Hello!!

I am pregnant with my first baby. My hubby and I have been together 15 years. We started trying to coneive earlier this year...We thought it took forever, but I am now learning that 5 months is quick! I am currently 11 weeks pregnant. We have had several Ultrasounds...I am learning that my Doctor loves to give them. (AWESOME). We just had one yesterday and the baby was very active, my doctor said I should be able to feel him/her soon. She set up another ultrasound next week so we can hear the heartbeat...we can see it and it is fast and beautiful...Now we just want to hear it!!! It will be the best Birthday present ever...to hear my babys heartbeat!! I turn 30 next week!!! OMG!

I can not wait to meet this lil one; we have waited a long time for this!!!

Let's see... I am now 16 weeks preggo...And really starting to show. Actually I don't think I can hide it. It is very exciting and scary at the same time.
I was on bed rest for 2 weeks due to a low lying placenta. That has now fixed itself. This coming Monday I have my AFP test. I am bit nervous for that...and very anxious to get the test results back.
At my 15 week scan my Perinatal Specialist noted an Echongenic Bowel with the baby. This is most likely caused by my bleeding from the low-lying placenta. (The baby swallows the blood and it show brigt on the scan)...It is also a marker for Downs. So, my hubby and I are obviously nervous.
I am feeling very good. I get tired if I over do it, and I have terrible heartburn.
I will follow up back up soon!!

*Sigh* I got the call from the Dr's office that I have been waiting for all week. My AFP test has come back NEGATIVE for Downs or Spinal Bifida. I cried as soon as I heard the goods news. The marker for the echogenic bowel really had me so scared...
I am 17 weeks today!!

Well today I am 18 weeks. I have felt a few flutters at night, and I thought I felt a thud the other night when I woke up to go potty----been doing that at least twice a night!
I have been feeling good...and of course still get tired pretty quickly. I a little nervous about weight gain, my Dr was not happy about me putting on 8lbs so far...ugh...but I am trying to be more active. I am sure being on bed rest for 2 weeks didnt help my metabloism.
We have another Dr appt on the 6th with the perinatal specialist and than an OBGYN appt on the 10th. Can't wait to see our little girl again!!!

Yes!! I have been on bed rest for 8 weeks...I am sore and achy!! But love it!!

Tough. I have been on bed rest 8 weeks straight and a total of 11 weeks. I have 7 more weeks of bed rest to go...and than we will see!! I have had a pesky cervix and placenta previa.

WHAT WAY IS THE BABY LAYING AT THE MIN??? TRANSVERSE, BREECH OR HEAD DOWN?
Breech...per Dr's appt yesterday.

LASTLY....... WAS THIS PREGNANCY PLANNED?

We tried and tried for 5 months. PLANNED!!

Update time!! Last week I went to Perinatal Specialist and was told that my cervix was short and that I measured 3.1 (The norm is 3.5).

This Tuesday the 11th I went to see OBGYN and she said that as long as I was above 3.0 she was not concerned. However she wanted me to start moving around more and getting more excerise...I have gained abput 20 lbs. eeek

Today the 12th, I had a follow up with Perinatal specialist for my cervix. My measurements today came back at 2.8; which is well below the 'Norm'. I am not on bed rest until next Thursday the 20th. If my cervix gets longer at least above 3.0 i will still need to stay on bed rest but willmost likely not need surgury. Today they had me hooked up to test for contractions and I did not have any. So Dr was very happy!!

I brought my mom with me to see baby at Perintatal office, and I am so glad I did. She was great, and asked a lot of questions that I didn't even knwo to ask...that is what moms are for. (My mom had many pregnancy issues as well)

We got a sneak peak with a 3D U/S...Got to see my little ones face!! very cute!! She still had her little legs crossed at her ankles and kept putting her hand sin her face. I think my mom was in shock...as they didn't have these things when she was preggie with me!

