Sending you all the

baby dust your way

Hi I had no idea how to do this at first and really have had no time to find out. But I am here now and here goes:

I am 32 years old, I have been married for four years and I really really really want to start a family. I was on the road to one earlier this year, I was happy and excited and 14wks pregnant. All that faded on April 30th this year with an unfortunate M/C. This was the most devasting part of my life and I could not get over it. I had to have a D&C and as a result ended up with an infection. It was not a good part f my life, with out my husband I would of drowned in depression. I seeked help and I am now on the road to start this journey again. They say that God works in mysterious ways, and yes he does. The almighty man knew that emotionally I was not ready. My M/C took place at 3.30am about 20mins before that I was a sleep and I was dreaming, I dreamt that I had a girl but she was standing in front of me and she brushed my face and said to me oneday Mum we shall meet not just yet I loved the name you have chosen to give me, the only thing i could see was her long curly hair. I woke up I felt the warmth of her hand on my face and I felt strange I then realised my water had broken. I was horrified and really shaken that I had that dream.

So now where I stand: I am TTC and all postive things I want to come my way.

22nd November 2007

I went to the Dr's yesterday, because I woke up and I was so nauseated that my husband took me to the clinic straight away. The Dr did a PG test and it came up positive then he sent me for a blood test and the test came up negative. Dr said that it is to early to test as my AF is due on Sunday and my HCG levels are reading a low 2 instead of 5 for a positive result. I am really confused as I have all the symptoms of being pregnant. Just have to wait and see I guess.

Hi Maza, Great to hear your doing better and more positive. Sometimes the stress causes a/f to go wacky. I know alot of women ttc and myself end up stressing over it so bad that it just makes it worse. I am sorry to hear about your hubby.. Give him time I am sure he will be ok. Have you tried using any fertility monitors?? I am thinking of buying one.

Well, as far as weight watchers goes.....I started weight watchers back in 2004 after trying for almost a year to get pregnant. Not even one month into weight watchers and whammo pregnant. Hopefully you get your BFP!

Try not to be too upset. I'm sure you'll get pregnant. I also had a lot of pregnancy symptoms and then nothing. Probably because of emotions too. And when I finally got pregnnat, the only symptoms I felt were those cramps like AF is coming early. Think twice about starting those PMS medications. I would use natural remedies instead.. but of course, I cannot give your medical advice. Just remember, your baby will pick up the time. It is no point to rush her or be impatient. Just wait.

Hi. I wanted to say that plus size women do have all the same symptoms as everyone else. I did. I was really tired at the very beginning and then at about eight weeks, WAM! I got morning sickness (well all day sickness) and it stayed with me for the following months. I think it finally cleared up around my 18 or 19th week. The other woman who posted her message to you about just having morning sickness for two days was really lucky! Most people have it for around a month or two anyway. The only major difference I've noticed between plus size and non is that thinner women can usually feel the baby move earlier than us cause they have less 'fluff' in the middle. Good luck in trying to concieve. :)

That sounds pretty close, i was also like, ungodly tired and only ever wanted to sleep all the time! lol. I didn't get much morning sickness, until i was about 13 weeks, and even then it lasted for a whole two days. I've only had it maybe 7 times over the past 18 weeks, which I think is a pretty good average :) Let me know how the test turns out!! ** Baby Dust **

Hi I am doing good yeah a lot has happened. I am doing good and head is up high. BB's are sore still this morning but not as bad as last night. If you are PG that is normally one oft he first symptoms and it hurts your BB's when it changes weather and you get goosebumps and it hurts then too. My nipples have not gone darker so I am expecting AF as soon as really although it would be great to be pregnant. How are you doing?

sweetbee1 - Monday, 21 Jan

Just hang in there. In couple of days if not tomorrow you may already try a home pregnancy test and get the answer. I used a cool one on which actual writing appears pregant or non-pregnant. Test in the morning, but read instruction first. I messed up first test because I was so impatient and did not read instruction. Good luck!

Hi I am plus size, and the two biggest smptoms I had were sore breasts, very sore, and bloated stomach! The nausea came later, and I still can hardly eat and I am 31 weeks good luck to you. I hope you are pregnant, and I wish you the best. Your story gave me gosebumps.

pandaspenguin - Sunday, 20 Jan
hi there, i saw your comment on the ttc page, i am a plus sized pregnant woman, and my first symptoms were very sore bbs (i was a dd before i got preg) and im 18 weeks now, and i find that im hungry 24/7 so i eat small meals every 1-2 hours, and i've lost weight since im eating more healthy. Hope this helps :)

mama40 - Thursday, 17 Jan
So far things are good with me. Week 17 and feeling well. I remember time when we started TTC and every month I was looking for those symptoms. Often I bought home tests and used them 2-3 days before my period only to find them negative. FInally I decided I'm really too old and probably my systems just sutting down. And decided to give up and just enjoy sex when it hapens. I even got pretty drunk on my husband birthday, after avoiding alcohol for 5 months. Well, it was the month when it happened:) And looking back I see that when you are not conceivning it seems you never will. But after it happens, all those months become unimportant. You understand that baby comes when he /she comes, and you need just wait.
