,
Well scan went well, she now weighs 5lbs 9oz so she has grown alot since her last scan and you would never guess what i get to have in two weeks, yes another scan. I love seen my lil girl but really dont see the point in that one as i am due a week later. They couldnt see if she was a boy or girl as there is not enough room for her to open her legs, lol. I wonder what the hard stomach is about?? Maybe its the start of labour for you??? Hope so... I have been in so much pain last night, when she moves it really hurts, its like she is trying to kick, bite or scratch her way out, OUCH!!! Are you still working or on maternity leave already? Let me know what doc says about hard belly.

Oh yes hip pain, palvis pain, groin pain, heart burn and not to forget the pains down my legs, but its almost over. Just 20 more days. I an going for another scan today to check if she is growing okay and just to check for the fourth time she is still a girl, lol. Let you know. X

Hi my name is angelique but call me Ang. Just been to the midwife and my Lil girl has dropped so now its just a waiting game. I too want her out in my arms but still want her to myself, selfish I know but I am going to miss being the only one that can feel her. But I can't wait not to be woken up by pains. Looking forward to be woken up by her cries, as hubby will share those with me. Labour dust to us both. Ang x

Hi Mary, I am good, also getting really tired now think mostly due to the lack of sleep. Ah it is so exciting to think you could be holding your Lil girl next week, don't know how I would feel excited or extreamly scared. No it would be 100% excited. Good luck. Keep us informed xxx