I will follow up again soom!! Wish me luck my Cervix gets longer!! GO CERVIX!! (never thought I would say that LOL)

Today is Christmas Eve...Still on bed rest due to my short cervix. It has gone from 2.7 to 3.4...Dr. is keeping me on house arrest until the 4th, than he will re-measure again. Hopefully my pesky cervix will lengthen permantaly. I really want to start getting up and around. I have put on about 22lbs...EEKK I am not as worried about the extra weight, more the fact that I have not been active for most of this pregnancy...I don `t want to be too winded during labor!! I have been feeling Sweet Pea a lot lately. I get nervous when I don `t feel her.Had a cold this past week...now the darn cold is in my chest...So, I ave a wicked cough and my throat is getting sore again!!Well, I have been laying low for awhile, now I am going to get up for about an hour and make more cookies!!MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

Today is my 24 Week Doctors apt (HAHA Not that I do not see another Dr allmost every week). But today is my OBGYN Appt...I am a little nervous as today I am suppposed to do my Glucose Tolerance Test...and of course get weighed!! Gettiing weighed actually freaks me out more, as being on bed rest for the last4 weeks...doesn `t make it easy to stay fit!! Wish me luck....

25 Weeks TODAY!!I took my glucose test on Monday...and I passed with flying colors. I also got a negative for my pre-term test!! I spoke in length with my Dr about Strep B, and how I WANT and NEED antibiotics regardless of how I test at delivery...This is just a preccaustion!!!! I have a good friend of mine that her 7 week old daughter is in NICU with Menegitis due to strep B...and my friend tested negative a week before delivery!!My cervix is down to 2.48 the lowest it has been!! Dr has me on STRICT bed rest...I go bcak on the 17th for another follow up...Baby is doing great..and kicking and moving around like crazy!! She is going to be such a handful!! LOVE HER SO MUCH

Okay well tomorrow I will be 26 weeks... Time flies when you are having fun!! Or lay around staring at your walls (Love bed rest...NOT) LOLOkay, so I went to Perinatal Dr today and cervix has lengthen to 2.6 from 2.4...So, not great but getting better!!Hubby went with me and got to see Sweet Pea...she was very active. The tech tried to see if she was `Practicing breathing ` but we didn `t catch her in the act if she did....I guess they start at this point. In a few weeks she should be doing it all the time.Dr still have me on bed rest. He wants me to hold off until 8 weeks...like I really have control LOL... He told me at least 8 more weeks on bed rest...I told him no problem...She is the boss...I already made it 6 weeks straight what is another 8 LOL!!!I go back next wednesday for a follow up and a fetal fibretin test!! JOY JOY

Well I went to Perinatal Dr again today. Had a Fetal Fibrecton test and checked my cervix again. I get the test results back tomorrow on the FFN test. My cervix is shorter!! I am now down to the lowest 1.9. The Dr has me on Terbutaline to slow/stop contractions that are thinning out my cervix. This medicine is makingme very jumpy and shaky. I have had such an issue with sleeping...I am afraid this will seriously hinder that more. I have to take one 2.5mg tablet every 8 hours!! Dr has assured me that baby will be fine! Poor little sweet pea. She is getting big. They didn `t tell me her weight today, but told me I should find out at next weeks scan (27 weeks). We did catch her `Practicing ` her breathing today. So cute! She was again going crazy on the monitor and does not care for being constricted by the bands!!My baby shower invitations went out today!! I am just hoping no labor before shower on 3/1/08. i can not wait to see what the girls have planned.I also recieved an email that my Changing table will be here Monday!! whoo hoo... Floors are going to be installed this Saturday...than we (Hubby) can start decorating!!!My friend had be baby on Sunday!! She just sent me pictures...so beautiful!!

Got my test results back for the Fetal Fibrecton test... NEGATIVE!! WHOO HOOOGetting super excited about the nursery! The crib and changer should be here on Monday (If BRU didn `t screw it up) and the floors get put in on Saturday!! Okay...off I go back to bed to bake baby!!

I am really freaked out today. My mom had to re-take her mammogram scan today, and it came back that she does have a nodule. They are having her go in next Wednesday for a biopsy. i am just so scared for her.Please add her to your prayers!!

