Monday, 28 Jan It's so great to hear from you! I am on facebook and myspace. I'm not on that as much as this but I do check it sometimes.
I am getting my furniture from a store called Baby furniture plus kids. I know that doesn't mean much to you since you're so far away but you might recognize the brand of furniture I'm going with. It's Baby's Dream. I'm getting the serenity crib, 3 drawer changing table and armoir in cherry finish. The bedding is a nautical them and its by baby nautica. Its navy, light blue and white. The nursery is painted baby blue and we have a bunch of pics of ships and lighthouses. I am so excited! I can't wait to put it all together! How is everything coming along for your little man? Has your husband felt him yet? My husband felt the baby for the first time last night. I love watching my tummy jump around. This has been my favorite part of the pregnancy so far!
I'm not getting too worried about the 3rd trimester yet but I am pretty big. Have you started to get a little uncomfortable? Not that I have too many complaints b/c this pregnancy has been great but...I have come very close performing the heimlich menuver on myself by simply squatting down. I have also realized that bras w/ underwires are not going to cut it anymore. Are you experiencing the same thing? I hope all is wonderful with you! kristink21 -
Sunday, 27 Jan I had actually purchased bedding from walmart the jungle theme stuff..then when we found out it was a girl i really didnt care for it too much. I got on ebay i know it sounds so stupid and there was some satin and chenille bedding up..i won it. It looks absolutely beautiful. It didn't take too long to get it either and it's actually a real company the lady who sells it. You can actually call a number and everything. Anyways it's always an option http://stores.ebay.com/Beyond-Bedding Goodluck and congratulations on your son:) carrie-s. -
Sunday, 27 Jan Try babysupermall.com. I got our son's bedding from there and just love it!!! first-time-mommy-to-b -
Sunday, 27 Jan Thats exciting that you are starting on the nursery!! I know, bedding is the hardest part! We finally decided that we are going to go with Tropical Punch, by Cocalo. Its really cute! I havn't ordered the bedding yet, but I have already started ordering some one the wall hangings and such...we have a crib, changing table and her dresser! I am getting so excited!! All of her furniture is hanging out in the extra bedroom at my parents house until the baby room is finished! Good Luck searching for bedding...have you tried csnbaby.com? They seem to have a wide variety. Umm...about the iron, I have started taking only a half of one and I am feeling much better!!! I am going to double check that with the Dr. when I go on the 1st, but for now I am enjoying it! hehe Not really noticing any 3rd trimester blahs yet. I have been very energetic during the days, but quite tired by 8 or 9 o'clock...but I think that is b/c I have been really stressed with work latley! How about yourself? How much weight have you gained so far? I feel like a balloon! hehe I have already gained 27lbs, I love watching the scale go up b/c it means my little girl is getting bigger!)Anyway, guess I will go for now...yes I have facebook, but don't update it too much...look me up! Thursday, 24 Jan Aww, your new picture is soo cute. I know what you mean, I kind of fall off the band wagon sometimes myself and just don't write back for a while! hehe No big deal! Glad to hear you are doing well!! Sorry you arn't feeling great...I have been sick myself. Back to same ole same ole, you know...getting sick everyday. I FINALLY figured out what is causing is, about a week and a half ago the Dr. put me on Iron pills that I take in the evening...every since them I have been sick! I have got to figure out what else I can do! :) Have you started on your nursery yet? I can't wait to start mine...but still have another month or so before I can. Weather around here is really strange, it will be 65 one day and the next it is 30!! Its misrable! It just needs to make up its mind and stick to something! hehe I love Texas and would recommend it as a great place to visit!! Let me know~~ Hope you feel better!! first-time-mommy-to-b -
Tuesday, 8 Jan Thanks! My Dr. said he is not worried about it yet and I should not worry about it until 36 weeks. He said if it has not moved by then, its looking grim. BUT, I am sure it will move...for both of us! I am just not thrilled about the idea of a c-section, but if I have to all that matters is that my baby is healthy. Ya know? I am sure neither of us will have to deal with that. :) Wow, 10 degrees? That seems offally cold! I live in West Texas and let me tell ya, it was 76 degrees yesterday! The darn weather doesn't realize that it is supposed to be winter time! Although we have had a few chilly days, nothing to bad! That is INCREDIBLE about the 3D package! And on Valentines Day?! What a treat! I go back to check on the placenta on Valentines Day, but Im afraid that is not nearly as exciting! :) That is just great!! I am soo excited for you! Anyway, I will go ahead and wrap up this novel...but let me know how your midwife appt. goes! :) bethanne -
Tuesday, 8 Jan Awesome, I am glad to hear everything has been good for you! I had my first bleeding episode a week ago on Thursday, but have had no more bleeding since then! My Dr. advised me to not have sex for a week, if the bleeding does not come back I am good to go. Like you I am also hoping it moves on it's own. That would be great! I go in for another ultrasound on Feb 13th to find out the sex and check it again hopefully It will have improved by then! michellet -
