pregnancy positive pregnant

Im a mother of 3 beautiful boys. I just recently found out that i have a 4th baby on the way! WOW! Let the good times roll

Thursday, 13 Dec
i went to the doctor on monday, my husband was with me and we got to see the baby again :). it was all over the place, a huge difference from how small it was 4 weeks ago with a heartbeat flutter. Well its just one (whew). I am just getting huge due to the fact that this is my 5th pregnancy (lost my first pregnancy in my 15th week), so my muscles and all are stretched. Yeah that helps the self esteem. So much for my year with a personal trainer...LOL. No worries.

Friday, 28 Dec
Well xmas eve i spent it in the er hooked to an IV. I had a severe G.I. virus. After 2 liters i went home and still didnt feel alot better. They didnt check the baby while i was in there, basically there isnt anything they could do if something had gone wrong b/c i am only 13 weeks. Still would have liked to hear the heartbeat. Anyhow, went home i couldnt eat anything or drink a whole lot xmas day or on wed. My stomach still hurt really bad and i felt like i would throw up again if i ate. My ob said not to worry about not eating but to do my best with the fluids. I basically was just sipping on something all day. I also had a really bad sore throat on wed. I figured it was from all the straining when i was throwing up, but when i woke up this morning around 4 am with my throat closing up on me, i wasnt able to talk and i was having trouble breathing. I ended up going to an urgent care later in the morning and they sent me to the hospital via a cab (they didnt want me to drive b/c they were afraid i would pass out). Apparently i was still dehydrated pretty badly and he wanted me to be put on an iv drip. Well at the er i found that i have strep throat, and was given a dose of steroids, tylenol, a large dose of antibiotics and some ibuprofen. I of coursed asked them over and over if it was ok for me to have that and be pregnant, they told me yes. The steroids did the trick and opened up my throat. They also didnt check my baby, i have an ob appt coming up, but i cant help but worry a little.

well i am feeling a bit better after being on the antibiotics for 3 days. I have lost the 3 lbs that i gained this pregnancy along with 2 extra. Its ok, i am more than sure that after i get over all this yucky stuff that i will make up for it later. In the meantime, the belly is still growing. My toddler keeps playing with my belly button and pushing on my growing tummy.

Feeling the baby move :)

Sunday, 13 Jan
my boobs are getting huge and hurt like heck. For some reason my hubby thinks its a green light to mess with them....NOOOOOO TOUCHIE. heheheheMy 22 month old keeps poking them saying `boobie `. Yeah he is a breastfed baby. I hope he handles the new baby nursing well.

Wednesday, 16 Jan
been feeling pretty good, being able to enjoy the pregnancy :). Yay for 2nd trimester.

Thursday, 24 Jan

I was rear ended yesterday while i was on my way home from owen `s Dr. `s appt. I had all the kids in the car with me. We were sitting at a red light and a lady talking on the cell phone not paying attention hit us going around 35 to 40 miles an hour. We were hit pretty hard. Aidan was in the third row seat sleeping when it happened. We were all wearing our seatbelts and the kids seemed to be fine. Well apparently when i called the police they wouldnt send an officer to take a report b/c i said everyone was seemed to be fine. Oregon is a no fault state so they dont send anyone. BTW we were in a very very busy intersection when it happened. UNREAL. So now it is coming down to my word against hers. Anyhow...i ended up in the er all night hooked to an iv, i had gone into preterm labor, which at 17 weeks is a very very bad thing. Basically there isnt much anything they can do to stop it and if you have the baby at that time it would have no chance of survival. So this is what i was faced with, along with very real painful contractions that were pretty close together. I was put on an iv to push fluids which my ob said could help stop them, but if not then we would have to try to figure something else out. They checked the heartbeat...it was 160+ bpm which meant the baby was a bit excited about the whole thing. I was given an ultrasound to check the placenta. I also had a cervix check in which it was closed. THANK GOD! By the end of the night my contractions were not as intense and had spread out to every 30 mins. I was finally released a little after midnight. Im home now, and im still having some sporadic contractions but over all i feel ok. So ask me what we are having...lol.Oh and my van is smashed in the back. :((