Daddy finsihed the Changing Table/Dresser today!! Check out the knobs...so much better than the wood knobs it came with...don't ya think!! Now it is onto decorating....hmmm on bed rest (no easy task I am sure)

At my Doctors appt on the 28th my cervix was up to 2.2...so some improvement since I have been on the terbutaline. I am begining to get the worst case of heartburn. I am so miserable. I have tried....tums, aloe, baking soda and Zantac. I just can not get any relief...Actually the only thing that does help are milkshakes...but I seriously can not eat them everyday!!!Going to see OBGYN on MOnday for 28 week check up and to discuss Rh Shot...than going to Perintatal Dr on Tuesday to remeasure cervix!!!

Well, went to OBGYN on Monday and all is good. She is having me take another Glucose test on the 19th...I guess this is due to my weight gain... 9lbs this month!! OMG!! I passed the other one...so I hope all goes will with this one.I went to Perinatal Dr today to have my crvix re-measured. Still 2.2, but as long as it doesn `t get any shorter...I am a happy girl! I am still on bed rest... 6 more weeks until Dr re-evaluates my bed rest status. I hope to be able to be more active...I am so weak!!My heartburn has been out of control, but since I upped my dose of Xantac yesterday i am feeling so much better!!!Baby Shower is 3 more weeks away!! Oh and we haave scheduled a 3D/4D ultrasound this coming Saturday!! Can `t wait...bring the whole family!!!!!!!!

I am 29 Weeks today (2days before 30)Went this past weekend for a 3D/4D ultrasound. So awesome. Too bad sweet pea was putting her hands and feet in her face...this was distorting the picture. It was justreally awesome letting my parents and hubby `s parents...and my sis(that drove all the way down 3 hours) to see it!!I went to my Perinatal Dr today. He did another Fetal Fibrectin Test...NEGATIVE!! So, I will be labor free for at least another 2 weeks.As for cervox...down to 1.5!! So, he is keeping me on my Terbutaline and extending my bed rest to 37 weeks. So, 8 more weeks of BED REST!!I can `t complain...she is healthy and doing great. So, I am all about keeping her that way!!!

Well, I am 30 weeks! Went to OBGYN yesterday and took my 2nd glucose test...still waiting to hear test results. I did however learn that my ketones were high and that I need to eat more (I can `t win) I only gained 1 pound so Dr was happy about that...(Again...can `t win)I went to Perintatl Dr today and my cervix has measured 1.7; a little better than last week. They also did the baby measurements and she is 3.6 pounds!! Getting so big! I was told that after 34 weeks I can attend birthing classes!! Whooo hooo

Well I am 33 Weeks!! whoo hoo...It has been a very long road thus far.I went to OB and PN this week, took a few tests. I had to have a liver enzyme/liver function test due to a rash that decided to overcome my body (Itchy and insane, I am thinking it is PUPP....which is hormone induced and no cure!! Nothing like bed rest and itching LOL) I also had another FFN test that came back negative...so that gives me a nice 2 week window for no labor...I think that is the last FFN test I will get, as I read no more after 34 weeks.I am still going to be on bed rest until week 37 APRIL 4!!!!!!! Hmmm...that sounds like a nice birthday 4-4-08!!, maybe she will come than? plus my sis will be in town!!I had my baby shower this past Saturday. Our family abnd friends out did themselves. We seriously have nothing to buy, and if we do I think all the Gift certificates will cover it!!I hope to go shopping after my bed rest, hopefully she will stay put so that I can get the final touches together.I am going to start washing all of her new clothes this week...and pack the hospital bag!! I can `t believe the time is getting near!! WHOO HOOOO

Okay, so cervix is down to 0.7!!!!! Dr is not freaking out, but says stay lay down and no activity!The bigger the baby gets the shorter the cervix....So, I am just going to roll with the punches....Dr said my cervix could hold me till 39 weeks, but most likely at 37 weeks when he takes me off Terbutaline, it will only be a short matter of time before she is here!!! I am super excited about that!! But not excited about LESS activity...Oh well really only 3 more weeks.

