Ever since I married my husband, he's been talking babies... now he's got one on the way!! We've been married since August '04, yeah, I made him wait over 3 years for this! We recently bought a house and were planning to start our family, luckily it didn't take too long. This is our first child and I'm worried about everything! We found out on 5-28 that we're having a little GIRL! She'll be the first grandchild on both sides of the family, so she's going to be one spoiled little brat!!

I know this may sound corny, but I think my husband's grandmother has been somehow involved in our lives. She passed away from cancer when Matt was 5, but she never let anyone forget he was the apple of her eye. We went to her gravesite to tell her we were engaged and that our intended wedding date was her birthday. Unfortunately, due to rules of that church, we had to move our date to the day before her birthday. Exactly 20 years to the day of her death, we found out I was pregnant. Here's the kicker... we had talked about baby names ever since we dated, but not really girls names. I had a dream about this super adorable girls' name and told Matt the next morning. He loved it. Then he told me why. His grandmother had asked his mom to use that EXACT name if she were to have any girls. Matt has 3 sisters, none of which have that name. And since we're having a girl, she's going to be named Gabriella Louann at the request of my husbands dearly departed grandmother.