Saturday, 23 Feb

Went to my 20 week ultrasound on monday (18th) It was with a perinatalogist to make sure that everything looked good, since my last son had malrotation of the small bowels. Well it looks good. I will have to have another one when i am 32 wks just to make sure that things dont change. Well i was told the baby is a little over 14 ounces...WOW almost a pound. I need to post the ultrasound pics, they came out great! He is still a HE...lol. I keep getting comments about how big i am. I really have gotten even bigger this past month. I need to also take some more belly pics. :)

Saturday, 23 Feb

Oh yeah...Aidan (my second son) felt the baby the other night, he was so excited about feeling his baby brother. now when the baby kicks you can see my stomach move with it...its awesome!!! Oh the baby seemed to have moved, he was laying longways...with his head at my right hip and his feet at my left, well it seemed to have done wonders for my braxton hicks...YAY. so i am getting some relief finally. They did however check my cervix to make sure the contractions havent been doing anything...everything looked good. My dr still wants to do a ffn test when i am 23 wks. Im ok with it, its better to be safe then sorry. I am still having them, just not as often and the pressure has lifted, I think he is now head down on my right side. thats where i am feeling him, and up under my right ribcage.

Tuesday, 4 Mar

Tristan was rolling inside me big time this morning, it was like he was doing tricks in there. Maybe he will be a skate boarder or gymnist...lol. I cant wait to snuggle him and pat his little butt. :P

Tuesday, 1 Apr

Ok sooo, it seems that april fools started early for me, this weekend was full of me having early contractions (pain), the ceiling in the living room opening up and releasing a tsunami, Owen running a high grade fever accompanied by puking. Oh and this morning...Coco knocked me down on the top of the stairs while i was carrying Conor, lets just say i did a great impression of a bobsled. I went all the way from the top to the bottom, hitting my head, back, butt, and thighs the whole way down. When we finally stopped, conor was crying and all i could think was that his poor leg that just got out of the cast yesterday was broken again. I had completely forgotten i was pregnant and was too busy looking over Conor and not thinking about myself and Tristan. Well i feel as though my back and butt got rug burns, im covered in bruises and basically sore. It seems as the hours stack up, the soreness gets a little worse. AAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHH. WTF, who mad us the target of the cosmic toilet bowl??? So now i am limping around, rug burned, pregnant, and there is a huge fucking hole in the ceiling in the livingroom that Gil is trying to fix. Did i mention also that I clogged the toilet again with the massive pregnancy craps that keep being expelled from my body? Sorry if thats tmi, but, i gotta rant somewhere. lol. The thing is...it sucks and all, but it is so sucky it is almost comical. In other news...SWEENEY TODD comes out on dvd today wooohooooo

Hey, I'm finally back on this site. Things are going okay. Sometimes I don't feel pregnant because I have yet to go to my first appointment. My first appointment is March 10th and I'll be over 13 weeks along. Nuts. HUGs and thank you so much for calling me the other day. I'm sorry I couldn't hear you very well, the car was loud. You made me feel better. Thank you.

my7thbabyduemay20th2008 - Monday, 25 Feb
Yes, I know, tomorrow it is week 28 for me, and I can't believe how fast time is flying!
I am going to labour at home as much as I can, and will use an epidural if my back gives me too much trouble,(I broke my tailbone twice in one year a few years back, and have had bad back problems and terribly painful labours since).
Having an epidural last time, I had less afterpains than I had with my fifth, and the 5th was a homebirth.
This is my 7th, so, I am under no pretences when it comes to labour and what it is all about, if I need an epi, I will go for one, not going to be a martyr, besides, my anaethetist last time said that babies that are born to mum's that have epidurals, come out with a high apgar score, and a generally more responsive and the mother is less stressed and tired, as the baby doesn't get all that bad adrenaline running into his or her bloodstream.

