Tuesday, 11 Sep hey, mayathebee, i saw your post. i had an appt w/ my midwife today and she told me that at this stage, if we're feeling movement, it won't be every day and it will be random. as first time moms, our bodies are not as stretched out as those who have had babies, and it takes a bit longer to feel the movement. also, at my last ultrasound, i found out that my placenta is in the front of my bump -- this too makes it a little bit harder to feel the baby's movement. so try not to worry -- you're already feeling little movements, and everything sounds good! Tuesday, 11 Sep I read your post and I really don't think you should worry too much. Some days my baby is really active but then the next day the baby will rest. I try not to panic when I don't feel the baby. Maybe thats what your lil one is doing just resting and taking a nap. If your kicks went form often to none at all I would call the doc. Best of Luck. teamshredder -
Thursday, 6 Sep Check out the website.. babyplus.com I think.. its an educational system u play on your belly... it has really good reviews from people who have used it.. karenc -
Wednesday, 5 Sep hey, saw your post and wondered if you're having heartburn at all? b/c if so, esp. at nite, that could explain the blood and the throwing up. you've probably already thought to mention it to your doc; that's what i'd do. throwing up stinks! :) Camille0o0o0 -
Tuesday, 4 Sep Thanks! Hell if I know how I got twins, either side of his family or mine dosen't have a history of twins. It was a complete shock to both of us. I'm starting to think like a mommy now and getting real worried about school districts and stuff like that so we're really looking for some place the kids can flourish but not get into too much trouble at the same time :) LOL Let me know what you have having when you know! Are you planning on moving closer to the Houston area or the Dallas area? Camille0o0o0 -
Tuesday, 4 Sep Im smack in between Morgan City LA and Lafayette LA. Its quite boring here, we as well are thinking about moving (although not to Texas :) maybe closer to Lafayette or something) I went to Kenner the other day to visit a friend. I have yet to go inside the city since the storms. I am having one boy for SURE and the other is 70-80 % certain to be a boy as well. I also have a 9 month old little boy. :) Camille0o0o0 -

Thursday, 30 Aug Hey- I am due on Feb 2 and I haven't felt the baby move yet either. It worries me a little but I figure I still have a couple of weeks before it's really a problem. shygurlie1013 -
Thursday, 30 Aug Hey you have the same due date as me, which is good because I can come to your page and look at all the countdown tickers. (I can't get mine to work for some reason). Anyways good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. :) Are you going to find out what you're having? I find out on the 11th. teamshredder -
Thursday, 30 Aug Also try getting cranial massages from a LMT... most teas are not that good.. but chamomille, honey tea, ginger tea is ok.. I drink chamomille usually before bed, along with extra calcium/magnesium..
Hope it helps! CourtneyR -

Thursday, 30 Aug I have not felt anything yet either and I'm 17 wks first time mommy, so I have no idea what were suppose to fell and when we will feel the baby. I hope someone can inform us. baby bug -
Thursday, 30 Aug Hi! In regards to feeling movement, some women don't feel anything till they are close to 24 weeks. You don't have to start tracking it until 28 weeks anyways. You probably have felt it a little bit, but when it is your first you often don't recognize it. A lot of it depends on your baby's position in utero too... if it has its feet and hands facing your back, then you won't feel anything. Don't worry (I know, easier said than done!!!) karenc -
Thursday, 30 Aug don't worry about feeling baby move - I know it's hard, too. :) but my friend just had twins this month & told me she didn't feel anything until 20 weeks - and there were 2 in there!! 1st time moms often don't feel anything until 20 wks and sometimes even a bit longer. beckyu -

Thursday, 30 Aug I just wish i knew how to stop the guilt trips on my husband. She will not stop with him. I guess she was mad that with my husbands first son, she was not allowed in, and she feels that she should be allowed to see one of her grandchildren being born. I am just not comfortable with that. Heck, i dont even want my husband to see anything down there, he is required to stay near my head at all times. lol. I kinda wish i could tell her off, with out hurting him in the process.... aboyd -
Thursday, 30 Aug it is very normal not to feel the baby until after 18 weeks. With my first child, i didn't feel her until i was 23 weeks prego, with my son, it was closer to 20. Dont worry and dont stress out about it. although, i know how you feel with hearing eveyone else is feeling their babies, and you are not. I feel that way with eveyone knowing what the sex of the baby is, and not me. Just stay patient and keep your chin up. Soon that wonderful child inside of you will be wiggling in your rib cage! :o) teamshredder -

Friday, 24 Aug I will definatly have to try the digital ones. I have 2 more of the first response ones. So I may use those until then. Are you finding out what you are having. Congrats on your pregnancy baby mckenzie -
Friday, 24 Aug lol. wow, Ive never spoken to someone with PCOS who can relate to the hair thinning deal. I think my situation is worse than yours though. Seriously girl. My hair fell out so bad that I had to get extensions lol
But the person who does my hair does very well and it looks like my real hair, you cant tell the diff. Man, my hair will never be the same. I drove me insane at first, but now ive learned to just live with it and deal with it. Like i said before, my baby will love me no matter how i look. so that is all that matters now. God bless you also my PCOS sister! lol baby mckenzie -
Thursday, 23 Aug wow! you PCOS victum also ? lol Man, tel me about it. I struggled and still am with that condition. My hair still falls out daily. It grows back, but only to fall out again. Its way thinner than what it used to be. That dx brought me down. It made my life miserable up until now when i found out i was pregnant. now my life is filled with so much joy, i dont even let the PCOS bother me anymore. It really does ruin ppl's lives. Im happy for you and your husband! Good luck girl! baby mckenzie -
