Thursday, 27 Dec I always feel her kicking very low...2 inches below my belly button in the same spot every single time! :) Usually it is just light flutters that are definitely distinctive, but no really hard kicks yet. My sister in law is pregnant now too; she is 3 months further along than i am. She said she didn't start feeling really strong kicks until 24 weeks or so. No worry! :) michellet -
Thursday, 27 Dec Hi and congratulations. This is my first pregnancy too. I also feel light flutters mostly just beneath my belly (kinda feels like small twitches). My Dr. said that this is completly normal. She told me that most pregnant women don't feel any strong movements until around the 24th to 25th week, as the baby needs to build up more strength. Hope this helps:) lulu81usc -
Saturday, 22 Dec Thanks! We are soooo excited! Stay warm up there over the holidays! lulu81usc -

Tuesday, 18 Dec CONGRATULATIONS on your little BOY!! YAY! How does it feel? I didn't have my first u/s with the Dr. until 18 weeks and that is when they told me. BUT, this sounded crazy to me..but my Dr. said that they can't really tell earlier b/c the placenta and uterus is so small it is not really supposed to be in a specific spot. They can only tell as it gets bigger. Does that make since at all? Anyway, I am trying not to worry about it so much right now though. I noticed you posted something about being worried about sex and strenuous activities...I have been avoiding the two, the Dr. said it was fine unless I began bleeding, but I am still a little worried about it myself! Well, good luck!! Let me know!! Congrats again! *~Mommy-2-Be~* -
Tuesday, 18 Dec Congrats on your pregnancy!! I see you are due around the same time as I am! How has your pregnancy been? Ttyl,

Monday, 17 Dec Hi how was your US on
Sat? Any thoughts on gender? Do you know what the heart rate was? Ours was 140bpm so I am guessing boy... FIRST-TIME-MOMMY-TO-B -
Monday, 17 Dec I have a low lying placenta, my dr. assured me its nothing to worry about. You can still do normal activities!! Did you find out what you are having? Almarie -
Monday, 17 Dec Congrats on your little boy. We are having a little girl. Don't stress too much about the low lying placenta and if your midwife stated that you can still have sex - go ahead but just be gentle.
I am also in very high risk category because I have been diagnosed with a uterine septum. According to the doctor it is a miracle that I am pregnant and I also have a very high risk for premature labour. very scary but I am trying to stay positive and calm.
Good luck and hope you are doing great otherwise. roszs -
Monday, 17 Dec I also have a low lying placenta at about 15 weeks plus. U/S at 18 weeks still shows it is low. My doctor said this is common for pregnancy under 7 months. And will normally corrected itself as the womb grows. If it still remain low after 32nd week, then it's something to be worry. But for now, enjoy your pregnancy!!

Sunday, 16 Dec thanks! how has your pregnancy been besides the pv? sarahjk -
Sunday, 16 Dec i had a low lying placenta on my 1st baby and it moved at 28 wks and i delivered naturally, it will be ok i'm sure but i do understand you are worried.

Sunday, 16 Dec i was diagnosed with complete placenta previa and my doctor said that it will probably move up throughout my pregnancy. but that there is a chance that it wont. i think you're fine, its not complete placenta previa so you have a higher chance of it migrating back up.
:] hope i helped impatientvicki -

Friday, 28 Sep I am going to ask my doc when I go back about the itchy scalp. My sister in law has her own salon and she told me to use tea tree shampoo. I gotta try something! Congrats to you too. I love this site and everyone is just so nice! mar14e -
Thursday, 27 Sep 8 weeks tomorrow and I am just a little scared- most critical week -I feel very tired, bloated and hungry all the time!
Do you have a crazy taste in your mouth? like- metal??
Credit Valley is excellent! I requested it but my fam doc says I should stick with somewhere closer to home- so far I chose Etobicoke- if anyone has any thoughts on this hospital or advice, please feel free to message me- first-time-mommy-to-b -
Wednesday, 26 Sep For the most part I have been feeling pretty good too, I randomly get sick...but its nothing that doesn't pass quickly. I'm not sure about your first ultrasound...my doctor said he is not going to do one until 18 weeks...so if I wouldn't have gone to that other doctor first I wouldn't have gotten to see my baby until December! ahh :) I think it just depends on the doctor. You can always ask for one if your Dr. doesn't suggest it?! :) Keep in touch~ first-time-mommy-to-b -