Holy Heartburn!!I am having a very hard time sleeping due to this heartburn issue. I learned quickly that Chocolate is a big no no...but I am still weeding through the rest of the food groups...Even water is a nightmare, and if I don `t drink enough...than on come the contractions!!Complaints - LOL: Heartburn, Numb and tingly arms, hands and fingers, trigger finger, back pain and exhaustion, baby getting stuck under my ribs, peeing constantly, constipation!! and...BED REST!!On to the wonderful things: Little Sweet Pea is so active and such a character...I can just tell. I can `t wait to meet her. She is growing perfectly and I couldn `t ask for anything more. I love feeling her swish and move around...I love laying with my hubby chatting about what we thing she will look like and who `s traits she will take...and just the excietment of having her and all the new experiences we will get to have because of her!Hubby for the past few weeks has been stressed about baby...now he is begging me to get off bed rest and have her already...First I though that it might be becsue he is over handling all the house hold duties, but now I I realize that he truely just wants to meet his little girl!! I see him in the nursery all the time re-folding things, wiping down furniture and admiring his little girls room.Can `t wait to meet you Emma!!We are going to the Drs this coming Wednesday for cervix check...But on April 1st we go to both OB and Perinatal Dr. At Perinatal Dr the baby wil be measured and we will learn her weight and hopefully pardon me from bed rest...and at OB I am hoping to discuss birthing options and perhaps...shall I say it INDUCTION? LOL

I AM 6 MONTHS!!!

I had uti during my 1st tri, I had no clue either, no discomfort nothing. had to take antibiotics for 10 days and it was fine. I just posted a msg saying I feel like this baby is going to come out of my throat, :) he feels so high, maybe theyre just getting longer? I was kinda excited at the thought of meeting my girlfriends, but now I think Im going to sleep in the middle of my meal! my schedule is so crazy suddenly, its like ppl were waiting for me to get preggo rather waiting for my 3rd trimester to throw all this work on my lap, I actually had a life before u know :) waiting for my mom to land up, my brothers also coming, hes seeing this girl who my mom hates, so theres going to be this huge heavy discussion/argument during my delivery and Im sooo not looking fwd to it, am trying to stay out of it, but its dificult to do so. wish me luck!!

Oh myyy! I know exactly what you mean, I really forced my tired hubby to assemble the crib yesterday and checked it a 100 times! Hes feelign sorry for me these days, I had a full day training yesterday for which I realized I had a 4 hour online pre-course work at 10pm the previous night, I swear I could scream!!! so poor DH sat (slept actually) next to me for company while I did it. Today Im meeting a bunch of girl friends for dinner, am so sleepy all the time these days, just woke up some hrs ago too! My ILs have come up w/25 names, need to take a look at those! hows lil Hope doing? Its so close now...

awesome news on baby...see if I were you I'd take that as a cue to say hee off bed rest I go. but that is BAD don't do what I would do. :) I'm sure I'll end up in labor this weekend. I've got an Easter party planned with lots of people showing up...sounds like my luck I'll go into labor.

Funny about the grooming. I'm very visual so that really made me laugh.

well rest for the both of us I'm buried after not working yesterday, I'd love to curl under my desk and nap.

well I'm still living but man did I want to die. I swear I thought I was going into labor. My back ached sooo bad and stomach cramps...imagine how odd I looked eight months pregnant curled around our toilet. I'm sure it would have made headlines if I would have died. 'Beached whale found dead trapped inches away from water' I'm still very woozy today, but at least baby is still in and I'm still alive.

I did tell you I'm a drama queen.

I go to the doctor next Wednesday. So I have a while to wait. I keep timing them and if they have any consistency, I will probably go to the hospital to get it checked out. I think it might be too much stress. LOL

So I had my baby shower on Sun. The pile of stuff in the nursery has grown again! We got lots of cute girly stuff. I really need a dresser so I can put everything away and bring some order to that room. The nesting instinct in me is going crazy about the room. I guess I am going to order a dresser and chest from Ashley's (since hubby works there). My belly is getting pretty itchy now and I actually have to put more lotion on in the middle of the night even though I put it on before bed. Its like I keep adding on stuff to do during my pee breaks in the night. Pretty soon I'll be switching out the laundry and loading the dishwasher before I go back to bed. LOL. I wish I could do that while I'm sleeping like productive sleep walking or something.

