Monday, 7 July What's up! It's about 9 pm right now. Hunter is being a bit of a pill. He gets cranky in the evenings. It's right about bed time. He's still cute. My sister in law is staying with us for a while and she's getting the best form of birth control out there. Fussy baby! Ha! She just handed him off to daddy! She is a big help though. We just got news that Josh's grandfather passed away today. We're heading to Atlanta tomorrow for the funeral. Thats about a 5 or 6 hour drive. This should be interesting. It's our first big road trip w/ Hunter. Yikes! lulu81usc -
Friday, 4 July Hey little momma! I love that pic of Michael. He's so cute and has a ton of hair! Hunter's a bit jealous. =) You won't have any problems remembering my email... lulu81USC@aol.com . Yeah, I keep it simple around here. That's sweet that Lucas was on the mommy site. What sweet daddy. I love this site! It makes me feel so much better when I have issues concerning Hunter or myself. Hunter has been smiling a bunch lately so I tried to take some pics of him in his cute little preppy outfit. He was fine until held up the camera. I must have taken 15 pics and every single one is so different. I did get a couple of half smiles and a bunch of other strange looks. All cute though! By the way, I've been getting into facebook and myspace more. Look for me as Laura Chisholm Williams. That should help since I'm sure there are tons of Laura Williams. Today we're enjoying our Independence Day. Hunter is very patriotic in his little red white and blue onesie. Actually he just spit up all over it so he's going to be a bit less All-American in a minute. We took him to a friends house today. We had a picnic on a dock that is located at the mouth of the Charleston Harbor. Talk about beautiful! It's been a nice day. Next summer mommy will be in shape and sporting a bathing suit. =) Well they inlaws are visiting so I better go but I'll catch up with you soon! Shoot me an email w/ some pics! erins1121 -

Thursday, 26 June Hey girl! How is the little guy? Hunter just turned 2 months today! He's starting to sleep better. I started phasing back into work this week. Hunter doesn't start daycare until next week so Josh has had baby duty this week. It's good, though. I think he's bonded even more with the mini version of himself. We tried to figure out how much Hunter weighs and we think he's about 13 lbs. He's growing fast! I love that little guy! first-time-mommy-to-b -
Tuesday, 3 June Hey! I havn't heard from you in a while so I wanted to drop in and see how things were going?! Hope they are going great!! lulu81usc -
Thursday, 29 May Hey! Yeah happy Anniversary to you too! Josh's mom came up for the night and took care of Hunter. Josh and I took our boat out and had dinner at this awesome restaurant called the Boat House. Yum! Of course we couldn't really go all out due to the fact that we still had baby duty once we got home. As far as the sleep thing goes...not so much. He really only sleeps for about two hours at a time and of course with Josh going to work, I have baby duty day and night. On Monday and Thursday nights he has graduate classes untill 9pm. Long days. I really am ready for just one good night sleep. Seriously, I can't wait for Hunter to start sleeping for 6 hours at a time. When do they start doing that? Anyway, I hope all is well with you too! Talk to you soon. skylars mommy -

Thursday, 22 May Don't feel like a failure! Some women just have an easier time than others with breastfeeding...I think I got lucky! I love breastfeeding...but sometimes I think it would just be easier to give her a bottle so I don't have to worry about what to do if I have to run to the store or something. Ya know? I dunno, I am still a train reck emotionally! I don't know what the deal is...I just go back and forth. I thought I had finished this...I had been feeling great emotionally for a few days now and today I just feel very depressed and I want to cry. I hate it b/c my little angel is wide awake and wanting to spend time with mommy and all I want to do is put her in her bouncy and I feel very guilty for that. I am jealous!! You said you had laid Michael down...hehe I have ALREADY managed to spoil my child!! She will not go to sleep unless she is in my arms and when I put her in her bassinet at night she starts crying immediatley! I pick her up, she stops. Its a bad cycle!! hehe I don't know what to do! Sometimes she will sleep in her bassinet, but mostly during the day when I wouldn't mind if she didn't want to. Ya know? I would let her just cry it out but our house is soo tiny and my husband has to get up for work so I feel bad keeping him up all night!! He would never blink an eye about it so I should just do it...I just don't know what to do! I feel like a horrible mother! I mean, I can't even get her cord to fall off!!! :( Ugh...I guess I will go, sorry to be such a downer today...I don't know whats wrong with me! first-time-mommy-to-b -
Wednesday, 21 May Awww I love the new picture!! I know what you mean about having to keep your sanity with these little ones eatting all the time! I swear I NEVER sleep! She eats ALL THE TIME! haha She eats every two hours (from when she starts eatting) So if I feed her at 3...she will finish about 3:30 and she is ready to eat again about 4:45 or 5. Its exhausting!! I do have to say though, she does much better at night. She normally goes down for good b/w 11 and 12 and she will wake up around 2:30 or 3 to eat and again b/w 6 and 7. LOVE IT! I am not bottle feeding at all...YET! I am scared to death that if I stick a bottle in her mouth she will not want to breastfeed anymore and I love it soo much!! I am fixing to have to start pumping though b/c I have to go back to work June 9th and I am just terrified that she will loose her interest in breastfeeding. How does Michael transition from breast to bottle? Does he have problems? Has he lost his cord yet? Hunter is 3 weeks and 2 days now and she still has not lost that cord! OMG I could not possibly clean it anymore than I already do. I even pull on it and clean really good in all the little crevises...its so weird!! The Dr. says because she was bigger she just had a thicker cord...but Michael was big too so I am curious! hehe Also, what kind of bottles are you using? I am trying to make a decision and can use some opinions! :) Let me know!! How is Michael sleeping during the night?? lulu81usc -
Sunday, 18 May Ha! That pic is soooo cute! I love it! My little Hunter is a little piggy too! I can't wait for him to be able to sleep 5 or 6 hours without waking up to feed! dennisse -

