pregnancy positive pregnant

Im a mother of 3 beautiful boys. I just recently found out that i have a 4th baby on the way! WOW! Let the good times roll

Thursday, 13 Dec
i went to the doctor on monday, my husband was with me and we got to see the baby again :). it was all over the place, a huge difference from how small it was 4 weeks ago with a heartbeat flutter. Well its just one (whew). I am just getting huge due to the fact that this is my 5th pregnancy (lost my first pregnancy in my 15th week), so my muscles and all are stretched. Yeah that helps the self esteem. So much for my year with a personal trainer...LOL. No worries.

Friday, 28 Dec
Well xmas eve i spent it in the er hooked to an IV. I had a severe G.I. virus. After 2 liters i went home and still didnt feel alot better. They didnt check the baby while i was in there, basically there isnt anything they could do if something had gone wrong b/c i am only 13 weeks. Still would have liked to hear the heartbeat. Anyhow, went home i couldnt eat anything or drink a whole lot xmas day or on wed. My stomach still hurt really bad and i felt like i would throw up again if i ate. My ob said not to worry about not eating but to do my best with the fluids. I basically was just sipping on something all day. I also had a really bad sore throat on wed. I figured it was from all the straining when i was throwing up, but when i woke up this morning around 4 am with my throat closing up on me, i wasnt able to talk and i was having trouble breathing. I ended up going to an urgent care later in the morning and they sent me to the hospital via a cab (they didnt want me to drive b/c they were afraid i would pass out). Apparently i was still dehydrated pretty badly and he wanted me to be put on an iv drip. Well at the er i found that i have strep throat, and was given a dose of steroids, tylenol, a large dose of antibiotics and some ibuprofen. I of coursed asked them over and over if it was ok for me to have that and be pregnant, they told me yes. The steroids did the trick and opened up my throat. They also didnt check my baby, i have an ob appt coming up, but i cant help but worry a little.

well i am feeling a bit better after being on the antibiotics for 3 days. I have lost the 3 lbs that i gained this pregnancy along with 2 extra. Its ok, i am more than sure that after i get over all this yucky stuff that i will make up for it later. In the meantime, the belly is still growing. My toddler keeps playing with my belly button and pushing on my growing tummy.

Feeling the baby move :)

Sunday, 13 Jan
my boobs are getting huge and hurt like heck. For some reason my hubby thinks its a green light to mess with them....NOOOOOO TOUCHIE. heheheheMy 22 month old keeps poking them saying `boobie `. Yeah he is a breastfed baby. I hope he handles the new baby nursing well.

Wednesday, 16 Jan
been feeling pretty good, being able to enjoy the pregnancy :). Yay for 2nd trimester.

Thursday, 24 Jan

I was rear ended yesterday while i was on my way home from owen `s Dr. `s appt. I had all the kids in the car with me. We were sitting at a red light and a lady talking on the cell phone not paying attention hit us going around 35 to 40 miles an hour. We were hit pretty hard. Aidan was in the third row seat sleeping when it happened. We were all wearing our seatbelts and the kids seemed to be fine. Well apparently when i called the police they wouldnt send an officer to take a report b/c i said everyone was seemed to be fine. Oregon is a no fault state so they dont send anyone. BTW we were in a very very busy intersection when it happened. UNREAL. So now it is coming down to my word against hers. Anyhow...i ended up in the er all night hooked to an iv, i had gone into preterm labor, which at 17 weeks is a very very bad thing. Basically there isnt much anything they can do to stop it and if you have the baby at that time it would have no chance of survival. So this is what i was faced with, along with very real painful contractions that were pretty close together. I was put on an iv to push fluids which my ob said could help stop them, but if not then we would have to try to figure something else out. They checked the heartbeat...it was 160+ bpm which meant the baby was a bit excited about the whole thing. I was given an ultrasound to check the placenta. I also had a cervix check in which it was closed. THANK GOD! By the end of the night my contractions were not as intense and had spread out to every 30 mins. I was finally released a little after midnight. Im home now, and im still having some sporadic contractions but over all i feel ok. So ask me what we are having...lol.Oh and my van is smashed in the back. :((

