Angie calle me at work and asked me to log in and send you all a message, her computer connection @ home is down right now. But unfortunately no baby yet!

:) I'm trying so hard to keep my chin up- thanks for your comments!! I talked to my hubby again and he said that I needed a pep talk- he said if this were a football game he would be the coach telling me to suck it up and get back in the game to help them win..not that he was telling me to go in the locker room because I suck too much to play... :) funny analogy but that's how we work and it helped me so much. I feel better today. And maybe now that I feel better, little one will decide to come! and yours too!

Judesmama - Tuesday, 2 September
Well, I hope your dr agrees to do that for you. Try to enjoy this week, get lots of rest and do some pampering things for yourself while you are off work. After baby, it will be a while before you get to enjoy treating yourself! Let me know what your dr says...hopefully we'll have our babies soon!

orion-utopia - Tuesday, 2 September
four? cant imagine having another one...at least not for a very long time. but then again i thought the same thing when i had my son so i cant say.

Judesmama - Monday, 1 September
Let's have a cry fest together. WHY does today HAVE to be Labor Day? WHY did she NOT come in August like I wanted? And WHY did my friend Nicole just go in to have her baby, and I can't have mine? I'm not despairing YET, but all of my kids were born in weeks 37-38. I am not used to this, and the months of SPD have made me so miserable I'm just ready for it all to be over now *SIGH*

aftinjoy - Monday, 1 September
I asked my doc to strip mine at my appointment last Tuesday but she refused. I was in severe pain from the baby dropping so low and resting on my nerves that I was absolutely desperate. I was 39 weeks, and already 3.5 cm dilated so I didn't imagine it would be that big of a deal, but I guess I was wrong. My 40-wk appt. is tomorrow... if they don't help me do something soon I may lose my mind.
I've heard some people say it is really painful, but some say it isn't that bad. I guess it depends largely on who is doing it.

aftinjoy - Monday, 1 September
i just saw your post on wk 39 and I feel the same way. My due date is tomorrow and I just keep crying and crying and I'm not even sure why. I know they're only estimates, but I'm not sure how much more of this I can take. Where are your babies??? :-(

orion-utopia - Monday, 1 September
wow! how many kids are you planning to have?? poor you...must be hell waiting for labor to begin this close to your due date. im kinda scared though...not really looking forward to labor but then i do want the baby out already...

Judesmama - Sunday, 31 August
Things here are just about as awful as you can imagine. I'll spare you the details...let's just say I'm ready to get this show on the road. I imagine you are feeling much the same way. I do hope our babies will be here soon, then we can all have our lives and bodies back Praying for you, sweet!!!

orion-utopia - Sunday, 31 August
oh i forgot to tell u something really stupid. while in the hospital i could never finish the meals they served and the nurses were all concerned. but at the same time ive gained 35lbs and they said it should be around 22lbs. but im also supposed to be taking it easy because i have a history of miscarriage, had an abortion right before this pregnancy, and hemorraged last time i gave birth. so how am i supposed to keep from gaining anymore until the babys born?!

orion-utopia - Sunday, 31 August
lol! i feel like ive been pregnant forever too! but yesterday in the shower i might have lost my mucus plug...not sure but there was totally blood there. then i had contractions every 10`15 min for like 12 hours...and today its stopped completly! but its made me start packing my hospital bag. or at least washing the stuff i want to take. have you packed your bag yet? what are you packing? oh hey, do you have any stretch marks?? i dont have any new ones yet but last time they all appeared after the birth. it was so shocking! i got the body shop stretch mark treatment but i dunno how well its working. then at night im using cocoa autter. just hope my stomach doesnt end up looking like a road map!!

orion-utopia - Friday, 29 August
lucky you! i cant wait for the baby to drop...theres hardly any room to breathe! you feel contractions when you walk? last time i didnt feel anything until like 12hours after i lost my mucus plug. weird! the move...do you mind if i vent? so were getting ready to move to a bigger place, then the day i came out of the hospital i hear the company my bf works for wants to transfer him! like to another state! so we can either move all the way over there like next week (and look for a new hospital!), or right after the babys born. either way i dont want to move far away to someplace i know nothing about!! i want to get settled and set up before the baby comes! im so pissed about it!

