Hello, my name is Laura. My husband, Axel, and I have been TTC since August after we got married. I'm American and he's French and we live in Western France. I majored in French in college and came over here in 2002 after graduation to work in a french high school for a year or two to teach english, and learn french. And then at the beginning of my second year here I met Axel, and that's why I'm still here! It was only supposed to be a year or two and now it's been over 5! We're happy though, and now we're ready to start a little family!!

Monday April 28- Back to Reality, AF is here!! On CD 34, how awful is that!? Last month my cycle was 26 days and this cycle it's 34, what? Oh well, back to the drawing board :)

Sunday May 4- I have an appt. on Tues. with a gyno. To try and figure out why AF is sooooo inconsistent. We'll see....

Fri. May 9th- I've started charting my bbt, this is what my gyno says I should do for 3 months so she can see if I'm ovulating correctly. I probably should have started doing this sooner! On another good note, I got a very faint positive on a opk this afternoon! I hope it gets darker tomorrow! (I'm on CD12)

Fri. May 16- I'm happy because I've been charting on fertility friend (great website) and it's finally showing that I've o'ed. On day 15. I was worried because my temp. didn't seem to be going up, but it finally has started to. Day 15 was last Monday. So today I'm CD20, AF should come on day 29 if I O'ed last Monday. My bbs aren't sore but my nipples are, has anyone ever had this? I'm really not too excited though because this has already happened to me one month and I obviously wasn't pg!!

yay for a/f still not showing up for you......i really do have a good feeling......it has been really nice here...i was kinda sick today so couldn't enjoy it...o well......
mount carmel is where i plan i going...it is like 10 minutes away and my doc is in pickerington and i live a town over.....so this weekend we should know about you......wow, our cycles are far about from each other again.....funny how that works........let me know as soon as you know anything.......

hey there i got home last fri night...it has been so hard to drive up to the hospital 2x a day and figure out people to watch the kids and i cant drive till next mon so i also have to find people to drive me!!!! oh i hope this is your month let me know if you test!!!!

Well....I broke down and told my mom. I couldn't keep it from her anymore....I see her everyday pretty much, and she was speculating about my cousing be pregnant. LOL!! It was just too much! Her reaction was kinda weird.... I think she is nervous because I will have my hands full... but she's really excited that they will be out visiting when the baby's born.

Hey maury thanks for your confidence but I just cant help but think af is on her way...the pain are a dead give away....When I was pregnant with my first child I had no pains so I just knew I was and same with my second...I had a misscarriage a few months ago as was getting all the symptoms and a + hpt but lost it and I always get the pains + my mother inlaw says not this month, call me weired but she just knows....if you know what I mean. Will take a test at night on the 29th if she doesnt show by 1pm I really do hope for a bfp....when is af due for you?

ps, we have the amnio on May 14th so we'll know the next day if it's a boy or girl. We have an ultrasound this Friday and I'm going to beg them to look really really hard to see! I guess you might be able to see boy parts - or so I've heard - if you know the difference between that and the umbilical cord. My friends and I didn't and at first we were like, holy cow that's a big boy! lol/

ahhhhh! I got total goose bumps reading that your stomach is rumbling!! I had that sour stomach (and still do!!!) right away plus annoying lower back aches. I was really really crabby towards everyone but my husband and dog, too. I know you don't want to get your hopes up, but get them up!!! Because it's exciting and fun and part of the journey!!!@!! (and you're totally allowed to get them up without anyone knowing!!) Ok, enough rambling, but I think this is your month! Maybe your Mom had some good luck baby energy!!!
It was soooo fun doing the ultrasound at work with all my friends. I'll have to find out from my Doctor, but I don't want to do them if they are harmful for the baby. It helps me to see the baby and try and realize that it's inside me - helps bond!

Bleeding/spotting has completely stopped...yeah!! It was so nerve racking! I have some waves of morning sickness every now and then, but nothing too terrible (well, there was one bad episode....but it hasn't been common, so I'm ok!) Haha...I would love to be able to keep a secret that long....but I seriously don't think I could!! How are things going there? When do you get to test??

let me know when and if she comes and how long you will wait to test.....if it were me i always wait til she is super late....like day 32.....i hate those negative tests...so sad...........
but if she comes....we are in this together.......i ovulate on may 6 i think..so i still have a while to try this round....it will go fast though.......

Yes, I do have a little bump! But keep in mind I've never had a flat stomach - lol. My jeans still fit but they are soooooo tight in the tummy area. I have to use a rubber band around the button and through the button hole to make room. AF better stay away for you.................

awww, i just love ya......cuz i do feel like really trying this month...but i think i know when i ovulate so i think i can make it happen...or at least make the spermies avaiable.....btw a/f came today....no biggie....remember we didn't really try last time cuz hubby got nervous...i think he is better this round....i will just wear somthing neat for him around that time and not mention ovulation and all that...lol
yeah, the weather is amazing here this week...i think we will get some rain this weekend....well, i hope a/f stays away from you...i will try to keep her in ohio...lol...but it you aren't pregnant atleast you won't have a christmas baby........that is what i told myself anyways...now i am shooting for end of january.....fun fun..........

just remember that if you do the ovulation kits they could be positive 3 days before you really ovulate......pay attention to cm ;)
yeah, i have to look at my calendar to know the day of my cycle...lol
i use to always know......i guess we are official chilled out more about it.......i am on day 27 and no a/f YET
but who knows......lol
so glad i have you.....if cracks me up that you seem closer then you are to me just cuz you are from here too......if that makes sense...