Anyway sorry your MIL is still crazy, she just sounds so controling. Does she interact with your mom much? Hopefully she's nice to her. My hubbies grandparents went out and bought all the furniture and bedding and everything for Tanner's nursery without asking how we planned on decorating. Needless to say I wasn't pleased and my mom thought they were nuts to have done it. But luckly for us they live out of state and didn't visit often so we were able to use the furniture and then we used the bedding and decorated how we wanted. I mean seriously how do you plan someones nursery for them! Anyway totally past all that.

I actually made Tanner a 'big Brother' shirt and put it on him as a way of announcing my pregnancy to some of the family. But its gotten too small for him (god I feel like I've been preggo for years now, I swear I'm having an elephant). He seems to be excited for the baby to come, but we'll see once he's not the center of attention anymore. I think he'll do okay maybe a bit too helpful. He wanted to 'take the baby out' for the baby shower. But was satisified with opening the presents to help me. And good god did he tear into them. I couldn't get him to open much Christmas & Birthday but man did he tear into the gifts this time.

I guess I'm going to go make our bed and wake up hubby who is snoring on the couch and put him to bed. Sometimes I feel like I'm having a third child, you know! At what age do boys grow up and mature? My hubby went out last night and drove himself home completly trashed. He pretty much stumbled in the door and passed out in our bed. Then puked (After I left for work) this morning and went to work at like 11:30am and puked more there. So he's been hung over all day and you know what I don't feel sorry for him. Ha grow up your not 21 anymore! Sorry I'm being mean. I'm just tired of being the responsible one & getting left at home while he goes & does his thing. Sorry emotional pregnant lady here. Have your hormones been out of wack lately? I've been all weepy and sad lately. I don't have a clue why. Anyway I really am going to go make our bed now. (Had to wash our sheets after booze stinky hubby slept in them). Talk to you later.

I found some nursing bras at Target, wasnt the best fit, nothing ever feels like a good fit now when bb's are resting on the belly :-/. I got nursing pads so Im counting on those for padding and helping it look slightly better. Hows your carpal tunnel? Still hurting is it? Is it related to pregnancy? I think it is? Hubbys bday was nice, we went out for dinner and a movie. yawn yawn, so sleepy noww, its 6pm now, think Ill go home now :) yesterday after a month of eating out, I cooked for the whole week (regretted it soon after ;), my feet were aching so BAD!!), but its nice to think of home made food tonight...

Holy Heartburn Batman! LOL! Me too. Today is terrible. I have diarrhea too. It's often a sign of appending labor, but I think I am just having more trouble keeping regular and it's probably not a 'sign' this time. I am not getting much rest, but I did pack the baby's hospital bag and get the car seat all ready to go in the car. I also transfered a bunch of o-3 months clothes from storage to the baby's drawers. It wasn't rest, but it did feel great. I love looking at all those tiny articles. hee hee I feel better being a little more prepared now. I wonder how I'll feel tomorrow? I hope the heartburn will go away for the both of us.

Resting is kind of hard when there are renovations being done. My little girl's room is not even done. I am so anxious to have it done before she gets here.

I don't have my bags packed or anything done. My house it torn apart. It is so frustrating when all I can do is sit and watch. Now these past 2 days I have been contracting horribly. They really hurt and I must be having about 10 an hour. I hope this doesn't mean anything. I need to stop stressing. My husband promised me he would have the room done. I just have to trust him. LOL

How about you? Have you been resting. It is really hard to do at the end of the pregnancy when there is so much to be done. I just sit here thinking about all that I need to do! I want her here so bad but I want to have her room done before she get here.

The joys of bed rest. LOL

hmmm hospital bags...you will want cosmetics that you wear...remember the pictures will capture all those wonderful moments of mommy 'LOOKING LIKE CRAP' is how I fondly recall mine. CHAPSTICK!!!! enough said about that. if you ever use hair ties or scrunchies (I'm a scrunch queen at home) you'll want one to keep your hair out of your face. CAMERA!!!!! Don't forget that!!!!! I grabbed a few sample packets at walmart of shampoo, conditioner, lotions. But I know most hospitals have those things.