orion-utopia - Thursday, 28 August
hi! got out of the hospital yesterday...catching up on all of my lost sleep. thank god i didnt have appendicitis. but doctors are so frustrating! when i first went they told me it was a boy and now i hear it looks like a girl! then one doctor said it would be born soon and the next doctor said nothing would be happening for a while. i dont think they know what theyre talking about! anyway, how have you been doing? has the baby dropped yet?

kayleen - Wednesday, 27 August
I have a full body pillow but not the real "pregnancy pillow". I looked into those and they were like 50.00! Had I known being a cheapskate could be this painful I might have gone ahead and spent the money! lol I stayed off my feet as much as I could yesterday and plan to do the same today. My nurse said it's quite possible I am over-doing it and I need to listen to my body and not push myself... Easier said than done when your at home with a 4 and 6 year old all day!

Judesmama - Wednesday, 27 August
So nice that you are going to be done with work. Let me know what your dr says today! Hopefully we will have our babies soon

mumsie26 - Wednesday, 27 August
hi there hun, well if i go by experience then my first labour was 4 hrs 15 mins and the 2nd 5 hours with no pain relief,i actually was younger slimmer adn fitter and handled the labour very well looking back.
my 3rd son i had some gas and air with but hated it as i felt as if i had had the wrong drinks andhead was rolling lol this was nearly 3 hours labour ..
i had the 4th baby in the car now was a lovely delivery as it was all natural adn baby and my body did the work, my hubby was driving and i was in the front seat, it was lovely tho and only 28 mins labour .5th one i had at hospital and he was 1 hour labour no pain relief, the last one was a homebirth it was only 26 mins labour and so very lovely being in my own home, children were in bed as it was late night early morning, i felt safe and comfy at home, midwife was called and she just through the door when i was pushing so just got her gloves on in time.. i so loved it no pain relief too, so basically in experience i had an easy time, yes it does hurt but i think some women do scare monger too much, i think you need to concentrate on teh labour adn not scream or shout, nice adn relaxed and focused, it helps trust me,, women have been having babies since dot 1... so i can`t understand why so many women are scared and ask for c section,i personally would rather give birth than be cut open..soyy if i sound odd but my opinion.. if you have agood attitude then you will cope well.. i have had signs adn think the baby is on his way i hope he waits til hubby home form work tho..lol.. baby is less active and i had bh contractions ,pressure and feel differnt today adn last night.. won`t be long.. my advice toy uo is not to fear labour..too many women do worry unnecessarily..there are many homebirht stories on the homebirth site if you are thinkin gof homebirthing its a natural process as you know, also if you want you can look on you tube.. well i hope you have a good outlook on the birth and good luck,, i am sure you will cope fine ..if it was that bad me knowing what to expect i still prefer to give birth with no pain relief andnaturally .. well u can email any questions any time and good luck.. wub

stacka - Wednesday, 27 August
Ah good luck, fingers crossed for no induction. hope the doc has some good news for you, we dont get internal exams over here unless your in labour or something is wrong so i have no idea whats happening down there..

stacka - Wednesday, 27 August
LOL go hubby! I'm going same as you, cant wait to get bubs out, willing to try almost anything. My hubby is probly getting sick of me jumping him for sex every night! keep walking i'm sure it will help. hopefully when u see doc there will be some progress.

stacka - Wednesday, 27 August
i've been taking evening primrose oil capsules, add that to your list!! you can also apply to your cervix... if your game enough, and you can find it!

Judesmama - Tuesday, 26 August
Hi! I hear you on the moving around...just wait until baby gets lower into your pelvis...YIKES!!!! I am soooo there. Spent last night in the hospital, had leaking and thought it was my waters. An U/S showed low amnio levels so they thought they would induce this morning, but today's U/S showed it back to normal levels, not leaking amnio fluid. Baby weighs 6 lbs 9 oz right now, I am dialated 1 cm and dr says it will be anytime now. Just waiting for my lil peanut to make an appearance

No word on the house. Think we are taking it off the market and settling in for baby's arrival now.

kayleen - Tuesday, 26 August
Well I've had my last sleepless night with this severe hip pain... I am calling doc this morning!! I'm sure they'll tell me to just tough it out. Or maybe if I really lay it on thick she'll let me come in and give me the pit! At this point, I don't care. My last two were induced also, so that's all I know anyway... These last couple weeks are so hard! You'd think I would have remembered that... :p
