Thank you Erin is a very cute child. But you have to remember I am finding a minute when she isn't crying and snap as many pictures as I can to get the good ones. Yes thats my dog buddy.

I can't believe you have to have a d & C...that sucks! Sorry...I gotta go get dinner but I will write in a while,.,..

The back pain might be cramps. Everytime I overdid it, I got back pains and bleeding. They were like back labor. Hope you feel better.

I resent the link to view the photo album. Maybe its in your bulk file. How was last night? Did Justina get some sleep? I am very happy for you that you have had your step mom come help you out. That is wonderful! Yolu never mentioned it before. Use that time to regroup and feel human!!! How was the chiropractor appt? Get all your errands ran? When is it that you are back to work? Can your step mom come baby sit for you at your place those days? That would be wonderful if you could get an arrangement like that. I need to go figure out something for dinner. Neal works til 10...I alw2ays feel so alone on closing nights. :( I hope you are doing well.

What are you doing all day? I sit with her in my arms online! I am not getting anything done with her any hoo...might as well do something to entertain me. Sometimes she goes for the swing and then I can do something else for a while. Right now I am nursing and 1 hand typing.

So whats the big deal putting the stroller in trunk. Get where you are going. Get the stroller out, pop car seat in it. throw diaper bag under and lock car? A process huh?! What are you going to do with yourself and her when you go back to work? You will have to get her and you ready, pack bags, get her to sitter then go to work...pick her back up, get back in the house and cook dinner and care for her...What are you going to do? Maybe you are ADD??? With all the struggling you have to wonder!
I hope you enjoyed yourself once you got out today! Have a great evening sweety.

I love that you took the long way home!!! Thats beautiful! Plus stopped for a donut! :-}
Like we don't do this all day long everyday!!! Is that the first time out without her? Its odd huh? I know it was the first time fir me. I have left her 2 times with mom and 2 times for less than 20 minutes with hubby. I guess he needs more alone time with her!

D&C oh no I am sorry! Not fun! GOSH! ALL that blood must be making you weak!

Well I hope you get some photos up soon before shes running around with the boys. :-) I can't believe how fast they grow!

Erin is well. She is a big cry BABY! All the time! Well most of the time. She is driving me insane. Shes batting at toys now. Smiling at things. Discovered the TV last night.
Is Justina sleeping in her bed or yours? Erin starts in her bassinet then ends up in with me as well. I am used to it now.
Miss you girl! You are so busy! Well hopefully will be able to talk soon again...

Hey Mary. How are you and baby Justina? Do you feel a little less overwhelmed now that she s older? Ian is doing well...quite a fatty and sleeping for slightly longer increments. He smiles and coos, which is so rewarding after our extended newborn phase. Ian has reflux and is on Zantac now...seems to be making a difference. He sleeps in a car seat because he was choking on his spit up before. He is so precious...we all love him so much! I'm going to ask my husband to post a picture of him tonight...I'm so bad and actually don't know how to do it! Well, take care. I'm participating on the other boards, but it just isn't the same, is it? I miss our little group.

I had mine for 7 years now so i guess I don't have to worry about it closing. I'll give it a try and see if I could get it out easy. Thanks for the advice.

Tracynewmom - Monday, 5 May
Thanks for the advice, I have no idea what to do. Some say it's ok to keep it in, and others say take it out. I really don't want too but my doc says I should just in case. I feel like if I take it out i won't get it back in. When did you take yours out and how? Do you use pliers? And was it hard to put it back in?

The doc appt was the GI specialist for me. It was fine...doing well. I am feeling just fine. Erin is fine now. Shes a bit fussy tonight. Was better this morning. Does Justina take a pacifier? I am training Erin on one. I made up a bit of water and a drip of corn syrup. You drip it in the water and then they take the pacifier. Eye color changes by 6 months. Hard to believe they are 7 weeks!!! Time has flown by! Personality here is intense impatience- want it now! Funny her name is Patience since she is also impatient as Erin is. Haha...gotta go cook dinner write a bit later...

Hi Mary
I am doing well.
Erin is swinging right now. She has been sleeping a lot today. I think she really wants to sleep alot and that is why she is so fussy. I have noticed that she sleeps right after a meal if I can get her to sleep quick enough and then the day goes smoother! Now if I don't get her to sleep fast enough I think she is getting over stimulated and can't put herself back to sleep.
Mary FORGET ABOUT YOUR HOUSE FOR THE TIME BEING! If you get some dishes done then great, but they aren't going anywhere. Get paper plates! Don't get stressed about the house not getting done. In a day I am lucky if I get enough sleep (which I stay in bed til I am sure I get the 8 hours I need- sometimes I have to be there 12 hours to get it)a bath (usally at night with her~ then Neal comes in and takes her and dresses her so I can wash my hair), maybe a load of laundry, then make dinner (which sometimes takes hours to do as I have to do it in stages with her)and thats pretty much it. If she takes a good nap then I do some dishes, pick up the room from all her equipment, sweep a floor etc. But that does not happen even everyday. I also think its more important to get out of the house for my sanity before work. So I leave the house to go to the store, take a walk, go to Moms, go to the thrift shop...etc...Do not try to be super Mom...we aren't lucky enough to have babies that sleep well, that aren't high maintenance and give us time to get life done. Soon enough we will have the time. If you are really stressed over the house hire a teenager to come in once a week to either clean or hold the baby while you get things done. I did that as a teen. You can call the high school if you do not know of any kids in the neighborhood. Hope you are haging in there tonight. Take care of yourself and get the sleep you need. How did it turn out last night with Justina...did she go back to sleep easily? Its funny how when they sleep we don't know what to do with ourselves. I keep looking at Erin like you should be awake. Haha...Talk soon...

startingoverat37 - Wednesday, 30 April
Did she stay up all night? I sure hope not. :) It worked I guess! Talk soon.

suzi - Wednesday, 30 April
hey hun me and maja are going to the GI dr today, I will let you know what happens, Maja screams and arches her head when im burping her adn is supper fussy with her feedings she is more fussy during the day

startingoverat37 - Wednesday, 30 April
What kind of gripe water did you buy? Did you get it at a health food store or babies r us or where? Perhaps she just feels so much better that she can sleep. Are you giving the amount recommended on bottle? A new born can sleep 18-20 hours a day. SO I would not be worried about tonight. I know I get nervous when Erin actually sleeps a long time too. Shes asleep right now on Neals chest in a front pack. Very sweet. She was so fussy so I was thrilled when she fell asleep. I hope all is going well with you tonight. I am sure by now you are asleep.

mayasmom - Tuesday, 29 April
Hi there....Ian is doing well. Just diagnosed with reflux and started Zantac and sleeping in car seat. Hopefully this will help his fussiness in the evening. He is 11 lbs now, and he had a full developmental assessment last week, due to being 8 weeks premature, and he seems to be totally on track. He rolls over, smiles, tracks with his eyes, vocalizes, sucks on his hand...all good signs! He is so cute and we love watching him change every day. I'll post a picture soon. Keep saying that, then never do it. I finally mailed my birth announcements and thank you cards. They were sitting on my kitchen table for the last 2 months, totally haunting me. I go back to work June 2nd. I am just worried about him being exposed to illness when he goes to day care. He has been so healthy thus far, and I know that environment will create some risk for him, but I have to go back to work or else I have to pay an outrageous amount of money to keep up our medical insurance if I stay out. Anyway, always some challenge as a mom. Nothing is ever perfect for our kids, but they somehow survive. How is Justina? Does she still have all that hair?

jacksmummy - Tuesday, 29 April
