I am having my first child, my husband and I tried for alomst a year before we got the positive result. We can not be more excited!

We are having a boy !

Well I finally had him and he came on his own.. he did however came out sideways and he had a knot on his cord. The doc said that he was lucky to be alive, they almost had to have a c-section due to pushing for 3 and a half hours and he was in distress. But the doc help him out with a sution and he is healthy and very happy. I am so lucy and he is so perfect.

It was the hardest thing that I ever did, and I would do it again. More details later.

as far as your baby being big, ask your doctor what shap your pelvis is, my doctor says that there are two kinds, one that is a smaller v and then a wider v, im really small boned, but have a wider v so hopefully you do too!

god, well at least your doctor can sweep your membranes that means your further along than me...actually i am having VERY mild contractions right now, cuase i was dancing and squatting and doing high kicks in the nursery, im like baby please come out, trying to talk to him!! but seriously dancing around and jumping around really helps, .....well im sure they will be short lived..

there are so many things to happen still

mucus plug, bloody show, water breaking, contractions,,,god i think i may have lost a bit of my mucus plug but honestly nothing is happening!!!

i know, im so mad,
i went to get a nonstress test yesterday at the hospital and the nurse was like, oh he hasnt even fully droped yet huh?

my doctor says the the begining of my cervix i starting to open and is soft, but he tried to sweep my membranes but couldnt becuase the back part of it is still closed and tight, wtf!!

im going again on monday to discuse more of the induce stuff, and im going to ask him to try and sweep them again....

i started to take tons of the epo both internally and right on my cervix , cuase its a natural verson of the gel they used to start labour, so hopfully it will be softer by monday...

at least your doctor told you how much your baby weighs ..the nurse said oh, and it doesnt look like your having too big of a baby!! great i gained 45 lgs for nothing!

i tell you the second pregnancy would be so much easier, this is so hard the first time around!!

tuesday wow that so soon!
my date for induction is 23rd, i really hope he comes before that, and if he doesnt i really hope that the prostiglanden gel works so i dont have to get picotin(spelling) cuase i hear it hurts so bad and usually ends up with a c-section!
god, i was really looking forward to going into labour naturally ya know, like i was excited for it to start......

well hopefully you have your baby this weekend,

Me too, I go for an ultrasound on Fri and if all is well and still no baby by Monday, I will be induced Tues! Hopefully something happens in the meantime, but at least there is an end in sight. Max 6 more days, sigh!!

Nope no baby for me this weekend, I've given up!:) guess i will just clean the house,,,,again...

i do feel cramping and back ache that sort of stuff, but no contractions, last night and this morning i feel like i have the flu, like achy pelvis muscles how bout you, how do you feel. did you doctor give you a date that he will induce you by?

hey! god me too,i really want to have him this weekend cuase my boyfriend has to work out of town all week long, and is only home on weekends...so i have been trying to go for walks uphill and still only smaller contractions,

the doctor said that my cervix was soft and about 1 cm dialated but that my baby has turned so that his face is up and that i have to get him to turn around how am i supposed to that? hope your baby comes this weekend!!!

hmmm. it was like a little string of snot, no big chunk or anything like that.. no cramping, baby is moving.. i have a doctors appointment tomorrow i think i will wait until then and them tell him.

hey! i know, i hope that these cramps mean labour is around the corner, but ive been getting them for the past month, but i must say that since that long walk two days ago its been worse:) yeah!! i am just soooo tired of being pregnant, but im scared too, omg we are going to have a real baby 24/7 its soooo unreal, but so exciting, are you due on the 12th as well?

Nothing is going on here. This baby is not coming in the next week I donâ€™t think. :( As much as I want this to happen naturally, I think I am going to beg my Dr to induce me week after next and not make me wait the full 10 days after due date. My body is just getting wrecked these past few weeks!

I sure hope so! I just don't know when I'm supposed to call the dr...I mean I have a really hard time telling the difference between BH/cramps/contractions...guess I'll just know when it's time. So you're due the same date as me~are you dilated yet? Good luck :)

The Dr believes that my pelvis may be too small for my chunky baby girl to be delivered vaginally if I go to term or over term. They estimate that she weighs a little over 7lbs right now. and 2 Fridays ago her head was measuring at 33cm.

i know and i should change doctors but he was the only one that matched with our insurance reasons, hes a foreign guy so hes hard to understand! and even if i do ask i cant understand or he just says its normal! ugh well hopefully he knows how to deliver a baby even!!! but thank god i am almost done with him! thanks for the advice tho really helps!

That's fantastic news! There's so much less risk invloved with a natural birth so that's great. I hope I'm in the clear too. Had your placenta moved any further than last time? I think you mentioned it was 3cm away from the cervix. Mine's 2cm so I hope it moves in a week. Here's hoping...