He is soo precious!! lulu81usc -
Wednesday, 14 May Ahhh, those darn hiccups. =) Hunter gets them all the time. I know, I do wish we lived closer together. I would love a walking buddy. Hunter isn't much for conversation. I'm so glad the breastfeeding is going well for you. Thats funny that you have to sub in some formula too. Hunter is a little piggy too. My poor boobs just can't keep up! So are you still digging the late night cereal cravings? I have impressed myself. I have not been snacking and my meal portions have shrunk and I eat so much healthier. I got up to 222 and I know I was more than that right after I had the baby due to all the fluid the pumped into me. I am down to 197 right now which is still mind blowing. I really hope to get down to 140 but it won't be easy. I have been either walking or doing the elyptical machine every day. Thats my biggest thing now. By the way, its almost 2 in the morning and I just feed the little fella and I would say he sleeps more during the night but has more frequent wake-ups. I don't know its hard to say. He may be pretty even right now. He has a doc appt tomorrow morning and I know I'll be a zombie. Well, I better go so that I can pump. =) Talk to you soon little mamma! lulu81usc -
Thursday, 8 May Oh my gosh! He's precious! You'll have to fill me in when you get the chance. I know about the emotional thing. On my third night at the hospital, my mom was staying with me and at 2 in the morning, I just started uncontrollably balling my eyes out. However, I was all stopped up and when I cried my ears stopped up too and started popping! I realized I couldn't even cry! I sometimes stare at him and want to cry because I love him so much and can't imagine life without my precious little miracle. I totally understand. When I was doing my hospital discharge, the nurse told me that I could expect to have crying spells for about two weeks. =) It's okay if you're emotional. Let me know how the breastfeeding is going. I was doing it for about a week, then nipples got gross and bled and I couldn't take putting them in his mouth. I started pumping and he's been so much happier. I thought I had a baby with colic. Then with the pumping I realized he still wasn't getting as much as he needed. I started adding some formula feedings in and now my milk is coming in stronger and I think I won't have to do the formula supplements much longer. I just wanted to mention this in case you run into similar problems. =) Talk to you soon little momma! first-time-mommy-to-b -
Wednesday, 7 May CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is so exciting! He is a Beautiful baby!! I hope you are feeling well and I hope you are getting some rest! I can't wait to hear all about it!! Our babies were the same size!! Hunter was 8 lbs and 20 1/4 inches long!! SO awesome!! Congrats again! Can't wait to see more pictures! lulu81usc -
Tuesday, 6 May Any signs of Michael yet??? I know you're ready! By the way my nipples got so bad from cracking and bleeding that I finally switched to the pump. My nipples are healing, I am in far less pain, and Hunter is also happier. I figure its still mommies milk and my hubby can feed him now too. =) I gave it a good try but my sis had the same issue with both her babies. We both have short nips so I guess a proper latch wasn't easy. A part of me feels bad but I felt gross watching hunter put those very damaged gross things in his mouth. sanmar123 -
Monday, 5 May Congrats kel......I can't wait to hear all about it and meet that handsome little guy!!

Wednesday, 30 April Hey! Just thought I'd let you know, Hunter's appt went well today. He hasn't lost any weight since his discharge from the hospital. My milk finally came in today so I can stop worrying. Also, he has a little bit of jaundice but its not too bad and it should start going away soon. I'm crossing my fingers for you! I really want little Michael to hurry up and get here so we can be in the same boat again. =)
