Oh my....a bonnet w/ lace? That's too much! Yeah my husband politely declined the christening gowns. We have all kinds of baby outlets around here so I'm sure we'll find something suitable for Hunter.

I am so sorry you are sick! That is just rotten. I mean at least it didn't happen while the baby was here but still I know how you feel. I want to make you feel better but I work with mostly guys and they most definitely don't get how uncomfortable I am. Most of them are pretty sweet about it but this one european may as well scream I'm judging you. My boss's wife is 5 weeks behind me so he is a little more understanding than he would have been. During the day my legs get progressively worse. It's my calves. Usually the left one feels like its going to explode! I mean if feels like the tendon is tearing away from the bone. OUCH! Riding in a car can be very painful. Yesterday, I couldn't go pick up a customer b/c I knew the ride would be torture. I wish I could tell you that everyone is understanding and I think most people are but there are always a few who just don't get it. Don't worry about what they think. I'm not evil but I know what goes around comes around and maybe those who judge (guys) will eventually have to pass a kidney stone the size of a marble through their pee hole! Ha! How do you like that? As for any judgemental chicks, may they deliver 12 lb babies! Please tell me I brightened your day. Get well soon little mamma!

Hey Chiquita, So I was thinking.....Thurs. seems to work well for everyone, let me talk to Kim, but what about the 10th of April? Let me know if that works for you? I hope all is well, and that you are feeling okay, getting down to the final crunch now, you must be getting very excited, time to get that little guy out of there for everyone to meet. Then there is me, I can't wait to be @ your stage of the game. Did you hear that Claudia had a baby boy!

I have a wedding to go to this weekend and its 3 hours away. I want to wear a full length dress but I can't find one. (I can't show off these kankles.) I may just have to wear some black work pants w/ a nice top. We shall see. I'm sorry you are in a rotten mood. I completely understand. I am sooooo tired of sharing my body. Ugh, you'll love this. Now I know back in the day, that little baby boys wore christening gowns. My husband's grandparents (actually step-grandparents) offered a gown and petty coat for my son to wear during his christening. It is sooooo girly! Ugh! I'll pass thank you. I know its special and its been in the family since 1905 but they can keep it on their side of the family. My son will where a little white suit for BOYS.

Hey there! Hope you and baby are doing awesome! Well, I was afraid of this. My feet have definitely started to swell a good bit and didn't bother me when my skin would pop back after pushing but now I have pitting adema (sp?) I thought it automatically meant I have preclamsia (sp?). Apparently, this isn't so but I'm crossing my fingers that the tail end of this pregnancy goes as well as the rest of it has.

first-time-mommy-to-b - Saturday, 29 Mar
Okay, so here is what my Dr. said. AHHH!! He told me that he is going to let me attempt a vaginal delivery!! YAY! But he said that I need to be aware that my placenta is still very low (but no long in what they call the 'danger zone') and if I start bleeding even a little bit more than normal during delivery they are stopping everything and I will have to have an emergency c-section! But I am super excited that I get to try!! YAY!! Thats so great that your room is all ready! Are you having a shower? I havn't even started on little Hunter's room...but the addition should be done next week so I will be able to get on the ball! YAY! Also, my shower is on the 5th so I am getting really excited! I can't believe our babies are almost here!!! Who'd thought that this would go by so quick?!

sanmar123 - Thursday, 27 Mar
hey, My Easter was pretty good, busy as usual between my parents house and Chris's parents.....and working. How about you? I can't wait for our next rondezvous.....I guess Kim will be home in the next couple of days, we should most definetly plan something soon, before you pop.....LOL maybe Early April?

first-time-mommy-to-b - Thursday, 27 Mar
YAY!! I am soo excited for you! I told you it would move! hehe Thats really great! So are you getting about ready for that baby? Have you started on the nursery yet?? Do you have everything you need for him? :) I go to my Dr. today, hopefully he will clarfiy whether or not I need a c-section. Wish me luck (AGAIN). hehe

xo1stimemommyxo - Thursday, 27 Mar
oooh i am right there with you!! i love being pregnant too it has seriously been a breeze and i still to this day have NO complaints other than just waking up to pee once or twice and having a hard time falling asleep again. other than that i'm FABULOUS! no aches and pains very much i feel so lucky!! good luck to you! take care!!

lulu81usc - Thursday, 27 Mar
Oh yay!!! Well, Hunter has a new trick and it sucks!!! He has a little too much fun with my bladder. It feels like he takes a stick and jabs it! I'm talking ouch! Josh and I just went to the grocery and Hunter did it about 15 times. People kept looking at me really conerned b/c I'd be walking and then suddenly stop and gasp. Right now he is stretched out! He's pushing soooo hard up and down. I am leaning back w/ my arms fully extended so that I can type. Wow, this little guy must take after daddy. My husband is 6'4'. I don't think my torso is long enough to accomodate this kid!

