Hello ladies!!

My name is La'Toya and this is my first baby! I'm sooo excited and nervous all at the same time. My husband, Ricardo and I have been married for 8 months and we are so happy that God has blessed us with a gift so great. I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with all of you! So far, so good. No morning sickness. I just have been really hungry. Food is soooo much better when you are preggo! I promise I had the best french fries in the world yesterday from Back Yard Burger! LOL! Last night I dreamed of my baby. It was the first baby dream, the rest of my dreams are usually about food. (Yeah, I know..... that's fat,....but true. LOL) Anywho, I dreamed I had a son and he was gorgeous and so sweet. I'm anticipating finding out what I'm actually having. I'm so excited and grateful to God, that he would choose me to carry someone so precious. Ok, I'm tearing up, let me stop... I go to the doctor next Tuesday, it's my second appointment. I'm excited and nervous. Pray for me. Peace

November 29- WEEK 13!!!

Hi ladies, I am finally in Week 13!!! YAY! I'm super excited about my baby and I can't wait until he/she starts moving! Since I've been pregnant I think about my baby day in and day out. I'm really loving this experience. Last night I had the best pizza in the world....it probably wasn't but it tasted like it. Anywho, I'll talk to yall later. Peace

Hi Ladies, I totally feel like crap today. I got sick this morning from gagging on my toothbrush! lol! It's funny but it's really not. The other night I dreamed about bar-b-que ribs and bar-b-que chicken!! Lawd!!! I could smell that food in my sleep! Okay, I just had another fat moment. Anywho, I go to the doctor tomorrow, so everyone say a nice prayer for me. I believe in my heart everything is find though, prayer never hurts. I have been craving fresh squeezed lemonade and chitterlings all day long! I'm asking my doctor tomorrow is it safe for me to have that. Lord knows I hope it is. I have to watch my blood pressure. I hope I feel better tomorrow. Hugs to everyone. Peace!

Hey ladies, I'm at home today. As you know I had my 2nd appointment yesterday and it went o.k. The doctor told me that my ketones were low so they have to run some more test. She told me I'm not eating enough. I guess I dream about food a lot more than I eat it. Speaking of which, last night I dreamed I was eating ox tails with hot sauce and green beans! HA! Crazy I know but they were good and I've never eaten ox tails. Anywho, I've come to the conclusion that I have the most loving and supportive husband any woman could ask for. I'm truly blessed. HAPPY NEW YEAR LADIES!!! This is my first entry for the new year and so much has happened. Well the pregnancy still has been very smooth. No complications of any kind. I still dream about food but not as often as I did at the beginning of my pregnancy. I'm 19 weeks and showing! My husband is still wonderful and very supportive. We went for "THE ULTRASOUND" and found out that we are having a BOY!!!! I'M SOOOOOO HAPPY!! That was great news for us although we would have been happy either way. I'm already soooo in love with our son and it's even more special because of the love I have for his father. I feel sooo blessed! Well he's named after his father, so his name is RICARDO DONOVAN MAXWELL, JR. I love that name. Well, that's all for now. Peace

Hey ladies! Donovan finally kicked me 2 days ago! It was the most amazing feeling in the world. I was laying on my back watching t.v. and he started kicking. It was absolutely beautiful. His dad was at work so he missed out. Nothing else has really been going on. I'm still feeling fine. I need to do better at monitoring my blood pressure. Other than that, pregnancy is great! I have been beyond blessed in this pregnancy. Peace

Feb. 18th

Hey ladies! I had a doctor's appointment to day with my high risk doctor and everything looks great. I go to this doctor for blood pressure. But whenever I go my blood pressure is wonderful 124/75. Trust me I'm not complaining it's just amazing. I'm really blessed and thankful that my high blood pressure has not effected my baby in any way. We were able to get at 4d ultrasound and he looks exactly like my husband!! What a handsome little man. I'm sooo excited. I love his kicks and punches. It's so reassuring. It's been a wonderful pregnancy. I hope everyone is experiencing the same. Peace!

Hey ladies! Just an update... I failed my first glucose test last week, which really sucked! So I have to go back for the 3 hour test tomorrow. So please say a prayer for me. I really don't want to have gestational diabetes, I mean... who does? LOL ! Other than that everything is going fine. I went to see a kidney specialist last week and I 'll get my lab results back this week. I'm sure everything is fine with that, my doctor is just extremely cautious. Nothing else has really been going on... I'm enjoying doing the housewife thing and time is rolling by. I can't believe I'm already 6 months preggo. It seems like yesterday, I was just buying a test. Anywho, that's all for now. Peace.

Hey ladies! I passed my 3 hour glucose test!!! YAY!! Praise Jesus! Also, my results from the kidney specialist came back normal. Everything is going along great. Donovan is moving sooooo much! I'm happy he's an active baby. Nothing else has really been going on. The doctor said I lost 3 pounds. I guess that's a good thing. Baby boy is healthy, so that's all that matters. Life is great.