Saturday, 23 Feb

Went to my 20 week ultrasound on monday (18th) It was with a perinatalogist to make sure that everything looked good, since my last son had malrotation of the small bowels. Well it looks good. I will have to have another one when i am 32 wks just to make sure that things dont change. Well i was told the baby is a little over 14 ounces...WOW almost a pound. I need to post the ultrasound pics, they came out great! He is still a HE...lol. I keep getting comments about how big i am. I really have gotten even bigger this past month. I need to also take some more belly pics. :)

Saturday, 23 Feb

Oh yeah...Aidan (my second son) felt the baby the other night, he was so excited about feeling his baby brother. now when the baby kicks you can see my stomach move with it...its awesome!!! Oh the baby seemed to have moved, he was laying longways...with his head at my right hip and his feet at my left, well it seemed to have done wonders for my braxton hicks...YAY. so i am getting some relief finally. They did however check my cervix to make sure the contractions havent been doing anything...everything looked good. My dr still wants to do a ffn test when i am 23 wks. Im ok with it, its better to be safe then sorry. I am still having them, just not as often and the pressure has lifted, I think he is now head down on my right side. thats where i am feeling him, and up under my right ribcage.

Tuesday, 4 Mar

Tristan was rolling inside me big time this morning, it was like he was doing tricks in there. Maybe he will be a skate boarder or gymnist...lol. I cant wait to snuggle him and pat his little butt. :P

Tuesday, 1 Apr

Ok sooo, it seems that april fools started early for me, this weekend was full of me having early contractions (pain), the ceiling in the living room opening up and releasing a tsunami, Owen running a high grade fever accompanied by puking. Oh and this morning...Coco knocked me down on the top of the stairs while i was carrying Conor, lets just say i did a great impression of a bobsled. I went all the way from the top to the bottom, hitting my head, back, butt, and thighs the whole way down. When we finally stopped, conor was crying and all i could think was that his poor leg that just got out of the cast yesterday was broken again. I had completely forgotten i was pregnant and was too busy looking over Conor and not thinking about myself and Tristan. Well i feel as though my back and butt got rug burns, im covered in bruises and basically sore. It seems as the hours stack up, the soreness gets a little worse. AAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHH. WTF, who mad us the target of the cosmic toilet bowl??? So now i am limping around, rug burned, pregnant, and there is a huge fucking hole in the ceiling in the livingroom that Gil is trying to fix. Did i mention also that I clogged the toilet again with the massive pregnancy craps that keep being expelled from my body? Sorry if thats tmi, but, i gotta rant somewhere. lol. The thing is...it sucks and all, but it is so sucky it is almost comical. In other news...SWEENEY TODD comes out on dvd today wooohooooo

yeah thats really good to know, im going to get some of that. now you got me almost craving it, lol and ive never even had it, lol being pregnant does weird things to ya :)

alicia510 - Sunday, 30 Dec
yes jaydon gets occupational, but they are going to be giving him more intense hours starting in the fall (that's the soonest they could do it) but i have the opposite a little bit, JJ (what we call him) since he only eats dry cereal and juice and milk makes his bowls softer! to soft, lol but i have been thinking about a nutritionist. i bet the carnation milk had something to do w/ getting his appetite expanding. its a good idea!

Well I agree that we could go on for hours about the MIL. As for the pregnancy things are good not as easy as my first but overall better than most of my friend's pregnancies so I'm greatful there. In a few weeks we are going to find out if it a boy or girl. Cross your fingers that it is a girl. I have a perfect angel of a little boy and a girl would make the family complete. But if I have another boy that is fine with me. Mason is such a good boy I could easily do him all over again. I'm just greatful I had a boy the first time another I'm not exactly a girlie girl and I doubt I could make it through 2 girls.

cynthetamine - Sunday, 30 Dec
Thank you!!!! Jeeze i thought i was the only one lol. There was a comment a few down from yours and the girl was pretty straight forward about how i'm wrong. But maybe its her first pregnancy and doesn't know lol. I knew i was pregnant before the test did cause i could no longer suck my stomach in hahaha! Congrats to you too!

robynj - Friday, 28 Dec
Thanks for your comment. I am glad that I am not crazy for not wanting my first born to share my MIL's birthday. She is already complaining about not wanting to be called Grandma. When my mom can't wait to be called Grandma. I guess some women are not happy getting old.