Anyway, I'm glad the lady made a mistake on your due date. Yay! We're due almost the same time. Everyone swears I won't make it until May. They all say I'm going to have the baby a couple weeks early. I hope they're right. Two weeks early is still in the safe zone and I don't think I want my son to hit 9 or 10 lbs! I think he is well on his way to doing so! I hope we both have nice, short, and safe vag deliveries. =)

lovingmom - Wednesday, 26 Mar
Thanks for responding about my baby already being in the birth position. Unfortunately I still can't breathe so I don't know if she dropped or not. It just seemed weird that she's been kicking me in the same spot for awhile. Oh well.....Good luck to you!

lulu81usc - Monday, 24 Mar
when we had our 31 week U/S appointment, Hunter had his hand on his face the entire time! It looks like your little guy cooperated a little better. My pics also made Hunter look like he had a huge nose!

lulu81usc - Monday, 24 Mar
OKAY, SERIOUSLY, CHECK W/ YOUR DOC. I JUST READ NYMOM'S COMMENT AND SHE STARTED LOSING PIECES OF HER MUCUS PLUG AND THAT'S HOW SHE FOUND OUT SHE WAS GOING INTO PRETERM LABOR! I GUESS IT CAN COME OUT IN BITS.

lulu81usc - Monday, 24 Mar
Hey girl. I saw your post. I thought if you lost it, you lost it. I didn't think you could lose parts of the mucus plug. I don't know though. Check with your doc and see what they say and let us know. You know what I wonder? I get up to pee in the dark like 3 to 5 times a night. What if I totally miss seeing it come out! I keep wondering if I'll feel something weird.

Valeriescheller - Friday, 21 Mar
oh I forgot.. This is what a sweet lady posted on my page... hope it helps you too!

I've been drinking tea and taking tablets of raspberry leak since 32 weeks, it does NOT bring on labor! It is not meant to bring on contractions, but instead it strengthens the uterine muscles in order to shorten the second stage of labor. It is suposed to make labor shorter, not to start it. I'm sorry if I have repeated myself in this, but I have posted this several times, there are so many ppl who do not know what these herbs are meant for and assume because a doctor will not prescribe them then they must be unsafe... I also started taking Evening Primrose oil last week~ it is to soften the cervix~ not to cause dialation, or bring on labor, but to ease the natural transition~ Hope some of this helps you, Laters!

first-time-mommy-to-b - Friday, 21 Mar
Awww...well I am not sure how true it is but I have heard the same thing, that calculating due dates by sonogram is more accurate in the beginning of pregnancy b/c all babys grow at different rates. Although, my little one was measuring 3 lbs 2 oz at 29 wks 4 days. At my appt yesterday I was 34 weeks 4 days and she was 5 lbs 4 oz! YAY! hehe DOn't get discouraged, your husband is right...that baby will come when he is ready, not when the Dr. says so! hehe And besides, its not unusual for the sonogram to be off by a week or so! :)

There is hope for you with the placenta thing, my move a whole 4 centimeters in 4 weeks! So while it is still close, I am still trying to optimistic! :) So I am sending positive thoughts in your direction because I am sure yours will move too!! YAY! How is your nursery coming along? How are you feeling?? Let me know! :)

Valeriescheller - Friday, 21 Mar
Morning! Your welcome for my message last week... That's what this site is for!! ;)
Yes, Im going to start drinking my tea! One cup only a day though...
WHOWHOOOO lol

first-time-mommy-to-b - Friday, 21 Mar
Well, I went to the Dr. today! YAY! I was cleared to have a vaginal birth...it was only out of the way by 2 centimeters, but he said that was good enough and he was going to clear me. HOWEVER he did say my actual Dr. is going to make the final decision (so I will see what he says next week) but everything looks good! He scared me a little...said bleeding was still possible and if that happens it might result in an emergency c-section, but we'll see. Thought I would let you know! How have you been??

kryban - Thursday, 20 Mar
my u/s tech told me that there is still a chance they could turn, but at this point room is getting tight and they are not likely to go head up if they are already head down at this point.

lulu81usc - Thursday, 20 Mar
Awe...that is no fun! I haven't had that feeling but my ankles and feet have been swollen. It's freaky to look down at your feet and not recognize them! Also, sometimes when I'm sitting at my desk, it feels like I have shin splints (can't remember how to spell that word - there goes another brainfart). I usually have to jump into a different position to make them go away. Hunter is getting so big. I really hope he gets here just a teeny bit early. Oh, we met with another pediatrican today and we have found 'the one.' He's great! Getting this mommy stuff squared away. Bring it on! Next...

OurBabyBean0508 - Thursday, 20 Mar
Our little girl turned head down at 29 weeks and she's stayed that way ever since. She flips back and forth (facing left or right) but her bum is always up by my ribs. I think once they turn they're more comfortable and eventually they run out of room and they're stuck that way. :) Congrats!

treasa - Thursday, 20 Mar
Yeah i already know what postion he is in. he is head down and ready to go he wants to come out the doctor said i am on bedrest for the next couple of weeks cause i went into labor last week.

2MayBabies - Thursday, 20 Mar
She is head down ready to go lol. She has been head down since 28 wks atleast. They checked me on monday and said oh thats a baby head I was like ok...another pregnancy like my 1st...with baby wanting to come early lol....it's ok they are easier to push out...with my son I pushed 2 times and out he came ...I can only pray this one is that easy

treasa - Wednesday, 19 Mar
hey girl how are you doing yeah my baby doesnt weigh 4lbs he measured 3lbs 10oz on last wednesday so he might weigh 4lbs now. But i am on bed rest cause i was have contractions last week. if you need anything let me know.

2MayBabies - Wednesday, 19 Mar
no...I was dialated at 32 weeks. Basically my cervix is to small/short whatever it is..the Dr. said my body just cant hold in the baby. I have been having contractions latly not dialated yet but they told me to stay off my feet. The scary thing is is that I dont feel them and it was like that with my son to..I hope she doesnt fall out lol.I just want 36 wks to get here so I dont have to 'take it easy' anymore. I hate not doing stuff lol

2MayBabies - Wednesday, 19 Mar
The US tech also told me I wasn't as far along with this one ...and my last baby. Fact is they will come when they are ready..my first one came at 36wks 2 days
