My husband is catholic as well, but not a go to church catholic, and I am baptist...we decided when we have children we will meet in the middle (Methodist, and Luthern are really inbetween Cath. and Bap.) My family is really by the book baptist so I was kinda worried to tell them, but they all told me the same thing...if you worship Jesus Chirst thats all that matters, I hope this helps some.

Bearss - Thursday, 16 Aug
I am catholic as well and my husband is protestant. We decided to let the baby go to both churches and then decided when he was old enough which church was for him.

michaela - Thursday, 16 Aug
mayathebee- not really sure what to suggest, i'm a non- practicing christian, was baptised as a baby, hubby was never baptised and has no religion. my family would like the baby christened but we both think that would be hypocritical so we are gonna have a party which will be a baby naming ceremony instead. I don't think you should baptise a child because other family members expect it, it has to be because you want to do it.

tabathan - Thursday, 16 Aug
I know it isn't normal but can't you do both? Let your hubby have his part in religion and you do your part and when you child is old enough to choose, allow him to make the educated decision. BUT I would tell your hubby if this means so much to him then he is going to have to take turns taking your baby to church. I hope you work it all out.

This is just my personal thoughts on the subject. Baptism is a cleansing from sin, and I personally feel that babies and little children are without sin. If I were you, I would just explain that to his family. Granted, nothing is that easy and in Catholicism tradition is huge. Good luck. It will all work out.

darnell07 - Thursday, 16 Aug
wow.. I always heard that you go by the mothers religion.. specially if she is practising..That is tough

I just read on the 15th week by week. And you said your cyst got smaller. That is just great news. I'm sure a huge weight floated off your chest. Congrats!!!! I wish you the very best.

charlim - Wednesday, 15 Aug
ive just heard that..when you sleep on your tummy, yeah the baby is cushioned, BUT you are cutting off a lot of blood flow from the main arteries. sooooo...whatever you choose :)

Thank you so much, you are so sweet! I pray all day, haha...the minute I wake up, any time during the day when my mind clears from work and right before bed :o) I am a praying fool! But I believe in the power of prayer and I have so much faith. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, I will keep you updated! Love ya

miracles happen everyday!!!

Tiffany A Pifer - Wednesday, 15 Aug
That is awesome!!! I am soo happy that it went down and you don't have to have surgery. I went to the Dr. yesterday and found out I have several cyst on my ovaries and I have blood in my right one, I go back in 4 weeks to check on everything to make sure it has gone down. I will keep you in my prayers that everything stays good!!

I wish I sould sleep on my tummy to but i dont think we can.... It doesnthurt you when you do? It does a little for me..It feels like a lot of pressure on my belly... Have you tried to sleep with a pillow between your legs or a body pillow? They really help.

Araldia - Tuesday, 14 Aug
I am 29 weeks, and huge, and still manage to sleep on my stomach ocasionally. If you buy a cheap V-shaped pillow (Don't buy the ones specifically for maternity, they are over priced and the same as the cheap ones) Then you can prop it so you can lie on your stomach with the bump between the 'arms' of the pillow. That way, your bump has room, and you can sleep how you wish :)

hi there - i read some articles on line about it -- they all say that in early pregnancy, it's not a big deal to sleep on your stomach b/c the baby's cushioned: http://www.babycenter.com/plus/safe/quest.jhtml?iisQuestId=1137117&ccRelLink=&url=%2Frefcap%2Fpregnancy%2Fpregnancysleep%2F1458.html&xTopic=pregsleepbasics&bus=plus. i'd assume it'll be uncomfortable as you grow, which is why they then give you advice about how to get comfy on your side: http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/pregnancy/pregnancysleep/1458.html. i generally hear back about my paps in 7-10 days -- 6 weeks seems long! hope this helps & good luck!

jojo - Monday, 13 Aug
Hi, I know when my sister was pg she always slept on her belly and was advised by the doc not to sleep on her tummy. He didn't say why mayb something to do with the placenta or like u said squashing the baby. Sorry!!! Hope this helps

duejan31 - Monday, 13 Aug
It should not take that long. If everything is ok, they may not call and just give you the results at your next visit. If there was something found. They more than likely would have called.

Teenah1 - Wednesday, 8 Aug
NO I DON'T KNOW YET WHAT I AM HAVING. I HAVE ANOTHER DOC APPT ON 8-13.. SO MAYBE I WILL FIND OUT THEN.