As far as baby goes...they pretty much will give you everything you'll need. (well actually they do that for you too) If you are going to use a pacifier make sure you have the one you want to use and tell the nurses. Sometimes they give crappy ones at the hospital and then of course baby ends up liking that one best.

NURSING BRA!!! Wear it to the hospital! Most of the time they make you strip naked and wear their nasty gowns...I like my bra and I like to have some support (refer back to ugly mommy comment) I will be wearing a bra this time :)

So in my bag I have...slipper sole socks, sweats, (shirt I'm undecided on still) hair srunch and a clip, makeup and shap/cond/lotion/chapstick.

In babies bag I've got, pink recieving blanket, super soft blanket (daddy picked it) short sleeved and long sleeved (premie) onsies. Picture outfit/bring home. booties, pacifier & I LOVE BABY LOTION. (some dr's and hospitals tell you not to use it...screw them I'm letting my baby smell absolutly baby!

I'm relying on the hospital for anything else...if not, like you I'm not that far from home or walmart.

Tell you what I'd like to find...the travel hard pack of wet wipes...I haven't been able to locate those.

I am home today and trying to relax, but my two year old is testing my patience. I consider myself a VERY calm and patient mommy, but some days are harder than others. I always put him down for his nap at noon and sometimes he falls asleep like a little angel, other times he cries and fusses and gets up and plays with toys and gets out of his room and puts on my lipstick and trashes the room and takes all the toilet paper someplace...etc. Today is one of those days. I have been up stairs at least 20 times, no exaggeration, to put him back in bed. The most frusterating thing about this struggle is that there would be no struggle at all if I just climbed in bed with him, but I have to snuggle him down and let him comfort himself to sleep in preparation for preschool and the new baby. If I didn't prepare him he would fall apart in those new situations. So i know I am doing the right thing, it's just far more taxing this way. Last month he was doing great, down at noon up at two, like a dream, but I think as the baby gets closer, Charlie gets more and more anxious about his role and being sure to get as much attention as possible.

heather, how u doing? how was weekend? I've bloated quite a bit this week and last! Saw 'Doomsday' on fri, it had bad reviews, but I liked it, some gory parts, but was ok. Other than that, I finished all my shopping for baby and myself (except waistband and velour track pants(for comfort) for after delivery). Taking it a bit easy at work these days, get very tired and stressed out otherwise and I want to enjoy this last 1 month.

It sounds like you have an 'Everybody Loves Raymond' situation over there. LOL! I can't imagine living next to my mother in law. I like her, love her even, but I cannot tolerate being around her very long. My mother is just as bad, but I know what to say and how to say it with her. I can tell my mom to 'shut it', I cannot say that to my husbands mother, I can't even say, 'actually I'd prefer to hold the baby before you do seeing as he will be MY newborn baby'. Instead I have to say, 'Oh! Well I am sure the baby will love that. I'll hand him to you right after I get that first nuzzle', and I pretend I am not totally pissed she'd even suggest being the first to hold him. LOL! Things like that...

To please my husband, I will go but I won't be happy about it. LOL I don't understand why she didn't ask me weeks ago if that was her plan all along? It is so frustrating.

I hope for your sake that as soon as you start to move you will go into labor. There is nothing worse than being on bed rest for weeks and then have to wait and wait for the baby to come. I have been contracting since 22 weeks and they really hurt but like you I bet I will be still pregnant at 42 weeks. LOL Murphy's law is right!!

I should have complained about the bedding sooner because it came today!!!! Yay I love it. I forgot what it looked like and then when I saw it I fell in love with it all over again. Now I have to push my husband to paint her room.

Well hello there, I'm not sure if my weekend was restful, but I enjoyed it. I feel horrible to talk on the weekly pages now because everyone is complaining and wanting to have there baby NOW. I just want to be pregnant for a few more months. :) Don't get me wrong, I am excited...I'm just worried. And thankfully I have nothing major to complain about. I get achy and acid reflux is always a joy...but I don't think that is too much to deal with when you have an entire child living inside you. :)

How is the bed rest coming (3weeks) woooo hoooo!!!!!!!!! I feel so bad for you being confinded for soooo long. Your hubby should have a plaque made for your patients...I'd have killed people by now!

