Hello, my name is Laura. I am pregnant for the first time after TTC for 10 months! My husband, Axel and I are sooo excited! I'm American and he's french and we live in Western France. I came here in 2002 to work, met Axel and am still here! We just got married last August and are so excited to start a family of our own.

Monday May 26-

It's Confirmed by the blood test!!!

I'm pregnant!!

I think I got my BFP today! I'm so afraid to say that until I go to the Dr's to get the blood test! We've just been trying for so long I'm afraid it isn't true! But I have an appt. at the dr's this morning at 11 and I'll get a blood test! I'm so nervous but realllllllly excited!

July 21- We had our 1st big ultrasound today! (we got to see the heartbeat at 8 weeks, I'm 12 weeks today) It was so awesome, I couldn't believe how much the baby was moving around, it was awesome! All the measurements were perfect, she was 58mm long. And his/her heart was 153 bpm, we got to hear it, it was so beautiful! And all his fingers and toes were there. I'm still sick with morning sickness though, I reallllly hope it goes away soon, because I'm so sick of it. Our next ultrasound is Oct. 6, and we'll know the sex then, unless our dr. can see it before then, we get to have an ultrasound every month, it's awesome. It's late and I'm tired!

June 30- Well I'm in Ohio at my parent's house. The flight over went ok, it was the day afterwards that I felt so sick and tired. I'm in Week 9 now and so excited! I still have m/s and fatigue, I can't wait until they go away!! Sorry if I'm not on here much, I've just been so busy being here at my parent's house and seeing people. Bye for now ;)

Happy almost 4th of July!!

June 17- I feel like I've been sick nonstop for the last week, it's so horrible. I just can't stop throwing up and it's just completely draining me! Luckily it gets a little better in the late afternoon, and evening, but in the morning, and afternoon all I can do is lay on the couch, I feel like a prisoner in my house. So I went to see my dr. today and he gave me a prescription for something to take for the m/s. I realllllly hope it helps. Especially since next Tue. I'm going back to Ohio for 3 weeks. Flying should be fun, don't you think!! ughh. So I really hope I'm not sick like this while I'm home for 3 weeks! But at least I'll have my mom there to take care of me! But otherwise, I'm so happy to be at 7 weeks! It's going fast already. And we have our appt. with the ob/gyn next Mon. I really hope we get to see the heartbeat!

June 10- Yesterday was the first day of 6 weeks for me! And the morning sickness has started in full force, yuck! Yesterday I could hardly do anything at all. And this morning I threw up again, but I forced myself to go out and get some air with a friend. My mom said to try reg. coke, usually I buy coke zero, and I tried that today and it really seems to be working! (hopefully!!) I think it's the sugar. So, I guess as crappy as I'm feeling, it must mean the baby is growing right? lol

June 5- Time for an update! I'm in my 5th week now, and I just started to really feel the nausea yesterday, ugh. I guess it's comforting to have pregnancy symptoms. And I just have to keep telling myself, I'd rather have M/S than AF! And my bbs are starting to get sore, nothing dramatic though. And of course I'm so tired, I have hardly any energy! There is a really nice trail near my house that I like to walk on sometimes, and I've been going there to walk lately, it feels good to be outside. I'm going to try and walk everyday. Other than that I'm just really happy to be pregnant!!