Monday, 7 Jan Hi, I'm happy to hear that things are going well. I'm feeling well so far. Baby seems to be moving more at night, but my husband still has not been able to feel anything yet. Can't believe it is almost week 23! I think we have the same due dates. Do you know what the gender of your baby is? Or, do you want it to be a surprise? Happy New Year! *~Mommy-2-Be~* -
Friday, 4 Jan I know having to get up like a billion times in the middle of the night is killing me!! I have been feeling great how about you? I have kinda been showing a lil bump for awhile but I too feel like I am about to pop!! Lol... I have to postsome new pics. first-time-mommy-to-b -
Thursday, 3 Jan Well, I just got back from my appt. this afternoon and I have good news and bad news! I still have a low lying placenta. Actually, it hasn't moved AT ALL! AHH BUT, I go back in 6 weeks to check again. They said that they will not make any final decisions about delivery until 36 weeks...if at that time my placenta is still low lying then they will do a vaginal ultrasound to see whether or not it will be in the way with the placenta fully dialated, if no then I can have a natural child birth and if it is in the way then I am looking at a c-section. Yuck! Anyway, just wanted to let you know. When do you go back to get checked? ANGIE007 -
Thursday, 3 Jan I've been getting up at least 3 times a night to pee, too. I know how you feel.... bethanne -
Thursday, 3 Jan Hello, I was just diagnosed with margina placental previa after some very scarry bleeding... I saw that you were also struglling with placental previa so I wanted to see how you were doing? first-time-mommy-to-b -
Thursday, 3 Jan Thanks! I am nervous, but excited at the same time. I am just tired of worrying about it! LOVE the new pic!! My new years was pretty low key itself. My husband cooked me dinner and served it to me in bed and then I fell asleep watching movies! hehe I didn't make it until midnight either! Oh well! Anyway, glad you are doing well! Have you lived in Canada your whole life? Just out of curiosity, what is the weather like? mar14e -
Thursday, 3 Jan You're right about the 'pregnancy smile' - I notice it more now too and people are really respectful, like putting you first to sit down etc...it's cute! Happy 2008!
I should post some pics- I asked my hubby to take a pic of me in front of the tree before we take it down this weekend. Would love to meet at Square One soon! kdiggs -
Thursday, 3 Jan Up until this past month, i had to get up at least twice at night to pee. The last month hasn't been too bad and has gotten better. :) mom2bandc -
Wednesday, 2 Jan BH can start as early as 24 weeks. I would call the doctor and describe the sensation and make sure you are not in preterm labor. Not to scare you! But better safe than not. I had BH with my second child starting at about 32 weeks and they are really not very noticible unless you are sitting with your hand on the top of your belly or up walking around it feels like your belly is trying to reach for the floor but absolutely NO pain and only a firm tightness that is hard as a rock. Take care and let me know what the doc says! weenerh -
Wednesday, 2 Jan maybaby, are you exercising at all with your sciatic pain? If so what are you doing? Walking around the grocery store for me puts me in pain for the rest of the day. I want desperatley to exercise but it's hard to be motivated when you know you'll be in pain for the rest of the day after your done. lulu81usc -
Wednesday, 2 Jan You just made my day! It has been a while since we have messaged each other and I was happy to hear from you. I hope your little one is doing well. Mine seems to be just fine. Sometimes I feel like he's doing aerobics in there but I'm so ready to feel some nice strong kicks so that I have total reassurance that he's moving when I think he is. Sometimes I can't tell if its him or me. I also want my husband to feel him too so he can share this awesome experience with me. =) I hope you aren't freezing up there in Canada. It was still 70F last week down here. We finally got a taste of winter today. first-time-mommy-to-b -
Wednesday, 2 Jan Happy New Year to you as well! Sounds like your little one is sitting on your bladder! hehe I hate it when she goes through stages like that. Humm...tips for the upcoming weeks?! I have one..don't freak out (like I did) if you start feeling like someone kicked you in the 'crotch' region and the soreness is accompanied by lightning bolt type sharp pains. hehe Sounds horrible, I completley freaked out and turns out its normal. So, I thought I would spare you the trip to the Dr. if you experience it as well. Turns out alot of women are feeling the same in week 23 so good luck! hehe I will let you know if I come up with anything else! How was your New Year? Did you do anything special? How are you feeling? OH, I go on Thursday afternoon to check about the low lying placenta. I will let you know! motjmc -
Wednesday, 2 Jan i dont wake up but i dont drink alot before i go to bed. so maybe that would be why mar14e -
Saturday, 29 Dec HI!
How have you been feeling? I have a lot of movements from baby and he's pretty active! I do feel a lot of stretching below my belly button and I find it hard to bend down so I try not to! LOL
I go back to the doc Jan 3 :) umastar16 -
Thursday, 27 Dec I feel my baby girl kicking very low, usually right at the top of my mons pubis bone. I sometimes feel her pushing on the left or right front side of my stomach, but most of the action is lower and center. Congrats on having a baby! This is my first too. =)