I go to court next week with my ex...its really stressing me out. I don't even know what I'm suppose to say. Yes your honor the man that fathered my child and promised to love me forever is ruining my life. (sniff sniff) I'm such a drama queen. I think I'm more worried that they will let him off with less child support, because then I will be extremely resentful and not want to share our child at all. (what kind of man doesn't want to give his child the same life he has if not better) I don't understand so many things in life.

So are your bags packed? Are you ready? I started packing the babies bag and put some travel sized cosmetics in my bag...but I'm still a little torn on what to bring for her to wear. SO she has blankets. :)

You are too cute! hehe Well I hope you were able to get those curtains up! :) I will be sure to send you pictures of the baby room as soon as I have it done, unfortunatley we had another set back this weekend so I have just decided that I am going to go get a bassinet and figure out someonewhere to put her clothes for now b/c I am thinking it will not be done before she is here. Oh well, I decided I had to quit worrying about it soo much! hehe :) The only thing is we live in a shoe box (580 sq ft.) and I feel like we don't even have room for a bassinet and her clothes at this point. hehe

YAY! if you get off bed rest and your meds at 37 weeks then you don't have too much longer!!! YAY! You must be soo ready!! That is soo exciting. Maybe after you are lifted from bedrest you will get a good few days to get the finishing touches done on her room before she decides to make her enterance!! That would be great!

Did you see Chula's baby? OMG What a beautiful baby, it makes me soo excited and that much more anxious!!

How was your weekend? I didn't have any big plans, just hung around the house really. But, it was very nice to not have anything on the schedule!! Any plans for Easter??

The wedding was pretty good I guess. I did way too much this weekend, though, and felt it for sure. I had to take some terbutaline on sat. b/c I was contracting every 5 min. I hate that stuff...then my heart was racing, I was shaking, and anxious, and just felt gross. I just didn't get enough rest. Yesterday the contractions that I had felt stronger and more uncomfortable, but I decided to lay off the terb b/c it made me feel so bad the day before. Here recently, I haven't been able to sleep very well b/c I'm up and peeing every 2 hrs now during the night. I guess my body is preparing me for what's to come here in a few weeks. I don't think I'm having anymore FFN tests, my dr. told me no more past 34W, and no steroid shots past that time also. I'll be 34W on Thurs. and if nothing happens between now and then, I may have skipped the magnesium sulfate!!!! I'm excited about that one. How are you doing?

I am doing well. We are renovating our house right now and I feel so helpless just watching. It is most frustrating. As for a game plan, mine is the same as yours, just sit and wait. My contractions are coming harder and more frequent but my cervix is doing well. I am anxious to meet my little girl but I can wait a few more weeks. Especially, since her room is not done!! Plus, I have yet to receive her bedding in the mail yet. It has been weeks. Grr.. I am getting quite upset over that.

I am off bedrest at 36 weeks weeks. My Dr. told me that after that if I go into labor they don't do anything to stop it. I would like to hold her inside me until at least 38 weeks then I would be more comfortable having her. My son was born at 39 weeks and he was just 5lbs 13 oz. I am quite amazed that people in our week have babies that size. So the longer she is in there the bigger she gets. Which is fine by me. Wow, I chatted your ear off today. Sorry about that...

I'm on Terb too! Every four hours although they up my dose everyday so i have to give myself the demand doses alot. I just cant seem to stay down! The meds make me wanna get up and do something. Did they ever have you on Magnesium Sulfate? It was HORRIBLE!!! I was in the hospital all last week while they experimented with different meds. That one was so bad I couldnt move any muscles my husband, dad and little sister had to literally dead lift me off the hospital bed and hold me up while I went to the bathroom. It was pretty miserable, so as long as they dont put me back on that i am trying to be a happy camper! Good luck with the next few weeks!!! WE CAN DO THIS : )

How are things going? I noticed that your cervix has shortened. That sucks but only 3 more weeks is exciting. I have been allowed some movement because my cervix has seemed to stabilize but the contractions are getting worse. We are almost there! Yay
