lol tell me about exhausting... today is my first day off in 14 straight days and my boss has been stressing me out so thats probably what its about. But i slept in unitl 3:30pm today! LOL how lazy, but i needed it enjoy it while yo can right?

HEllo! Yep the test is kinda no-fun.. but you just have to do it once, that's it ! This is the 2nd test, right ?
Yep you can't eat or drink anything past midnight, except in the am you can have a little bit of water, and ofc brushing your teeth is fine. I suggest you make your appt as early in the am as possible, so you're not walking around hungry during the day!
The lab will draw your blood once when you arrive, then you drink that glucose, which is basically like, flat orange soda.. they'll explain to you that it's better if you gulp it down and tell them immediatley when you have finished drinking it.. bec they measure your sugar levels 1,2 and 3 hours after you have drank it. Some labs like to draw your blood even 4 hours after u drink the stuff. depends. The results of your test should come about 3 days-1 week later. The point of the test is to see how high your sugar level is at different times after you have a sugar drink. Really, even though i have boarderline gestational diabetes..i just watch my diet and make sure i'm active and it's 100% under control. At first i was a lil bummed, but ya know what ? IT'S temporary.. and taking care of yourself while youre preggers will have the biggest payoff ever ! A healthy baby! Good luck let me know how it went !

the doc finally called back later after i was already at work but it all subsided i think it was braxton hicks and just extra vaginal discharge im fine now and was a couple hours after i posted that so yea thanks for your concerns

hi! Thankyou =) It hasn't been easy...I still cry alot lol but what's funny is I've dealt with depression for a large chunk of my life and for once when you would think I'd be miserable, I still smile. Congrats to you and I wish you a happy pregnancy!

The pain must be unbearable! Is it any better though being pregnant without periods theres no blood clots? Have they discussed a hysterectemy? Thats a big move to make though especially this is your first child. Does it run in the family? I just felt the baby move finally today. I was getting really nervous since shes been very still today. I felt her last about 3am. After losing a child you just get paranoid with everything! WELL ITS 1:45 AND I BETTER GO GET SOME THINGS DONE AROUND HERE! Have a good day!

ha , ha....oh yes I am going to stuff my behind into some Spanx pregnancy body shaper panties so I can wear a dress to my husbands xmas party and underneath my high heel boots will be some nice compression hose so my ankles wont burst. Isnt pregnancy sexy......
All I have to say is if the other preggo there (she is a few weeks behind me)is looking way better than me I might cry.

Wow it sounds like you really aren't having any fun either. I am feeling a little better this morning than yesterday. Somedays are terrible and others are tolerable. Is this your first baby? Why have you had to have so many surgerys? It sounds absolutely awful going through the pain of scar tissue stretching to the point of ripping. Yuck. You are in my prayers girl.

Hi! Thanks for your concerns! I did call the dr and I ended up going in and meeting her at the hospital. They put me and the baby on a monitor. I was having contractions so they gave me medicine to stop them (which makes you feel REALLY weird). I have a bacterial infection and was dehydrated- those 2 put together is what caused my contractions. The infection is just one of those joys that come with pregnancy :( But I am feeling much better. I still have pressure but it's NOTHING compared to what it was the other day. They said it is probably my pelvic bone expanding and there is nothing I can do for that! They said it could've been a lot worse if I waited a couple more days to get checked so I'm glad I went in. I am really going to hate to see what real labor actually feels like. I am such a baby and that pain the other day is probably nothing close to what we will go through! Again, thanks for keeping in touch! Take care!

Thanks that is helpful. I've had this pain for about 5 1/2 hours now. It's been constant and at the same amount of pressure so it's not getting any worse, but not getting better either. I think maybe I'm starting to worry too much! How can you not?! But thanks for that! :)
