I just had a checkup yesterday and told my doctor that she had to give me a different heartburn relief method than just tums. This heartburn is RIDICULOUS! :) She gave me a prescription for protonix. Ask your doctor about it. It is a pill you take in the morning once a day. if you still have symptoms while taking this pill, you can take tums on top of it no problem. Good luck!

hey.....I have booked my first ultrasound....March 24th, very exciting. I will be almost 10 weeks. So a movie sounds great...you could come over after work, we could even order pizza.... As for a day, Any day from the 7-14, I will let you choose the day.....I am easy!

my advise on the heartburn is gavison its liquid and a life saver tums are crap and believe it or not always have pepermints swear to you it works

Awe, I'm sorry about the heartburn. I don't think my is really that bad. I just avoid letting stuff come up by burping. Ha, I know its gross. It did get me the other night. I woke up when I tasted a little throw up in my mouth....ugh so gross. I hate that! I know this sounds silly but I actually slept all the way through the night last night. I never woke up once to use the bathroom. I was amazed! I had the entire bed to myself too. My poor husband is sooooo sick and he is trying to stay away from me so he slept in the in the guest room. I hate that he's sick too. He has a lot of good deals going on at work and I kind of want him to be able to take care of stuff and not fall behind. Also, tonight I am supposed to go to my first special delivery class. I don't want to be there without my husband. That would absolutely suck. At the same time, he can't get those other mommies sick. Oh, well. We're going to pump him full of vitamins today and see what happens. By the way, one of my coworkers just told me she's doing a baby shower for me! That just made my day!

hi! i hope you're feeling good, and enjoying this whole experience. i'm due may 5th, but the baby is measuring really big and yes, they saw a lot of hair on the regular ultrasound!! my 8 year old, clayton, was born with a full head of hair, and weighed over 9 lbs. so i'm not too surprised. love your pics! take care xoxo heather

Oh, I'm jealous of that 3 day weekend. You enjoy that! =) I wish I was home snoozing right now. I feel like a zombie. By the way, I felt weird saying something to my friends so I called my mom and she said she'd do something at home for me. Then I told one of my girlfriends and she said another one of my girlfriends had talked about doing one for me here in charleston and I told her that I don't recall ever discussing that with her. I think people just talk out of their ass sometimes b/c if she was really planning something, she would have called me. If she was planning on doing something that was a lame attempt. I still called her to see if she was waiting to hear from me but I haven't heard back yet. I just want to be like...just forget it. Lets just not do baby showers for anyone b/c if someone ever asks me to help out in planning one ever again I'll just freakin lose it!

Yeah, watching my carbs has been very tough! I then realized that when I thought I was being so healthy by having a smoothy, cereal, and some o.j every morning that that is all so high in sugar and carbs and not good to do on a regular basis. So I ahve changed to eating eggs and changed everything to whole wheat rather that white. I am hoping that will make a difference. Oh, I am also a pancake LOVER so I have not had those either. I feel like I am having withdrawel symptoms!!! I am not THAT big either...but I guess the baby is looking on the big side! Good luck with the few remaining weeks!

I have felt a little sluggish in the morning and kind of crampy. It goes away and kind of feels like my first two days of my period but other then that I'm doing pretty good. Ha, you're going to love this! I just about peed myself I was laughing so hard. One of my managers was teasing me about stealing my calculator and I reached my hand out and ACCIDENTALLY tapped him in the crotch! He immediately gave me back my calculator. That brightened my day.

Okay on a sad note, I keep getting questions from people about when my baby showers are going to be and not a single person has contacted me about planning one. I feel like such a loser! I know a lot of my friends have weddings on the brain. I mean I've already been contacted regarding a girls weekend in for one of the brides in July! Hello...I'm due on May 8th and haven't even heard word one about a shower for me! I am such a brat but come on...this is huge! Its my first child! I refuse to throw my own shower. I'm pretty sure thats not how its supposed to be done. I'm just bummed out.

I never felt braxton hicks with my first pregnancy until 2 days before i had him. Still haven't felt any with this one. I got my glucose results the next day.

Yup, just have to look at the positive side I guess. hehe I am glad you are feeling better...oh, about the rib and lower abdomen pain, it has REALLY helped me alot to do prenatal yoga. I bought a few CD's (althought they all seem to do the same stuff) and 2-3 times a week and I hardly notice the pains anymore...and they had gotten so bad I would just lay down and cry! So it may be worth a try! I was completley worn out after this weekend! My husband and I watched the neighbors kids on saturday (they are 6 and 2) they were such little angels, but by the time they left I was EXHAUSTED!! I can't imagin already having kids and being pregnant! hehe Then, on sunday a friend of mine came in town that I hadn't seen in a while and we shopped literally ALL DAY LONG. I had to practically buy a whole new woredrobe b/c all of a sudden nothing fits me, not even my pregnancy jeans! hehe So I know what you mean about having to keep up with that laundry! Anyway, sorry to talk your ear off! When do you get your placenta checked again?

I have the same thing with the size of my belly. It is measuring large. My doctor said to minimize carbs and that should keep the baby from gaining unnessary weight. I will find out more at the next appoint. when they actually do an ultrasound. Doesn't sound like they are changing my due date either.

OMG Your pictures are BEAUTIFUL!!! I love them! He is going to be a hansome little man! hehe I love the bedding too! Its very sweet!! Glad you figured out how to upload the photos, I did it when I first got on the site, but it won't let me do it the way I was doing it then...so I havn't figured it out! hehe Umm..yes I have to get checked again on March 21st for the low-lying placenta, I will be almost 36 weeks by then and thats when they will make the final decision. I have almost decided that I would like to have a c-section, just because now I am worried that it won't move up enough and if they let me try naturally it will end up rupturing. I dunno, I am really worried about the whole thing! I am worried that I have been doing alot of things that maybe I shouldn't just to be safe...I think I worry too much sometimes! I dunno, but I go back to my regular Dr. on the 29th of this month (I have to go to a high risk to check on my placenta) and I will see what he has to say about it all. BUT the good news is, if I have to have the c-section they will schedule me early b/c they don't want me going into labor at all! YAY! That would be a plus! :) Anyway, sorry it took me so long to get back to you and congrats on your pictures! They are beautiful! Keep me posted! R U feeling better?
