Jordan Jerrod Burris arrived May 19, 2008 after 14 hrs. of labor was 7.6 lbs. and 20.5 in

my lil man came a day before his due date. i was 40 weeks the days before i was contracting thru out the day and losing m-plug bit by bit but the night i went into labor it all came out well the last good bit and contractions started 3-4pm and by 12am i was feeling pain when they hit but wasn't ready for the hospital thinking i wasn't dialated and didn't wannna be sent home- i took a hot bath and walked the circle twice contractions were ab 3-5 mins. so i decided to wake up hubby and go in at 2am was in pain and suprised to be at 4cm so the dr said you are staying!!! the magic words!!! I waited until the contractions were unbearable 20 minutes later and got the epidural i was progressing in cm but in the morning hours things slowed down and the babies heart rate was going up and down so they gave me oxygen for the baby and kept me on my side, i threw up then was stuck at 9 cm for 3-4 hrs. the baby wouldn't turn his angle to come down into the area he needed to be and was sunny side up giving me lots of back pain the epidural wore off i had more meds. thru the IV and felt better but was so frustrated i couldn't move my legs to get comfy, i wasn't feeling pressure but they told me to start pushing and then wait awhile to come back and start again an hr later well no progress so they had to use the vaccuum for help and after 14 hrs of labor and 10 minutes of pushing Jordan Jerrod Burris was here at 2:57pm weighing 7.6 lbs. and 20.5 in. i was shaking alot and threw up again was so tired and hungry got up to our room where we spent 3 days, baby had some fast breathing and fluid in his lungs but they did an IV and gave antibiotics and ran tests and he is fine i was long and hard but finally he is here and we are happy and complete.

Me and my husband met in high school, we stayed in touch married in August 2006 and are happy to be having our first child together in May, I found out we were pregnant in September and so happy because we had been trying for 3 months when he returned in June from being out of the country for 6 months. We live in Florida and will be stationed here for 3 years. My family is in Texas and Louisiana, so its just us and I hope my moma can make it for the birth but if not she'll come after to help, I'm lucky to have a good man in my life to raise this baby with he's a great daddy and puts up with me and all my emotions and pregnancy moments, Love can get us through anything and it just keeps getting better each day!!!!!!

Feb.19/27 wks I have my gluclose test next week, I already know the drink will be nasty so I am prepared for that. I am feeling more movement, seeing him push parts of my belly out!!! Sometimes the kicks/punches are VERY strong sudden and catch me by suprise. I've always drank alot of milk, a gallon a week, so I know his bones are strong and tough. I am getting BH contractions which are uncomfortable sharp pains here and there but that means its getting closer and my body is getting prepared for labor, after 36 weeks I'm evicting this baby and kicking it into going in labor, by walking as much as I can, my lil girl was born on her own at 39 almost 40 weeks, 7lb. 12oz. and 19 in. a week from her due date, So lets see if he can do the same and come around to being born on Mother's Day May 12th what a blessing and great gift that would be to hold my baby boy. My hubby wants him to stay in as long as he can, but I am uncomfortable and don't see how my uterus can take any more baby, its up to my ribs and hard to sit down to eat with all the pressure, aches and pains. I do not want to be induced, I want him to come naturally on his own, without making my body go into labor before it's ready, but then again I may change my mind like I do every day so we'll see.

26 weeks

Jan.2/20 wks ITS A BOY!!! I am not sure how to feel ab having a lil penis in my body, It's such a crazy feeling!!! Daddy is so happy to be getting his lil man, One of each, My family is complete, although I would love another baby girl one day BUT right now is BABY BOY TIME and I'm not saying yes or no to more right now I'm focusing on now, I'm content, but will be looking into birth control after he's here, MY BODY NEEDS A BREAK, THEY START BEING BOYS WAY BEFORE THEY ARE BORN, now I know why they say BOYS WILL BE BOYS cuz he kicks, and punches so hard, gotta attitude and acts like he wants out NOW!!!!!!

19 weeks

Dec.20/ 18 wks The baby started to be very active yesterday, kicking and moving, my husband got to feel it. It's very light like thumping but I only feel it when I lay down. I have an appt. tomorrow, but no u/s we haven't seen the baby but once at 9 wks our first appt. But Jan.2nd we go to radiology dept. and they do a full body scan and check everything and hopefully tell us what were having. We think a boy, I was so sick with this one, not like my lil girl, I mean complete oppsite pregnancies!!!!

Is knowing I have a lil baby inside me, thats growing and changing. The baby has a big sister that rubs and kisses it now, so she'll be happy when its here.