i fianlly emailed the dad yesterday after not for 2 months, basically asking him if he would consider coming home just 1 week early from hhis trip, im not asking much and if he says no, then it will definatly make thngs tougher between us cus i will resent him, and i find it hard to hide my emotions and feelins. i dont want to be with him, but would like him there for the birth, my cousin was with me when the twins were born and she will be again, but i would have liked the dad.
babys moving so much now, i can feel it outside, my kids are getting sick of me saying, quick quick put ur hand on my tummy, the baby knows i think, and sometimes it does kick but ima big girl anyways so it will take longer for them to feel it, but thats a really good sign that urs can feel it... im glad everythngs ok with the baby, whats the test at 23 weeks,
my scan went great, healthy baby, just normal, but ill take normal. i asked her how long it was, but she didnt know, baby was curled up legs by chest, i told her i didnt want to find out sex, i swear i saw 2 thighs with no willy... and a girl in our week has the same pic and thats a girl, but i asked the woman and she said no no, were not near the bits yet.. im convinced its a boy, did love the name harrison but now im growing more towards leon. not had nay braxton hicks for ages... but got a bloody stinker of a cold. doing a peadiatrition first aid course on monday and tuesday, should be good for work and of course might even help my paranoia with my own kids and helping them.
kids are really good, my twins dad who is canadien and still lives there is being such an arse, he is a recovering addict and his sister is hiv + .. im not judging them, but i cant take my kids over there, hes a very sly person and now he is taking me to court, ive never stopped him from comin here or calling, and i do see his point of them meeting his family, but it cant happen, the kids dont even want to go, 3 days in 2 yrs they have spent with him. the first of those yrs he was doing crystal meth here in the uk, instead of seeing the kids. he doesnt know im pregnant, he made me ill when i was carrying his, hate to think what he would be like now.
anyways... enough of my whining... how are you... i didnt ask, lol... sorry... kids and dogs ok, lol...whats the weather been like at ur end... been cold here. we bought a new motor, big 7 seater thing, lol, its huge
let me know what those tests are u said ur having at 23 weeks... i know we dont know each other, but i think ur an awsome chick and like to know u and babys ok.x.x.x

Tristan- I love that name !!!I suggested it to my other half but he didn't said it reminded him of Brad Pitt in Legends of the Fall. So he would not bite

ML28 - Saturday, 23 Feb

my7thbabyduemay20th2008 - Saturday, 23 Feb

JKs-Girl - Friday, 22 Feb
My daughter was only 6 pds and 11 oz. and I was ok with that! If this one is big, that will be ok too, but that will be scary! My fiances 2 kids were over 8, so I am wondering if ours will be! Hell and I though almost 7 pounds was big! Whats crazy is I dont see how she is so big, when my belly is still so small ya know!

About the Gdiapers...my friend just gave me a bunch because she HATED them! And then a co-worker gave me some because she tried them and HATED them! I guess they leak alot, are very hard to get out of the little plastic protective pouch when they are filled with poo and are just overall annoying! So...I just took all of them to the Salvation Army and my husband and I are going to look into cloth diapers. I haven't tried them but we are really tight on space right now and couldn't store them, especially since people only gave them to me because the HATED them!

kymber86 - Monday, 18 Feb
hi! i saw your comment, and i dont know much about gdiapers. just wanted to see if you've thought about cloth diapers? they save you alot of money in the long run, and are the most environmentally friendly option for diapering. and they are way way cuter that disposables and better for babies skin. we are going to use cloth when our baby comes. its definetly worth at least looking into!

Linda-Taylor - Sunday, 17 Feb
Hello thank you for your comment.. Your children are beautiful.. Congrats on the new addition to your family.. Goodluck...

michir - Sunday, 17 Feb
thank you and i know what you mean! even when it looks warm outside, you take a step out and it feels like its below 0!

ML28 - Sunday, 17 Feb
hey thanks for that info. last night i googled them and they do look great...the only problem is that the closest store i could get them from is an hour and a half away from my home!!! not good, espically when i realized it takes 500 years for a regular diper to decompose...so i am going to look around here and see if i can get them anywhere else...if not i guess i am stuck with stinky re-useable ones :( let me know how it goes for you. thanks again.

ukdutypaid - Sunday, 17 Feb
awwwwww. well maybe they can visit next time... must be hard, my folks are thinking of moving soon, a few hundred miles away, might aswell be a few thousand, we have always lived within a few miles, so will be hard and for the kids...
well let me know how ur scan goes.... what was up with the little mans bowel, did they fix it when he was born, or is it something he still has....
its good that they want to be thourgh... and yes u did say it would start moving, and oh my god...lol its so nice, cus now i think were at that point when we owuld know if somethings wrong, even if i dont feel kicks i feel it move... my scans thursday, a healthy scan now and after that, its just nature taking its course and not alot more i can do, dont see my midwife until the 18th of march and then maybe every 4 weeks from then..... we do have a shortage of midwives here, but the ones we have are good...
and in all honesty why we saw them so much anyways i dont know.... we do have contacts number if needed... anyways really good hearing from you, let me know how that scan goes.x.x.x.

