Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Thursday, 7 August hey there :) trust me i know how hard it is -- when i was writing to you i was getting all misty, lol! but anyway, i'm glad you're feeling better -- just take it one day at a time, just like you've been doing. my little guy turned 6 months on 8/5 and what a fun/busy/crazy 6 months it's been! take care of yourself and your little girl and stop by anytime if you want to talk.

Thursday, 7 August hey there. you are absolutely not a bad mom, at all. i work too and i know where you're coming from -- it's terrible to feel like you're turning your back on your baby 'just' to go to work. but you are not turning your back. one of my friends had a little boy a couple of years ago and told me that one of the worst things was when her son cried when she left him at daycare - she just felt like utter sh*t. but she had to work, so she had to leave him with daycare. she knew that, other than the crying, he loved being at daycare and seeing the workers there and his friends. and now he's 2 1/2 years old and an extremely happy, friendly, social little guy who loves meeting new people and whom people love. i know it's hard and when my son seems sad when i leave in the morning, i feel really bad about it. but the babies are really okay and, in fact, babies that spend time in daycare seem to be a lot more outgoing while still loving their moms and dads. anyway, what i really want to say is that your baby knows you love her and she will be okay. Friday, 13 June Do what you feel most comfortable with as far as vaccinating your child goes. For me, I just felt better splitting the shots up- I am not saying one way is better than the other. And if I can get all the shots in within the time frame they should be received, then why not split them? So Many Decisions, Decisions....LOL! it can be very confusing

Tuesday, 10 June Also...if you put tha diaper rash ointment and then some pure cornstarch! Not baby powder with corn starch...just tha corn starch cuz it has perfume and can irritate the skin even more. You should see results tha next day! sonya75 -
Friday, 6 June I've had luck with bad diaper rash using either Beudroux's Butt Paste or Triple Paste. You should be able to find both at a drug store. My pediatrician always recommended the Triple Paste, so I'd try that one first. Also make sure you change her frequently & give her time to air out before putting cream on her. YolandaLee -
Friday, 6 June Could it be thrush on her bottom? cj -
Thursday, 5 June I use penatin creme, it works. Your baby might be teething - it's a sign. Also, keep her diaper off for a while during the day. I keep her on a plastic fold up mat a couple times a day. 421honeymoonbaby -
Thursday, 5 June Could be a yeast infection...she would need special cream from that from the doctor..i read about it. Rashes are supposed to only last for 3 days when treated with cream..i dont know why your doctor told you that..thats..weird. I wouldnt go back...
does she have yeast? ( white cheese in her stuff?) mylovelybabybump -
Thursday, 5 June Ava has had one diaper rash, and it was due to being allergic to the huggies wipes...she wears huggies diapers fine, no problems, but the wipes really tore up her bottom. I now use Pampers sensitive wipes and she has been fine. Also, I slather A&D ointment over her bottom at EVERY diaper change...I did the same thing with my son and he never had a rash. I am a total believer in the A&D ointment!!! Since your baby has a rash, let her go without a diaper as much as you can, keeping her bottom dry, and when she is in a diaper keep the A&D generously applied. A&D is vitamin A and vitamin D, both contain healing properties. I buy the A&D by the tub, which I can only find at Target and Toys R Us. Good luck! JenB23 -
Thursday, 5 June don't know if you have sudo cream in America but if you do it's a total mirical cure! just apply generously to affected area and coat with talc to hold in place...Good Luck!! shellybelly81 -
Thursday, 5 June let her go without a diaper, just continuous air on her toosh... my gf actually laid out a blanket on the kitchen floor and let her baby play naked because her rash was soo bad! Change her diaper a lot! here is a link to check out http://health.howstuffworks.com/home-remedies-for-diaper-rash1.htm From personal experience, huggies gave my son rashes all the time, I'd switch back to pampers and he would be fine .try changing her diaper! another link http://www.myhomeremedies.com/topic.cgi?topicid=68 nholliday829 -

Friday, 18 Jan My doc said it's the baby's head pinching against your cervix. elle2108 -
Thursday, 17 Jan I think it is nerves, once the head starrts engaging...there are all kinds of weird pains! kandonsmom -
Thursday, 17 Jan I get the same thing. Some say it is due to dropping and some say it is the baby moving it's head around. There is no telling but mine means nothing and is getting me nowhere. Sorry not much help. Rocking back and forth on your hands and knees will help it ease and go away. KTPUM -
Thursday, 17 Jan I'm not sure what causes the pain you are talking about, but I get the same thing now and then feels like the baby wants to punch through. How is your pregnancy other wise? Februarymommy -
Thursday, 10 Jan When you loose your plug, you will more than likely know. It's a big gel like glob (almost like snot). Sorry for the TMI but that's what it looks like. It may be streaked with brown blood. I too have experienced the same thing as you have with the wet undies. My doctor told me that it is most likely sweat. I think that it could too, be from a leaky bladder. //The joys of what we women must go through. If men knew all of the knitty gritty about this we wouldn't be in the state we are in today.LOL! I can't wait til it's over.
