Hello, my name is Laura. My husband, Axel, and I have been TTC since August after we got married. I'm American and he's French and we live in Western France. I majored in French in college and came over here in 2002 after graduation to work in a french high school for a year or two to teach english, and learn french. And then at the beginning of my second year here I met Axel, and that's why I'm still here! It was only supposed to be a year or two and now it's been over 5! We're happy though, and now we're ready to start a little family!!
Monday April 28- Back to Reality, AF is here!! On CD 34, how awful is that!? Last month my cycle was 26 days and this cycle it's 34, what? Oh well, back to the drawing board :)
Sunday May 4- I have an appt. on Tues. with a gyno. To try and figure out why AF is sooooo inconsistent. We'll see....
Fri. May 9th- I've started charting my bbt, this is what my gyno says I should do for 3 months so she can see if I'm ovulating correctly. I probably should have started doing this sooner! On another good note, I got a very faint positive on a opk this afternoon! I hope it gets darker tomorrow! (I'm on CD12)
Fri. May 16- I'm happy because I've been charting on fertility friend (great website) and it's finally showing that I've o'ed. On day 15. I was worried because my temp. didn't seem to be going up, but it finally has started to. Day 15 was last Monday. So today I'm CD20, AF should come on day 29 if I O'ed last Monday. My bbs aren't sore but my nipples are, has anyone ever had this? I'm really not too excited though because this has already happened to me one month and I obviously wasn't pg!!

how it is coming along? well its stressful and painful sometimes. I have just come to the point where I have to just give this to God and allow him to help me. There is no medication that can get us pregnant onyl GOD can.
I know its going to happen and happen soon. I have to just keep moving forward and looking to him for my answers .

hi!!!! Just wanted to complain to someone that AF has STILL NOT SHOWN UP!! Going on a week now. grrrrrrrrr I'm worried that the cysts they found in November are starting to be mean to me :( They came out of the BLUE TOO!!! He said if I would have had them with the twins he would have seen them. They just... SHOWED UP!!! I've been praying that they just magically go away... and maybe they have... but.... me not getting my period is making my hopes CRASH!! I'm glad to hear you have been keeping busy!! Thinkin of you!

My bb's were very sore at work last night, and when I took off my bra, they were heavy and sore. That was a good sign last time as AF never makes my bb's sore or heavy. And then again, it could be from running. lol!

Yeah, I just took a test. My husband said, "Oh, it's already time?" And I said, "Of course not, I just like to test 3 or 4 times a day way before anything could show up." He laughs, and so do I. I hate the evaporation line. It tries to trick you.

Sounds like you have a nice little sanctuary - a view of the water and so close to the ocean. how nice! We live right up against the foothills, so the drive home from work in the morning is always beautiful.
I have been to every baby/pregnancy website, too! For some reason, this is one stuck out. I guess it's fun to see the week by week progress, as well as meet other women in those same waiting game as you are. Everyone has a story, and it's a nice connection.
Well, my super fun exciting plans are to work! I actually have to get ready soon - remember, I'm the night owl. I actually work 2 nights every weekend. My husband does, too. It works out well, we get to see each other a lot, and avoid crowds.

Its about the same. I have been sick with the sinus injfection and strep throat. I am praying i didnt miss our days to conviece. i have been sick and just not wanting to or so tired we wouldnt wake up.
So pray if we BD tonight we will concieve

i am okay....just over winter and over ttc...i am burnt out so even though i am still trying i have comes to terms with this taking awhile now.......how r you feeling? feeling defeated yet...?

I'm taking a hint from you, all us girls need to relax. (which is wayyyyy easier said than done) I'm seriously going to do some early spring cleaning. I also got a pedicure yesterday and I'm going to schedule a massage for this week. We all deserve a little pampering. :)

i hear ya, i hate waiting to o again after you find out...this time i only charted with the basal thermeter and i haven't done it right this round so i am sorta blind about when i ovulate...i have always ovulated on day 15..today..since may though...so, i think this will make me chill out a lot.....lol
i didn't get the opk this round cuz it gets silly...i will bd today and then i am done......
keep yourself busy with other things...and drink some wine or do something you couldn't do if you were pregnant......
presidents day isn't too far off...that should be around when you o right....
