Hello, my name is Laura. My husband, Axel, and I have been TTC since August after we got married. I'm American and he's French and we live in Western France. I majored in French in college and came over here in 2002 after graduation to work in a french high school for a year or two to teach english, and learn french. And then at the beginning of my second year here I met Axel, and that's why I'm still here! It was only supposed to be a year or two and now it's been over 5! We're happy though, and now we're ready to start a little family!!

Monday April 28- Back to Reality, AF is here!! On CD 34, how awful is that!? Last month my cycle was 26 days and this cycle it's 34, what? Oh well, back to the drawing board :)

Sunday May 4- I have an appt. on Tues. with a gyno. To try and figure out why AF is sooooo inconsistent. We'll see....

Fri. May 9th- I've started charting my bbt, this is what my gyno says I should do for 3 months so she can see if I'm ovulating correctly. I probably should have started doing this sooner! On another good note, I got a very faint positive on a opk this afternoon! I hope it gets darker tomorrow! (I'm on CD12)

Fri. May 16- I'm happy because I've been charting on fertility friend (great website) and it's finally showing that I've o'ed. On day 15. I was worried because my temp. didn't seem to be going up, but it finally has started to. Day 15 was last Monday. So today I'm CD20, AF should come on day 29 if I O'ed last Monday. My bbs aren't sore but my nipples are, has anyone ever had this? I'm really not too excited though because this has already happened to me one month and I obviously wasn't pg!!

Well, that's okay if ya did, cuz I have been telling myself to relax and not think about it.. problem is... I don't listen!! :) I blame all these sites that feed my obsession!! Cheap pregnancy tests...cheap OPKs.....lots of other addicts talking CM all the time!! LOL Well, I will leave you with a lovely quote (courtesy of Always brand maxi pads) *Have a Happy Period*!!! (blehhh...what do they know??!!!)

Can this cycle just end already!!? My online chart decided to tell me that I o'd 16 days ago....not buying it. I am really frustrated....my cycles are never this bad, I think it's from stressing over them so much. It's hard not to though ya know? Well, you're probably gonna lap me with your cycles......I'll STILL be waiting to O and you'll be celebrating your baby's college graduation!! :)

i totally missed when i oed last month.....cuz my period was so late....i wrote down one day on my calendar when i was having crazy cm and i counted back from when a/f came and sure enough it was 14 days....and i didn't babydance at all around then...lol
so i wasn't even close last round...i guess i better buy some opks this round then.....
at least you can try again in 14 days...our cycles r trying to get closer cuz we r friends.... :)

That stinks....I'm sorry!! Well, I guess the positive side is your cycle is back to 28 days.... I used to have 28 day cycles *sigh* This means though that you should O around CD12-14ish. When I had 28 day cycles....I would BD CD11-15 ish and it worked pretty well!! Good luck to you this next month..... drink some extra wine for me! (STILL waiting for O and it's CD26!!!!!!!!!) I have no willpower and bought more OPKs last night :( I am such a sucker. Have a great weekend!!! Don't worry about it having been 6 months either.... give it a few more tries (I'm sure it will happen really soon!!) And don't worry about all those preggo people around you either, when their babies are bigger and older, you'll have your new tiny one!!

wine sounds likea great idea...my friend was really ttc really hard for 1.5yrs and whenever af would show she would do something she could if she was prego...so drink away girl...i hope your cycle is 28 days....that will make you o sooner!!! i am still praying for you girl!!!

i am feeling much better today about everything and i am excited to try again...that one got me down a lot.....darn a/f being that late...lol

I kind of think it's good I can do this here, it keeps me from telling people im pg -its still so early and I just want to tell everyone. I'm officially baby nuts. So, it's about 1045 AM here - what time is it for you?

Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you I'm pregnant with a hippo. Sorry I didn't share that with you earlier. :)

I'm officially 5 WEEKS PREGGO!!!

Ok, the backache is a good thing. I was confused because I had started running, too (PS - congratulations on running- that's so healthy! I also think that exercising takes away so much stress that probably interferes with conception) I thought my backache was just from running - but it was probably from implantation. And my boobs were tingly, too. Again, I thought it was from running. So I was actually really surprised that I was pregnant.

Got my hair done today, and my girl asked if anything was new, trying not to *ask* hey are you knocked up. So I told her!! It was so fun telling her. I just want to tell everyone. I'm giddy. :)

Have you had any heartburn or nausea?????

I'm so excited!

Yeah, the only problem with charting BBT is that it only tells you after the fact that you have O'd....it gives no advanced warning. That's what I like about the OPKs...they let you know it's time to get down to bussiness!! BUT they are also hard to read, and they start costing too much money if you buy the better ones! (Not to mention the added stress of seeing negative after negative! argh) With the ferning microscope, you put saliva on the lens and let it dry, then you look at it through the magnifying lens, and if it shows a ferning pattern (looks like fern leaves) it is supposed to mean you are fertile and about to O in the next few hours-days. The pattern is caused by salt in your saliva that is present in high amounts when your estrogen is peaking right before O. I have had ferning the past 4 days in a row.... so we will see if it works! (Sorry for the novel!!) I hope your symptoms are valid... a BFP would be awesome! (Then you really could be done with all this silly fertility monitering!!!!!!!!!)

bb's are the first thing people notice it seems. The good news is that my bb's had that feeling, and then it would go away. I was thinking, ' well, I'm not this month.' and then I would try to talk myself into 'well, that's good because I didn't want to be pregnant all summer...' basically trying to talk myself into believing I didn't *care*. Hey, congrats on the running! I think that's so awesome and I think all of the new exercising might mask your pregnancy symptoms. At least that's what happened to me. Have you had any lower backache? Any signs of implantation?
Yeah, I'm super happy that the place I'm going to is so caring. My husband feels really good about them, too. Did I tell you I'm still drinking one cup of coffee? I just kind of need the kick start. I really wish I'd start getting more symptoms, rather than just sore and big boobs. (well, and some other things, but the morning sickness has been minimal. Now granted I'll only be 5 weeks tomorrow....but YAY for 5 weeks!! Keep me updated.

lol yes it is like 250am here but i have a terrible stomach ache...i wound up going to L&D because my bh contractions were real ones...whoops but they were easily stopped with the shot...but the shot has made me very very naustios...eww...luckily i was sent home with meds to use on a as needed baises so i feel better about that...how are you feeling...any new or better prego symptoms??
