Well now that we have all come to realize what it is that we find offensive, annoying, and just plain weird, I think we will know how to treat other pregos we meet or know in the future. Then again, who knows. Some of the most offensive comments come from women who are mothers. Go figure. I think the lesson I've learned is to say congrats and just shut up. Now if more people could follow that school of thought I think this prenancy would be far less entertaining. ;) As for your other question, I think my doc loves to do U/S! Its so cool! I have had 4 U/S already! The first was to confirm the pregnancy, the second was kind of a bonus that we got just to narrow down the due date. The 3rd was at a different office to test for Downs. The 4th was to measure everything and determine the sex. My doc said that this next one will be for measuring his growth. I bet he'll be a little on the large side. Ugh, I just know Hunter is going to be a big boy. By the way, I just went to see the movie 'Juno.' You have to see it! It was awesome!

cute cute cute! I love the pattern! It's cute and not commercial looking. By the way, the 3d pics are great! I love the one where he's yawning! How adorable! Josh and I are going for another Ultrasound on March 5th so I can't wait to see our little buddy and how much he's grown!

Awww...I am sorry you have had the flu!! I had it about 3 weeks ago and it is the most misrable thing!! Well, my husband didn't have to go out of town after all, so it was a great Valentines day. We took my mom with us to the U/S and she was soo excited to get to see the baby!! No good news on the placenta though...he said the odds are still in my favor for it to move but he doesn't see it happening since it hasn't already. :(

Umm...not sure how to upload the pictures either. I always just go to photobucket.com and upload the photos, then I tell it to generate and html code for me. THEN I come back to this page, click Edit page, then click at the top where it says HTML and paste the html code that I copied from photobucket. Hope that helps...or at leasts makes since! How did the 3D go? I am excited to see your pictures!! I bet they are amazing! Have you thought of any baby names yet?

Ugh, I am super bummed! My husband is being sent out of town for work so he won't be able to go with me to our u/s tomorrow and no Valentines day dinner either! Yuck! Let me know when u post the bedding pics...I am excited to see them. :)

You have made my day. I can't believe you are at 194! You look so great! Gosh and I am soooo sorry that you must be freezing up there. I won't tell you about the weather we are having here.=) All I know is one of these days you should try to come down to Charleston South Carolina. Its a beautiful city on the coast and the weather is usually pretty nice. Then again today its pretty wet and ugly. Enough about the weather. So this morning Hunter learned a new trick. Its called: 'kick mommy in the bladder.' Wow! That little munchkin better flip over! I do not want those strong little legs practicing the river dance on my lower region. Mommy dosen't want to have any 'accidents!' That would NOT be cool at all! I work with a bunch of guys and I don't think I'd ever live that down. Yikes! Well, I was supposed to hear back from the doc by yesterday on the diabetes testing and I guess no news is good news so that makes me feel pretty good. By the way, let me know when you post those pics of the bedding. I'd like to see them. Don't worry about the facebook think for now. I have not gone on there in a while. Plus (I know this is bad but) I can't access it from my work computer.

Oh my gosh...I went to the doc for the diabetes testing yesterday and I just hope I don't have it. I almost had a heart attack. It was like an out of body experience...or my worst nightmare. I never though I would see the day when I hit the 200 lb mark! It happened....holy crap! I must be huge! Man, I can't wait to have my son and start breatfeeding away those pounds! Okay so on a happy note, I'm glad you found some cute bedding. I'll keep checking for you to post the pics. On another note, my next appointment is March 5th and I get to have an U/S again! Yay, my hubby is excited. My doc is really good about doing the 3D pics for us. They have so much fun with their gadgets at that office. =) Hunter is such a show off so I'm sure he'll put on a good show for us. I've also started counting kicks as of yesterday. Does your doc have you doing that yet? My homework is to start scheduling appointments w/ pediatricians over the next couple of weeks. I'm not sure exactly when I'm supposed to squeeze that in but it must be done. Hope all is well and your little angel is being nice to his mommy. =)

Wow thats great!! Sounds like you are really getting ready!! I can't wait to see the bedding you have picked!! Yea, I was soo anxious to get my crib in and then I got to thinking...she probably won't sleep in it for a while anyway! hehe! LOVE IT! I am excited to see your 3D pics. I don't think we are going to get the 3D pictures done...I would like to, but it is soo expensive and with us adding a room and everything it is probably better if we don't. But we'll see! Wow, -30 huh? That is freezing!! I don't know how you do it! I don't handle cold very well...but probably b/c I have never really been in very cold weather! Yesterday it was 76 degrees here! haha Get this...the weather is soo strange, yesterday 76...today 55, tomorrow in the 70's and then it is supposed to snow on Friday! CRAZY!! One day you are wearing a t-shirt and the next day its snowing!! haha Anyway, glad you are g etting things ready! I will let you know how my appt. goes...be sure and post your 3d pics!!

Hi, I just saw your post about 6-7 months. I hope I type this where you can understand it it was complicated when I had dr explain it to me...when people ask how far along you are, most-think of months...drs-think weeks. A woman is actually pregnant 10 lunar months. 4 weeks in a month...count that out, then give or take that month that has 5 weeks. at 1 month you are 4 weeks, 2 months 8 weeks, 3 months 12 wks, 4 months 16 weeks, 5 months 20 weeks, 6 months 24 weeks, 7 months 28 weeks, 8 weeks 32 weeks, 9 months 36 weeks, take into consideration doctors also include 2 weeks for implantation. Most dr's expect baby within 2 wks before or after due date.

I know what you mean about those cravings. I was never a big fan of sweets but wow! I always want cake too! I love cookies and milk, brownies, cereal,you name it. I am terrible! I have some mood swings too but I react in the bitter, I don't feel motivated to work kind of way. I also get really quiet and tired. There is one guy in this office that just totally ticks me off if he so much as breaths the wrong way in my direction I'll go off on him and I have warned him to communicate with me as little as possible. Yikes! I'm kind of scary sometimes. As far as work goes....I plan to work up until I have the baby. Of course, I'm not sure how that will work out but I really want my 10 weeks to go toward my time w/ my son and not trapped inside my house all by myself. Plus I need to get my sales up so that I can have good paychecks when I'm out. I get paid off my average of the last few months when I'm on my maternity leave and vacation. I really need the next few months to be awesome! Mama's got to save up for some pretty expensive daycare! By the way, I feel like a freaking house! I think I have gone over the 30 lb mark already and that sucks! I will definitely be in better shape before my next pregnancy! Losing this weight will not be easy.

No problem! Whatever I can do! By the way, according to the 27 weeks page we have officially started our 3rd trimester! I think I'll go by that. =) Wow! We only have a few more months to go! My little guy has been so active! He's actually pretty strong at times too! I'm feeling pretty good for the most part. How are you?

okay Maybaby...I was playing around with the website for the place I'm getting my baby furniture from and I checked out the bedding section for you. There were some pretty cool websites that you should check out. I saw one that allowed you to creat your own custom bedding and a few others that had some stuff that was different and cute but not cheesey. Go to www.babyfurnitureplus.net and see if you can find anything that you like. My girlfriend customized her baby's bedding at this store but I'm sure you can just find somthing online. =)

Hi There, I know that swelling is common, but someone told me that the lines usually come from dehydration as well. Maybe try to up your water intake. Good luck.

HI! I hope your pregnancy is going well. I have the exact same problem with my socks. Please let me know what your dr./midwife says about this. I have found a solution that works for me...I started buying the socks made for diabetics - they do not have the tight elastic and promote circulation. Hope this helps.