I do hope you are feeling better. 9 weeks into my pregnancy I got a bad cold and could not take anything. Needless to say I still have a cough and congestion. To give you peace of mind I would just call your OB/GYN and ask them to check your baby out. I know that my Dr. is very sympathetic to my worries. I am sure they will see you...

Stay strong.

Peace & Blessings!

Robyn

oh yes they are a blessing! Jaydon has givin me so much patience! that is great that your boys are best friends, and i was thinking that this new baby might look out for jaydon. you know when they get a lil older. did owen ever have problems w/ eating? i cant get Jaydon to eat anything but dry cerial! but he loves juice and milk, which the dr said is good, and dry cerial is also good. but i mean i cant even get him to eat cake or ice cream or anything, its very strange.

Mattie,
I am so sorry to hear about your experiences over the holiday. I hope you are feeling better. It is so nerve wracking to be sick and pregnant..as if we aren't worried enough already. I will have my fingers crossed for you for your OB appointment. Please let me know how it goes.
I was excited to see the snow on Christmas day and yesterday as well although I wish we had more and it would have stuck. I had been taking a nap on Christmas day and the kids woke me long enough to see a bit of it. By the time that I actually woke up from my much needed 3 hour nap though it was all gone. Hopefully we will get more, just not when I am ready to deliver at the end of February. LoL

hiya - euw sorry to hear you sick over christmas!! whats GI? is that like sickness and the other?? there was sooo much of that going around in my town just before christmas - thanks goodness i missed it!! hope you feeling better now!

alicia510 - Friday, 28 Dec
oh my god you really just gave me a lot of hope, thank you. in all aspects! i pray that it doesnt happen again, but god don't give you more then you can handle right? my son Jaydon, he is 3 and says about 20 words, though not consistent, also recites the alphabet and counts to 10. he's so sweet, and sensitive and cute. the worst trait i think he got was he throws things and yells randomly. im very scared about the new born, but its so nice to hear it worked out for someone else. i guess nobody ever said it was gonna be easy, lol you have to be a strong woman to do this 4 times and 1 with a disability!! god bless you! we are due around the same time. like a week apart. im due June 8th.

Mattie,
I read your post about finding a house in portland. We live in Beaverton..same problem. Cost is so high. We have a blended family with 4 boys and 2 girls. We live in a 3 bedroom, the boys all share one room, 2 bunk beds. and the girls share. The girls have already claimed the baby for their room. LOL. Actually she will be sleeping in our room for awhile given that I will be nursing. We are all excited for the arrival of #7 (baby Hope) to our family. Good luck with your pregnancy.

Thanks for the congrats!! I thought I would just clear up that the 2 loads were out of my house that is what she has brought here in the last year that I had to clear out of my garage and basement. She will not get rid of anything either at her house. What is making it worst is that my other half and I are now caught in between 2 divorces in progress because his mother(MIL) and father (FIL) and sister (SIL) are getting divorced and we are meant to be the netural zone that is never the case! The stress is making me nuts!

vkwaiting-baby-2 - Friday, 21 Dec
I notice your post on the MIL page and i have to say that I'm so greatful that I'm not the only one with the horder problems My MIL has a 3000 sq. foot home with no room left any where but a bed to sleep on and paths. We actually call the huge living room the news paper room now- I avoid the place like the plague. She has also filled a 3 car garage and 2 cottages on the property with junk!! It all comes from Good will and they have $$. I agree I don't mind a few things on the side but it is crazy in NOV. we cleaned house and took 2 full size trucks to the salvation Amry of toys clothes and Books etc. and I still have more to go

lmagnolia - Monday, 17 Dec
That's what I had even thought of standing on my head to relieve the pain I couldn't find any position to take it away. I even tried to lay face down with my butt in the air. The only way I felt a little relief was taking a hot shower but even that wasn't helping when I would run out of hot water. I'm glad I got my gallblader taken out.

michir - Sunday, 16 Dec
thank you! that makes me feel so much better about it! i googled it and it lead me to think braxton hicks too. but you just reassured me!
THANKS!

how's your pregnancy been going?

Valena - Sunday, 16 Dec
Thank you for the advice. I went and got a blood test at the hospital yesterday, negative. So, I will just see what happens now. They said possibly a chemical pregnancy, now were just waiting for my body to catch up. Are you hoping for a girl? Do you know anything about the basal temperature thing, and how that works?

dawnybobs - Friday, 14 Dec