ML28 - Sunday, 17 Feb
hey i read your post about Gdipers...can you tell me exactally what they are...i am looking for env-friendly dipers. thanks,

my7thbabyduemay20th2008 - Sunday, 17 Feb
No, we don't have Target here, yes it is a good store, I used to shop in it when I was in Australia.
Kmart is cheap and is worth checking out, plus we have The Warehouse, also called the big red shed, it is superbly cheap, but limited on it's baby products.
I think I need to take a trip to Christchurch soon, but better save up some monies first, lol!
My last baby was supposed to be my last, but things have definitely turned out different, Idk, maybe I could have another one, I really think, that maybe I am getting too old, although I don't feel it.
Do you think you would try for another, hopefully this time a little girl, or are you not fussed what you have?

my7thbabyduemay20th2008 - Sunday, 17 Feb
Btw, I love the name you have chosen for your little one, very nice!

my7thbabyduemay20th2008 - Sunday, 17 Feb
No, I have never heard of those sort of nappies, you can actually flush them down the loo?
I would like a better change table, and I have a new cot and portacot, and a near new pram, so that is cool. I need more clothing, and like you I thought Bailey was the last, and passed on a lot of my baby clothes to someone else, which really sucks, lol!
I wanted to get one of those bassinetts that hang inside the cot and they can be easily rocked by the hand, and I do need some more bedding, but by God, it is really expensive, I am sure that retailers see us pregnant mums coming and hike up the price, knowing we need those items, and want to get the best for our babies.

my7thbabyduemay20th2008 - Saturday, 16 Feb
Oh thank God they found it, but why did they take so long to find the problem? It amazes me sometimes with the medical profession, they can either be really good, or really negligent, and boohoo us mothers as being neurotic and not knowing anything, which really ticks me off.
Please let me know how the exam goes when you go to the doc, I would really like to know.

So have you got everything you need for bubs? I haven't, I have a lot of things still to get, you would think I wouldn't after having so many kids, but things do wear out, and you could probably vouch for that one.

my7thbabyduemay20th2008 - Saturday, 16 Feb
Wow, you are still having those contractions after the accident, have you mentioned this to your doc?
I pray that your little boy is okay and doesn't have the same problem with his bowel that your other boy had, that is so scary, eh? But, I really like your positive attitude.
My baby doesn't kick hardly at all, just moves everyday, very quiet and gets hiccups everyday, maybe I am having a girl, who knows.
Still sick in the evenings, bummer, in all my pregnancies I have never had this happen so late, weird!

my7thbabyduemay20th2008 - Saturday, 16 Feb
Yeah, I reckon that too.
How are you girl? Haven't spoken to you in ages, what's up?
See you are halfway there, yay!

vkwaiting-baby-2 - Wednesday, 13 Feb
So what name have you come up with if any??

ukdutypaid - Saturday, 9 Feb
the question is my sweet..... how are you feeling??? u need a holiday to get over this one, hehehehe!!!
im good, baby moves alot now. think my body is needing a break, which is ideal as me and the kids have a week off. infact i woke up at 5.30 this morning, which is what time i usually wake, but i went back to sleep at woke up at 8, i feel very differant, lol. so hows the baby, movin alot too? did u miss the pooch's? and please... what were the kids like on the trip.... fill me in.
anyways good to have you back... ive been buying a few bits on ebay, purely out of boredom,... scan is in 12 days...x.x. then u wont be able to stop me, lol. and those blimin nappies, i really want to buy them, but 280 pounds for 20 nappies... its scary, lol

my7thbabyduemay20th2008 - Saturday, 9 Feb
Hi honey!
I missed you, how have you been?
Thanks for the compliment on my photo, I took it the other week, thought I needed to change the pic, hehehe
Time is going so fast don't you think? the weeks are flying by, you are already nearly half way!
